Fancy honing your adventure riding skills in the stunning surrounds of Exmoor National Park? The Honda Adventure Centre’s got you covered.
Founded by three-time World Motocross Champion Dave Thorpe, the centre’s earned an enviable reputation for its one-and-two-day tours and courses that take in the some of the best adventure-friendly trails and finest roads in the South West. With an expansive fleet of Honda’s on hand, including both manual and DCT Africa Twin’s and Transalp’s, an array of CRF300L’s, and a handful of CL500’s, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We headed down to spend the day throwing around a CRF1100L Africa Twin with the main man himself, who showed us how things are done and offered some words of wisdom and invaluable riding advice in his own chilled out style.
If you’re after something a bit more extreme, there’s also the Dave Thorpe Off-Road Centre which runs both Motocross and Enduro days on a host of CRF250X’s, CRF300L’s and learner-legal friendly CRF125F’s.
