I think what I like the most about this fight is that, while it was super important to both Robby and Miguel, when it’s over Miguel’s disappointed, but not mad at Robby. It could’ve been so easy to blame him, but they’re far beyond anything petty like that.

Theres no better fighter here. There both even in there own right. What separates Miguel from Robby is Miguel is a fiercer more aggressive fighter and sometimes it overwhelms Robby. While Robby is more calculated and calm. Which is why i love them both 💯
Honestly I’m a personal Robby fan. Watching both of these characters fight throughout the entire series has been amazing. I can’t say one better than the other. Miguel a lot better Offense fighter while Robby better at defense. Also depends on the headspace both characters are in. Miguel was broken at S4 and Robby was distracted in S4. Now seeing there both prime fighting in the final season amazing. Overall I’m glad there brothers and working together.
I’ve seen some say that they nerfed Miguel, but I actually think the exact opposite. Dude suffered a back injury and the doctors were unsure whether he’d walk again. He was paralyzed but learned to walk again and learned to fight again as well, all in less than a year I think. on top of that, every time Robby and Miguel have fought, Miguel has always been the winner. Whether it be the first all valley tournament they attended, the fight at the school or the fight at the apartment complex. I don’t get how people say that Miguel is nerfed. If anything, I feel like Robby is a character who has been nerfed a bit. They always show him as one of the most formidable fighters, able to take out an entire dojo of students, he is also very intelligent, using both Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do before either Eagle Fang or Miyagi Do, yet he always seems to come second. I also think just because Miguel has won against Robby, doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed he will win everytime. No one is perfect and I think Robby and Miguel are pretty much even in terms of the strongest fighters, though I will give the edge to Miguel. But in the end, Robby really needed this and I think he’s overall a better leader and deserves to be captain, even though I know they’ll probably cop out and make Robby lose to the new character Kwon and Miguel will take his place and beat him, but anyway I’m really happy for Robby. He deserved a win.

He felt if he won the SekaiTaikai it would get him into Stanford well I mean Sam suggested it but there isn’t evidence of that. In fact Miguel points out they didn’t care about all valley. Basically, Miguel wanted to win because he felt it would get him into Stanford. Robby needed to win because his confidence was shot after losing twice. And there are far more suited extracurricular activities for Miguel to do for his college transcript. Interning at the car dealership directly under Mr LaRusso for example.
I think Robby chose Karate as way of life, he probably end up being a sensei. Miguel used karate to get through life in difficult times, he will go to college and make loads of money. That being said, they both are formidable fighters. It's just Robby is a born fighter, while Miguel is more of a survivor.
Not true at all, he lost in a street fight refed by johnny in season 4 (not 100% sure if it’s 4) while being in a calm status, Miguel and johnny started cobra kai again, doesn't make sense for Robby to be better than miguel
This wasn't even the "best Miguel" because he was worried about Stanford. The best Miguel and best Robby was in season 5 where they fought where that was the most fair fight ever.

Lol Miguel won the whole freakin tournament in S1. Robby lost to Miguel and Hawk in S1 & S4. The only time besides this that Robby got the better of Miguel was in S4 when he wasn't back to the full use of his skills yet due to his back injury. All of these seasons are in close proximity to one another, just like the movies. Then of course when Miguel showed mercy in S2 just before getting kicked over the railing, it's clear Miguel beat Robby once again getting him in that arm lock.

Yet another video where people miss the entire point of everything and scream nerfed, etc etc. Dudes, Miguel was dominating Robby in the beginning--because Miguel was focused and centered and Robby wasn't, until Tory showed up, then Robby became very calm and collected and Miguel started to go off balance as Robby rallied. Then Sam's comment shook him even worse, doubling down on his mentality of the college situation--he lost the Mushin--the no mind, and his mind was no longer on the fight. That is the great thing about this show--it is much truer to live--plenty of times, amazingly skilled people have a bad round, or a bad day or bad match because of other reasons, the mindset is a very important things. I think everyone, even Robby, knows Miguel is the better fighter overall, but they are close enough that if Miguel is off his game and Robby is on his, Robby can definitely take the cake.
I disagree with that. Why would Robby believe Miguel is a better fighter, just because he beat him? Robby lost in s1 because he was injured. Robby lost in s2 because he got angry and went on straight offense which he wasn't trained in how to control. S5 they were both fighting at their best when they both started fighting all out but Miguel wanted it more as he got his rage amp. And no Miguel saying "no I need this" didn't throw him off. This was his motivation to win. Robby's was to be able to win Tory. On top of that Miguel started getting flustered that Robby was countering everything he threw at it him, which makes sense. They are equal. Just because Miguel won more doesn't make it better considering Robby wasn't at his best physically and mentally in the first and second fight respectively. It's just who's balanced on the day.

In season 5, they were both as fine as they could be, lets not forget Miguel has recovered from an injury where he shouldn't even walk again and yet he is going toe to toe with the best. You can clearly see in this fight the "I need this" is Miguel going on tilt. The quality of his fighting and his facial expressions show how much tilt he is going on right after Robby gets his first point and when Sam says what she does, you can tell Miguel is thinking even Sam is worried he might lose and that totally shakes his confidence. Miguel > to Robby. has been through the whole show at least in pure skill. Sometimes when people have a good reason it pushes them through, other times when you want something too much your head is not in the game, and it throws you off. This is very clearly the latter.

I like how they are really highlighting the superiority of Miyagi-Do style this season. In this fight and in the Johnny/Barnes fight. Once Robbie starts focussing on defense instead of forcing the action he takes over this fight.
One of my biggest problems with Cobra Kai is what they’ve done with Miguel. The first two seasons were heavily focused on him and I feel like he’s been sidelined ever since. Now that Robby won the fight it looks like he’s going to have a lesser role again.

Season 3 he had a big role. He was recovering from an injury that Season. Season 4 Johnny becomes his Dad. Season 5 Miguel had a Mexico arc. Season 6 is about him moving on to the next life. College. He’s just sharing the spotlight. They haven’t forgot about him. They don’t wanna overdo Miguel. His story is just as big as any other now.
Honestly Miguel when he is focus he can beat anyone and the same with Robby, but you can tell when both of them aren’t on point they both attend to fall off the tracks, I honestly feel like if these two could fight with nothing on there minds or nothing holding them back, it could go absolutely either way. So those of you that say Miguel or Robby is better. It’s more of who is more focus and i honestly haven’t seen these two fight with out them both going through something. I think the closest we got to that was s5 but then again that was a street fight (Yes I am a Miguel fan but Robby is good too)
I agree, it only made Miguel more desperate. However, it *did* serve a purpose. Sam was trying to inspire Miguel, in the same way he inspired her when she was fighting Devon. "Sam. You're the better fighter. Everyone knows it. The ref might not be doing you any favors, but you've got us in your corner." Sam figured returning the gesture would inspire him, because it worked for her in her fight. But unfortunately, it ended up backfiring. She's a teenager that made a naive attempt at encouraging her boyfriend. That's all.

I agree. Their saying that Robby only won because of sympathy of the writers. This being the fifth time they fought it would've been very predictile if Miguel won this fight aswell since he won every other one. The rumoured theory is that Robby will be injured while fighting and Miguel will replace him as captain. I believe this theory because it started out with miguel and it will end with miguel. Even if Robby does end up not getting injured and will fight kwon I believe kwon will win versus robby and Miguel will fight Kwon elsewhere and will win to end the show.

Robby has been outshining everyone for two season the writers have given Robby plenty of chances to shine it doesn't matter if he won. Robby will lose to Kwon in the first tournament and Miyagi Do will realize how good Cobra Kai is and have to change some things. IMO it's no way after watching the training and fight choreography this season can you make me believe any Miyagi Do kids can beat Cobra Kia. The fighter was better season 2 and 3 now the kids look like amateurs.
In my opinion, they're both good. They're match with each other. Some days are in favor of Robby, some are in favor with Miguel. Just like life. You don't always win. But you always improve. Robby wanted to win because he's always second. Miguel Needs to win for STANDFORD. For me, Robby's cause is more of a motivation type. That's why he won. Miguel is a little out of focus. Because he's pressured on college. We all know his situation, they lack of money. Miguel's desperate, while Robby is focused. Short Summary: MJ is an overrated fighter who gets put in plot armor and gets praised for being an A hole. MJ and Sam get all the praise and Robby and Nichols always get the short end of the stick. You MJ fans don’t like to admit it but Robby is the better fighter. Accolades. 2x All Valley Runner Up. He has killed MJ in almost all their fights. He won at the School, Prom and now here in Season 6. He would have won in season 1 aswell if MJ and Hawk didn’t play dirty and injure him. If the mj fans want to cry and say oh well Keene played dirty at the school fight. Well MJ played dirty at the tournament. So excluding the two messed up fights. Robby Leads 2 - 1. Also if you fanboys flip it and say MJ won the school fight then you have to flip it for Robby as well and say won Season 1. Tried of people saying MJ is the best fighter your boy couldn’t even stay healthy at the tournament and then he does what… decides to book it to Mexico. At this point MJ is known for being a choke artist. In S4 Ep 4 he says he wants to flight Robby but then he sprays water on him like a coward. In S6 part 1 in the fight he’s leading 2 - 0 and then what happens he blows a 2 - 0 lead and loses like a loser.

This boys are really built different!🫢😂 But the boys learned their choreography, and they stand doubles are doing really excellent job! I have to say, this show is one of the worst and (maybe because )nevertheless most entertaining ones I have ever seen…

Lol Miguel won the whole freakin tournament in S1. Robby lost to Miguel and Hawk in S1 & S4. The only time besides this that Robby got the better of Miguel was in S4 when he wasn't back to the full use of his skills yet due to his back injury. All of these seasons are in close proximity to one another, just like the movies. Then of course when Miguel showed mercy in S2 just before getting kicked over the railing, it's clear Miguel beat Robby once again getting him in that arm lock.

Yet another video where people miss the entire point of everything and scream nerfed, etc etc. Dudes, Miguel was dominating Robby in the beginning--because Miguel was focused and centered and Robby wasn't, until Tory showed up, then Robby became very calm and collected and Miguel started to go off balance as Robby rallied. Then Sam's comment shook him even worse, doubling down on his mentality of the college situation--he lost the Mushin--the no mind, and his mind was no longer on the fight. That is the great thing about this show--it is much truer to live--plenty of times, amazingly skilled people have a bad round, or a bad day or bad match because of other reasons, the mindset is a very important things. I think everyone, even Robby, knows Miguel is the better fighter overall, but they are close enough that if Miguel is off his game and Robby is on his, Robby can definitely take the cake.
I disagree with that. Why would Robby believe Miguel is a better fighter, just because he beat him? Robby lost in s1 because he was injured. Robby lost in s2 because he got angry and went on straight offense which he wasn't trained in how to control. S5 they were both fighting at their best when they both started fighting all out but Miguel wanted it more as he got his rage amp. And no Miguel saying "no I need this" didn't throw him off. This was his motivation to win. Robby's was to be able to win Tory. On top of that Miguel started getting flustered that Robby was countering everything he threw at it him, which makes sense. They are equal. Just because Miguel won more doesn't make it better considering Robby wasn't at his best physically and mentally in the first and second fight respectively. It's just who's balanced on the day.
@@phillwilliams2781 Yeah, no. In season 2, Miguel had him dead to rights, even though technically Robby won because Miguel let up. In season 5, they were both as fine as they could be, lets not forget Miguel has recovered from an injury where he shouldn't even walk again and yet he is going toe to toe with the best.
You can clearly see in this fight the "I need this" is Miguel going on tilt. The quality of his fighting and his facial expressions show how much tilt he is going on right after Robby gets his first point and when Sam says what she does, you can tell Miguel is thinking even Sam is worried he might lose and that totally shakes his confidence. Miguel > to Robby. has been through the whole show at least in pure skill. Sometimes when people have a good reason it pushes them through, other times when you want something too much your head is not in the game, and it throws you off. This is very clearly the latter.

I like how they are really highlighting the superiority of Miyagi-Do style this season. In this fight and in the Johnny/Barnes fight. Once Robbie starts focussing on defense instead of forcing the action he takes over this fight.
One of my biggest problems with Cobra Kai is what they’ve done with Miguel. The first two seasons were heavily focused on him and I feel like he’s been sidelined ever since. Now that Robby won the fight it looks like he’s going to have a lesser role again.

I agree. Their saying that Robby only won because of sympathy of the writers. This being the fifth time they fought it would've been very predictile if Miguel won this fight aswell since he won every other one. The rumoured theory is that Robby will be injured while fighting and Miguel will replace him as captain. I believe this theory because it started out with miguel and it will end with miguel. Even if Robby does end up not getting injured and will fight kwon I believe kwon will win versus robby and Miguel will fight Kwon elsewhere and will win to end the show.

Robby has been outshining everyone for two season the writers have given Robby plenty of chances to shine it doesn't matter if he won. Robby will lose to Kwon in the first tournament and Miyagi Do will realize how good Cobra Kai is and have to change some things. IMO it's no way after watching the training and fight choreography this season can you make me believe any Miyagi Do kids can beat Cobra Kia. The fighter was better season 2 and 3 now the kids look like amateurs.
In my opinion, they're both good. They're match with each other. Some days are in favor of Robby, some are in favor with Miguel. Just like life. You don't always win. But you always improve. Robby wanted to win because he's always second. Miguel Needs to win for STANDFORD. For me, Robby's cause is more of a motivation type. That's why he won. Miguel is a little out of focus. Because he's pressured on college. We all know his situation, they lack of money. Miguel's desperate, while Robby is focused. But atleast Miguel won on a match with no points, and no holds barred, no referees, and I think that's a better win.

Short Summary: MJ is an overrated fighter who gets put in plot armor and gets praised for being an A hole.
MJ and Sam get all the praise and Robby and Nichols always get the short end of the stick.
You MJ fans don’t like to admit it but Robby is the better fighter. Accolades. 2x All Valley Runner Up. He has killed MJ in almost all their fights. He won at the School, Prom and now here in Season 6. He would have won in season 1 aswell if MJ and Hawk didn’t play dirty and injure him. If the mj fans want to cry and say oh well Keene played dirty at the school fight. Well MJ played dirty at the tournament. So excluding the two messed up fights. Robby Leads 2 - 1. Also if you fanboys flip it and say MJ won the school fight then you have to flip it for Robby as well and say won Season 1. Tried of people saying MJ is the best fighter your boy couldn’t even stay healthy at the tournament and then he does what… decides to book it to Mexico. At this point MJ is known for being a choke artist. In S4 Ep 4 he says he wants to flight Robby but then he sprays water on him like a coward. In S6 part 1 in the fight he’s leading 2 - 0 and then what happens he blows a 2 - 0 lead and loses like a loser.

This boys are really built different!🫢😂 But the boys learned their choreography, and they stand doubles are doing really excellent job! I have to say, this show is one of the worst and (maybe because )nevertheless most entertaining ones I have ever seen…
