Thanks for sharing friend, I'm going to give this a try. Yes the meatloaf I've had in the US has all had onion. They're usually not as finely chopped in my personal experience and I'm pretty sure it's typically cooked together with the meat.

Oh, I’ve seen recipes for meatloaf that are 100% meat, but it’s interesting to hear that onions are commonly used:)
