    Great interview, Stu is just an amazing guy, one of the greatest people to know in Trials, and he is my dealer for my bikes in New England. He really treats his customers right in every way, and he’s a darn great rider to boot!

    After having a terrible warranty experience with a Beta dealer in California, Missouri, I switched to TRS. Stu Preston @ Jack's Cycles has been FANTASTIC to work with. Thanks for this video.

    What a refreshing video, seeing “old fashioned” commitment to service and end use satisfaction. Bravo to both of you, and thank you.

    Thank you Tom and Stu! Great general advice in a sport with very little info and lots of subjective speculation at times. I appreciate the importanance of this content.

    My next door neighbor… We live in the best place for trials and he was instrumental and getting me off a trials bicycle on my first 280 climber. National #3 MTB trials rider for life

    Great video Stu! Question for you. I ride a TRS300rr and I weight right around 200lbs and I agree with your video that I need a heavier spring for proper geometry. I wash the front tire far too much. With My weight I seem to land exactly in the middle of a 75N/mm and a 80N/mm spring. Which way would you say I should go? Thank you!

      Usually the softer of the 2 and can add in a little more preload as needed. But you can also return and swap out if not happy if you order from Stu... Call his cell listed in the description.

    Thank for the video. For a 70-72 kg (154-159 lbs) rider do you advice to change the rear spring to softer one from the default please? Speaking about TRS ONE 2021 bike

      @TrialsProgression  2 місяці тому

      I don't think it's needed. Just take some of the preload out of the rear shock. You are very close to ideal rider weight

    Do you know how much free sag a vertigo nitro should have? Can’t find the info anywhere.

      I couldn't locate it either. Mine is 8mm and sits at the top of its travel.

      There is no std sag per brand, it depends on your riding level and what you need in terms of more or less traction

    I don't know is Stu will read this, but I need help finding a solution. I need a rear shock for Beta Evo 80 Senior for my son. Stock suspension is dead and I think that there is no point spending money restoring it. Are there any alternatives that I could use? Rider is a 10 year old boy.

    Rider Weight - are you talking about a rider's body weight (naked on the bathroom scale) or fully dressed wearing riding gear? There's easily a 10-15 lb difference. Thanks.
