Will a lithium for x3.0 fit my new pro 3.0?? It's so confusing. Thanks for the video! I learned alot. I probably only needed the x as I don't like complications. Lol
Yea, any rechargeable lithium pack will fit in either camera. The NEW lithium pack has some nice features. And yes, the Reveal X is a great choice if you aren’t comfortable with trail cameras. Search my channel, I did a review and set up video on both the X and the X Pro. Thanks for watching!
I'm torn between the Reveal Sk, Reveal x 3.0, and the reveal Pro 3.0. I'm looking for property security more than anything. I do enjoy seeing my wildlife. Which one do you feel is best for picking up car plates, faces, vehicles, etc?
@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors do you feel they could withstand a winter in Northern Wisconsin? I have spypoint now but in need of upgrade and cannot be done remotely 😞 plus I'm tired of buying batteries.
Will both cameras allow me to share pictures or videos,? My hunting parrtner and I hunt the same land and I would like to be able to share my camera with him so he can see what I seeing on my camera with out having to go and get the pictures off the SD Card..
He can download the Tactacam app and set up an account. The. Under cameras, sharing, you can enter his email and share your cameras pics with him. Unfortunately, he can only see pics, no videos. For videos, just download to your phone and text to him
I use them in NY, CT, and PA all winter. Just be sure you use one of the external battery options, or the lithium pack. AA batteries will die fast in cold temps
I like the new features of the Tactacam 3.0. Both the Pro and the regular X. The Moultrie cameras are pretty good though too. Just prefer the tactacams
Eight gigs is not much at all when your shooting video in HD. I have all models of the Reveal cameras and like the XB and Pro 2 as much as I do the two new ones I have. All my low glow Reveals seem to have better distance at night than the no glow ones do.
Um..who cares what the internal storage is? Run it on loop. You get the pics sent to the app? I don't do videos. I think that is awesome they went this way. IMHO. Am I missing something? Excellent review.
The camera will pick up the strongest signal in your area. If you are asking me if it works with your T-Mobile cell phone, the camera and your cell phone have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
Yes, both 3.0 models can do remote firmware updates. The lithium cartridge is better than AAs for sure! But I run a lithium cartridge with some sort of external solar battery. Other Tactacam, HME, or herd 360. They last WAY longer than the lithium pack alone
@@craigwagner327 it all depends on your settings and how many pics you get. Also, but an extra lithium pack and keep it charged. Then swap them out occasionally when the camera gets down to about 30% life
@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors will there be a battery indicator telling you how low your batteries get? I was told with lithium, indicator shows your at 100 until it's dead. Hopefully that's not true
@@craigwagner327 the app will show current battery strength with the lithium pack. i have found that it is "somewhat" accurate. i change out my batteries when the app reads 30%. when you have an external solar battery connected, the battery percentage will always read 100%
Yes. Their plans range from $5-$13 per month depending on the number of pictures you want. However, all your cameras share the total pics on your account per month.
@@bkoutlaw53 you can activate the camera, add it to your account, and then cancel the subscription. then it will take pics and act like a regular trail camera for free.
What is the purpose of the GPS? I was told when I bought the camera you could track where it is with the GPS option but for the life of me I cannot figure out how this feature works.

Either of the 3.0 cameras. They have better picture quality than the SK

Do you by chance know if they are good to be outside in the winter time and freezing temperatures? Northern WI here 😂.
I use them in NY, CT, and PA all winter. Just be sure you use one of the external battery options, or the lithium pack. AA batteries will die fast in cold temps
how you set time n date on the 3.0 without the screen?
It sets itself automatically
Any reason you know of, why the pro 3.0 flash comes on? Maybe something I can change in the settings? It’s clearly flashing. They look right at it 😂
There should not be any visible light coming from the pro 3. If there is, contact Tactacam.
@ thank you! I just got them, so may be something I’m doing wrong too. Thanks for the reply!

What camera do you prefer moultrie pro2 or tactacam x3.0pro

I thought the Pro 3.0 had no glow. Why not advertise that because that is what made me choose the pro 3.0 vs the x-pro.
It does have no glow. Tactacam advertises it.

I agree, that’s why I use a SD card in the camera. I wish they would’ve gone bigger with the internal memory.
