I'm retired USAF & I've traveled all over the world landing & taking off in some scary situations. By far I'd rather be landing in a military aircraft than any civilian aircraft I ever flew in. There just seemed to be a smoother & more controlled takeoff, flight & landing no matter the weather or danger from the ground.
