If i connect an exterbal ssd and choose that in erase disk and install, then it will install the grub bootloader to the external ssd also right? And i can still boot into windows without the external ssd connected?
I am facing an issue. During Ubuntu 24.04 LTS installation, the WiFi option is not working although the WiFi adapter is connected properly. Please guide me on how to solve it.

I'm getting issues while booting linux mint xfce,

Its recommended not to install/upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04 right now wait for August's stable release since there r few bugs which are kinda critical. So install at your own risk.

I think the recommendation is if you're running 22.04, you should not upgrade to 24.04 until August. I think installing it clean on a machine should be no problem.
No it's not having too many bugs. It's recommended to clean install new ubuntu 24.04 LTS rather than upgrading from older LTS. I have been using since BETA no issue had encountered.
Whenever I try to install ubuntu,it says SYSTEM PROGRAM PROBLEM DETECTED in the end of installation and installation stops.I tried to install it 4 to 5 times but still getting same error again and again.

Cool... I just have one question.... My secondary drive have 1 TB storage and i have 2 partition.. can i create 3rd unallocated partition and install ubantu inside that? Or this tutorial earse my complete drive?
Erase DISK will wipe entire drive bro be careful.
For that you need to create unallocated space in windows from your hard drive, then choose the first option instal alongside windows 11, the installer will detect the free space possibly and try to install in it.

did the same process, but when i restart and remove usb, it displays just boot menu instead of runing ubuntu . Provide solution???

Force turn off the PC, head over to UEFI boot menu and choose ubuntu.
while installation after grub menu its giving an erro unable to find a medium containing a live file system

I set the boot order to usb hdd first yet when I select that in bios, nothing happens. It just stays on the menu and I still have win11 showing up instead
it happens with older machines. You need to manually head over to UEFI boot menu and choose boot from USB.

Go to windows and turn off bit locker through control panel and try again. I mentioned right in the video you need to turn off bit locker.

i am facing really strange error after all these steps its start installing but after 7 8 mins screen appears which says something went wrong we are sorry but we are not sure what the error is. try restarting your computer and start installation. And i have done couple of times but still this thing is appearing

Try to boot ubuntu using Safe Graphics mode, and connect to WIFI. And start installing like normally. Then install all the recommended Graphic drivers and you are good to go ..

My old computer would report an error every time I installed it and could not install it successfully. 22.04 was fine.
