I'm not quite sure what your expecting by sitting a pellet there. I seen tunes done on 12FPE HW97s and the pellets sitting on the top scope cap. A good tune the pellet will still side a little, but without it they will tumble off. I don't think you could tune an HW50 enough to prevent the pellet from sliding into the end of the receiver and being bounced off. It's a 10-11 FPE gun already, Maybe drop it to 6 FPE and some super tune that would give it zero recoil. A pellet sitting on a scope cap will slide forward a little and back with a good tune on an HW97k.
Never seen a pellet placed on the stock like that, its usually on the breech block to demonstrate recoil or lack of it. Looking forward to seeing the results with a Vortek kit. Take care.
TBH, 1st time I did it the pellet hardly moved, filmed it and.its all over the place 😂 When next in stock I'll treat myself to the Vortek Kit, already got them in other Weihrauchs and a spare one yet to fit for the HW80 too
My 99s doesn't do anything like that. It's smooth and crisp . Although I changed the internals to my own parts . Can sit a pellet on scope turret and don't move love the little rifle
Interesting video.....My HW50s /99 has had no tuning done and its firing cyce is great and very accurate. Might put a TBT kit in the future however right now its a gem to shoot.
I think this is slightly exaggerated as I'm having to hold and support the rifle a little more than I would if actually firing it. It shoots straight albeit with a twang and resonance when listening to the play back. Certainly a nice lightweight springer
I’ve owned three of them and I always thought they were over powered from the factory. I put a vortek kit and took it down to 10.5 FPE and it’s a real smooth shooter now.
Don't recommend the vortec kit the tube around the spring will get crunched up. For the very best you want a ARH kit by Jim Macari at .. Air Rifle Headquarters
I did hear recently that some guides and even seals didn't fit the HW99? There does appear to be a variance in diameters of the compression tubes from some early and later version ones that could cause the issues you've mentioned?
Nice shot of the flying pellet. Must try it. I've done it with a 1p coin on my little hw 30. Check it out 👍 what in your opinion is the vest Weihrauch?

I had been doing a video previously explaining the recoil and TBH didn't really look for another flat part of the rifle to get into frame.

My 99s in .22 running a lighter V glide piston at 11.7 ftb is the easiest to shoot accurately springer out of my collection 👍🏻
I'm getting there with the 99, biggest bug bear at the moment is grabbing hold of the front sights when cocking!

Probably most springers do well sub 12 and stops a harsh shot cycle I suppose from not being over sprung?
The Vortek PG4 kit will give a smoother shooting cycle with less noise but the recoil won't be a big difference. Cheers!
Yep, it'll be a Vortek Kit when next in stock

They're all great but the 97 will take some beating
