I never listened to so much video game music as right now. I’ve been listening to bg3 songs several hours per week since *last* summer. It’s replaced most of my driving playlist, as well as the doing the dishes playlist. And it got me singing much more again.
Went through a series of panic attacks recently and listening to the entire BG3 soundtrack while walking in the forest is the best cure I could ever ask for. Thank you Boris, for everything you brought to the world ❤.
I highly recommend the lo-fi remixes of the soundtrack by Jembei as well for this! I have to do weekly medical ketamine treatments for depression and they make me feel really sick and overstimulated, but the lo-fi tracks are so perfect for helping me ground and get through it
Shelby's beautiful voice makes this even more magical. What a perfect version. If you haven't checked out the Cassette Beasts soundtrack and you like her voice, she is all over it. And it is stunning.
After 6 months in BG3 and almost another 6 out of it, i am still humming and singing all themes of the BSO ocasionally. From this to goblin camp and from Down the river to Raphael's theme, all are memorable and came to stay in my head forever. Thank you Borislav and BG3 team for such nice experience.
Shelby Harvey is insanely talented! If you haven't heard of the game Cassette Beasts, the soundtrack is full of amazing songs that feature Shelby Harvey and the game is great too.
Incredible version of this song. I think it really says something about your music that it stands out so much in a game where EVERYTHING is so already so good.
This song has helped me through my addiction. I played it a lot earlier this year as I was getting ready to go to rehab for an addiction. I want to live.....Thanks @Boris Slavov. I still get emotional as I remember listening to this while going through the withdrawals, it was inspirational to me.
My favorite song...the lyrics touched the deepest of my heart and I believed it touched many others as well. Those who suffered... of no fault of theirs, not given a chance to be happy...yearns for more out of life. It's also about the depth of one's love, the willingness to sacrifice and give...to be bound together forever and live, but at the back of the mind the realization that death is either inevitable or events that are detrimental are gonna occur. That's my interpretation.
Your cover tore my heart apart. I’m going to share a personal insight it made me realize: "I have nostalgia for Baldur's Gate III, like crazy nostalgia, the same as for Dark Souls I, my first steps in World of Warcraft, and a few insane things that tear my heart apart... even though I played the game five months ago, it makes no sense. The one hour and twenty minutes of end credits marked me for life, I think, with just the music playing. The soundtrack shatters me like a hammer blow on a crystal glass. I can barely listen to it because it gives me such intense emotions, I can barely stand it. And by the way, it's something I identified recently: there are works, music, or artistic experiences that I find so powerful, often in retrospect, that I'm no longer able to rewatch or relive them - not because I'm afraid of being disappointed - but just because I suffer from the overwhelming emotions they give me. It's crazy, really." You are an absolutely wonderful singer and your voice deeply affected me. Thank you for allowing me to better understand myself.
I absolutely adore the entire soundtrack, but Shelby's gentle huskiness, combined with the beautiful swell of the string section, instantly transports me to the end credits for my first playthrough and makes my eyes well with tears. I truly hope you are proud of the emotion you contributed to the game Bobby ❤
Fun fact, when I googled "I want to live" I got a anti suicide warning. Good for youtube for taken care of people but I didnt exxpect it. Gongratz on this song and your great music from Crysis to BG3. Also Shelby your voice is wonderful
I'm not ashamed to admit how excited I was to see this release. This song swept me away the first time I heard it. It still grips my heart with the happiness and sadness of playing that game for the first time. Beating it? I listened to the entire credits. Wonderful addition. ❤️
Mariya Anastasova and Borislav Slavov... Two names I didn't know at all, then, Baldur's Gate came into my life. I love your work so much (and that of the whole team, of course) for giving me a more than awesome gaming experience! These musics are works of art that I am happy to know today! Thanks from a French gamer girl.
I thought it's impossible to create something more dramatic than Crysis 3 theme. Boy, I was wrong... I'm near my 60 and I can clearly say: I am proud to be your contemporary, mr. Slavov. Sorry for my English.
This song sent chills down my spine the first time I heard it. The soundtrack is the best game soundtrack I've ever listened to. Her voice is really angelic! I look forward to your future works.
So beautiful, almost brought me to tears. Edit: Ohhh, I knew I knew her from somewhere else. From the game Cassette Beasts! Her voice is beautiful on the soundtrack of that game too.
it's been a good few years since I was introduced to your work Borislav - first through Divinity: Original Sin 2, and then through Baldur's Gate 3. To this day I am amazed at how much of a genius you are. Everything you touch immediately turns into a masterpiece. I can't wait to see what you get up to next.
Goodness this is so good. Thankyou Borislav for your epic music (I have 'The Battle for Divinity' queued up for every Elden Ring boss fight I come across currently :). Ms Harvey - you are so talented! All the best x
This song truly captures the overarching feeling a lot of the characters have hidden behind their initial, usually harsh, personas. Even Karlach is presented to you as this dangerous and merciless devil when in truth she just wants to live 🥲
The soundtrack is without a doubt the best I have ever heard, and every version of this song/melody is a masterpiece. I love how much it reminds me of O' Death as well, it gives me the same ominous yet beautiful feel. Fantastic
While this song is clearly about Astarion and Dark Urge - it can really apply to all of the companions and the shared desperation they all feel. The fact that it's taken this incredibly messed up situation for most of them to realise they've been living half-lives. But along with this realisation, they each work up the strength in this impossible situation to openly plead for more time. To hope and even try for a better life in the face of certain death is a foolish kind of bravery, but they still do it. They confront the negative aspects of their lives that have been holding them back for so long. It's something a lot of us struggle with: Working up the courage to say no to the people that have been holding us back for a significant portion of our lives. And here they are, at the lowest points of their lives with no prospects of living any longer - and they choose to try for a second chance at life. I love that so much. Having the strength to carry on is more powerful than a lot of people give it credit for. Love this game.
Thank you for this beautiful soundtrack, Borislav. I want to live and the many versions of Song of Balduran are my favorites, as well as the one in his romance scene, have touched me more than most music has in the last few years
Thank you so much for this song! I met with a friend yesterday and we sat on the couch playing and singing "I want to live" with the guitar and enjoyed it a lot (though I always mess up the last two lines). Just the day after you upload this new version which shows how much more is in it.
Beautiful version. Still expect my 2024 Spotify end of year review to have this wonderful soundtrack at the top of the list. Please release more of the game tracks as albums 😊🙏
The producers said that it's Tav song. It played in the background of every important companion scene with Tav. Also, not because the words Blood like wine are in it make it an Astarion song. It's all about the tadpole
The soundtrack of this game is truly extraordinary. The last time I listened to so much video game music was for Skyrim and the Witcher 3.
FF 7 Remake/ Rebirth has a veey good soundtrack.

make me feel like back to kaer morhen

This song should have been chosen to play at the Game Awards 🏆🏆
The Game Awards did BG3 creators dirty
I still don't know how BG3 music wasn't even a nomination in the Game Awards
@@Brockxz Because they had to pay attention to Alan Wake 2
@@StrigoiVampire Nomination not win
Yeah they felt guilty for giving BG3 all the other awards so they put an inferior Final fantasy music on top.
Just closed Baldurs Gate to go to bed, saw this song being uploaded, started Bladurs Gate right again lol... ♥ The addiction is reeeeaaaal.

And remember, you are not alone, none of us are
Cant wait for Spotify version, i need this in my Borislav Slavov playlist :)
I was singing BG3's songs around my house while I was playing it, and im still doing it months after XD

They just don't want to be sued. If they cared about people living they wouldn't back murderous politicians.

BG3 has the best songs I've ever listen to - not comparing just game music but all.
So beautiful, almost brought me to tears.
Edit: Ohhh, I knew I knew her from somewhere else. From the game Cassette Beasts! Her voice is beautiful on the soundtrack of that game too.
BEAUTIFUL! Amazing works as always Borislav! And great rendition by Shelby.
Borislav please, I just finished a Durge run. The feels are trying to pull me back in with this new song!
I was shocked the first time I heard the non-instrumental version of this song in the credits. Absolute chills
Incredible job Borislav
Even after my first playthrough this game still fascinates me. Its music is magic. Thank you for everything Borislav.

She has the voice of an angel ! ❤ Beautiful cover ! But I admit I prefer a duo for this song like it was made for the original
chills. this is gorgeous
Long awaited version! I still use the "classical" one to sing on top of, but this is the absolute best!
Thank you for your music Borislav ❤
No words 😍🎶
Love your stuff Bobby! This, Sing for me and divines lament are my current faves.
The soundtrack is without a doubt the best I have ever heard, and every version of this song/melody is a masterpiece. I love how much it reminds me of O' Death as well, it gives me the same ominous yet beautiful feel. Fantastic
BG3 songs just hit harder each time i listen to them and always bring a tear to my eye.

I hope Larian studios taps you for their next game, the soundtrack for this game is so perfect!
Such a sweet voixe, such a great composition.... I was sleeping and butt clicked this video, now I am awake and ready to face the Tuesday!!!
brilliant
These songs you made for BG3, all of them, MASTERPIECES
Sublime, un ange caresse mes oreilles ! 🥰

Thank you so much for sharing!!
It’s so satisfying to hear lyrics over the original instrumental song
Stand behind Astarion's tent ... and on the ledge overlooking the city in the camp at the end of act 2
It's always a good day when you upload
I love this song always❤
Beautiful voice
I can’t get enough of this song 😢
Beautiful version. Still expect my 2024 Spotify end of year review to have this wonderful soundtrack at the top of the list. Please release more of the game tracks as albums 😊🙏
This was such a great version !
Beautiful rendition, thanks for all your work
Your voice is so amazingly lovely
you always deliver. been a fan since divinity 2
I love this song!
Larian Studios- "We don't play favorites." Also Larian Studios- *GIVES ASTARION HIS OWN SECRET SONG*
The producers said that it's Tav song. It played in the background of every important companion scene with Tav. Also, not because the words Blood like wine are in it make it an Astarion song. It's all about the tadpole
It is everybody's song
The song also plays when karlach faces any one of her endings.
I had this play when I finished 'Daughter of Darkness' and 'The Pale Elf' and comforted Astarion and Shadowheart.
I love that everyone has a different initial assumption as to whose song this is.
Well today just got better.
Borislav Slavov out here hitting us with another masterpiece 🤩
Wonderful soft voice effected rest my soul
Ive spent 2000 hours in the game and still love the music. But im not sure i heard the sung version of this song in game. beautiful!
Simply amazing!
