Hello Mrs. Barbara, I love your channel and I would love to know more about fertilizers. I’m planting seriously but I need to know more about how and when to fertilize. Thank you for sharing what you’ve learned. Merry Christmas and Happy New year❣️
The carrots & cabbage looks good! Id like to see your seed starting schedule if you have one. Im having the hardest time coming up with one. I did check out seedtime, but im a pen & paper type. Thanks Barbara
I don’t know how to properly cut certain crops and how to cook them after I cut them. For example I know certain leaves you can eat and some you can’t, so it would be very helpful if you showed us you cropping and cooking all different types of veggies AND herbs especially cut and come again, where do I cut it for it to come again? Do I buzz cut it , Mohawk cut ? Mr clean cut it all off? Help me out please!🙏
Hi Ms Barbara! Those carrots and cabbage look amazing!!! I’m going to keep trying to grow my own food in 2025, you encourage me every time I watch you content!
Thank you for your insight 🩷. I too have been feeling that same urgency to grow more food! For the first time after trying for 4 years , I was able to harvest my first purple cauliflower ❤️. I am planning on doubling everything I was planning to grow for 2025. I’m using Home Depot buckets to accomplish it.
Hi Barbara! Great to meet you!😀...I enjoy your videos because your sooo happy and bubbly and it makes me smile. I have a ques. regarding your mention of storing food for a whole year. Are you preserving carrots in a fridge for a year?? And if so how do you do it? Do you mind sharing how to preserve food for long periods ? Thank you!!!❤
Thanks for watching my channel! On the carrots-here is the video on how to store for a year: ua-cam.com/video/WR-YSNrqobM/v-deo.html Also, I have a food preservation playlist you can check out to get more tips on preserving food.
More how you set up on your computer to plan your crops or how to do the layout using Seedtime please do a closeup when showing it 😅 my eyes not to good thank you
Hi! I am a newbie here. This video is only the second one i have ever watched on your channel so sorry if you already have this covered. I would love to see somebody walk me through how to set up a spring garden for successful harvests. I feel like by the time my spring plants are finally getting ready for harvest the insects and pests wake up and absolutely decimate everything and I end up just pulling the plants because there are so many bugs all over them. Any tips and tricks is greatly appreciated
Spring gardening is mostly about timing and where you live/growing zone. You have to calculate how many days you have until your last frost or when pests usually arrive and then count backwards to know when to plant your stuff and what you can plant. Also, you can use a lightweight insect cover over your spring crops to protect them. Hope that helps!
Hey Barbara, thanks for sharing your quick harvest on your garden. Congratulations on your carrots harvest. It’s nice to grab dinner from your garden.
i love watching you in the garden
Thank you very much-I appreciate you stopping by.
