I Nuzlocked Pokemon Emerald with the Worst Luck Possible!

I made a romhack which recreates ‪@Smallant‬’s Pokemon Ruby worst luck mod (made by Atsign), but now in Emerald, and I'm hardcore nuzlocking it! A bad idea? Probably!

Hardcore Nuzlocke rules:
-I can only catch the first pokemon per area
-I can't use any items in battle (held items are allowed)
-I must play on set battle style
-I can't overlevel the next gym leader
-If a Pokemon faints, it dies and can't be used anymore
-If I white-out, I lose

Ironically, by making everything have the worst luck possible, it is far more consistent than any normal run of the game.

Yeah, at some point I routed out how to beat Ruby completely consistently regardless of luck, but never made a video about it

Wait, why did protect work in worst luck though? Isnt there a 1/65536 chance to fail on first use like in smallant's vid?

Although that is correct, that is only the case in Ruby/Sapphire. Dw, I did my research :)

If you’re talking about the save state at the start before the Petalburg Woods encounter, I made that because getting to Mudkip to struggle at the start only requires time, not skill. Sure, I could’ve done it for each run, but that only would’ve made runs unnecessarily longer. (And don’t take things in intros too seriously lol)

For the thumbnail, I meant it more as just me seeing his video and then thinking “yeah I can beat this as a hardcore nuzlocke”, but I get your point. I hope you still enjoyed the video though!
