- Welcome to Movie Shortens. Today I am going to explain and recap a movie titled Half Light (2006). Rachel Carlson, a successful novelist whose life falls apart when her 5-year-old son drowns in her own farmhouse. A year later, in an effort to heal her wounds and start writing again, she rents a secluded cottage in a remote Scottish fishing village, where mysterious events respectively happen that shake the quiet town. She fears for her sanity and her life when the truth is gradually revealed towards the end of the movie.

As I watching this video I was remembering the novel that I read not long ago the stories is cryptic but romantic a girl dating a boy that is died because of a car accident long ago and the girl find the boy moving in their neighborhood in a cryp but oldest house in their place and that's the beginning they knew each other and soon dating until one day the boy can't be found so she calls to the family of the boy and they were shocks as she is telling the story and she knew that the boy she's dating was dead. The girl can't believe what she heard and even visits the grave of the boy for sure and she saw a shadow from afar and she knew that's him. I just remembered it but I forgot the name of what the book is.
I love gaslight movies. Even saw the original one with Ingrid Bergman.

The ghost of Angus has taken possession of Patrick. We don't see Angus but Patrick retreating and sitting anxiously on the floor screaming. Then we see Brian who thinks that Patrick comes down the stairs, but a voice which ist not Patrick's says "No, not Patrick..." an kills him by the hook. In the next scene on the top of the lighthouse it seems as Patrick is Patrick again because he gives her the shell they had buried together on the beach before he jumps from the lighthousee as a sign that she didn't imagine it.

If we ignore to the last part , in the beginning the drifting apart from husband and having sex with other man because kid died because of someone's(either husband or wife) mistake....what sort of thinking is that. How will your dead child soul will feel seeing his mother sleep with someone else.
