Your reaction when the Bismark's silhouette showed up in the fishing boats window right before the main reveal was awesome. Your one of the only reactors that I've watched actually spot it before the main reveal. As for suggestions for other sabaton songs, any will do. They are all goosebump inducingly awesome, but panzerkampf, 40 to 1, night witches, ghost division, and attack of the dead men are especially so.
Thanks for stopping by and Commenting. It just caught my eye and I was questioning myself, Did I just see that.. Am I perceiving something subconsciously? And then. BAM.. So awesome. Have more coming soon
@@argantyr5154 I heard it loud and clear. I search for clues as I go. I try to approach a Video in the artist mindset. Live events as a fan in the crowd.
Nationlism has been pissed on the last years. Sabaton shows the heroes and the people who fought for their nation and risked their lives. At the same time they pull us all together through their music. They have done things no other band has ever done.
Had to laugh seeing you get tongue tied at the end of the video. Have a teenage son who likes Sabaton but nowhere near as much as I do. When I first saw the video for Bismark I also was speechless followed by a mad attempt to get him to watch it. After several failed attempts to do so he finally relented. About 30 seconds in it was, "Dad you win. This is awesome."
I'm still slowly going through your back uploads. Now Sabaton I do know. Saw them live in Germany a few years back, unbelievable band live, their fan base are absolutely nuts at their gigs. A must see band if you ever get the chance... Keep rocking guys... Love from Amsterdam.
We plan to. Had tickets to see them with Judas Priest last September, but Covid destroyed that show. We may fly to Fuland and see them in their home town some day. Certainly will see them when they get back stateside
What I love about Sabaton is that they celebrate and honor the soldiers of all sides in a conflict, not the politics that put those brave souls into combat.
btw, the name that they paint on the boat in the beginning, Primo Victoria, is the name of their first big hit. its about d-day. id also recommend 82nd all the way. its brilliant.
I enjoyed your reaction a lot, in fact, I'm gonna watch it again after posting this. I won't recommend you any specific song from Sabaton, they are all great :D
Thank you so much for that! It's hard to do a blind reaction, but I feel it's more authentic. So I avoid accidental exposure to the song. This band just keeps blowing my mind...Thanks for stopping by and Commenting. Come back often for more. Check out the other content as well.
I'm rather impressed that you spotted Bismarck in the initial shot through the glas. Very few people catch sight of it through then, instead only seeing it when it fully comes into view. That's unfortunate, because I feel like that first glimpse is very well done, making you question whether you actually saw something. Then Bismarck emerges, like a ghost from the fog.
Several have told me I was one of very few to spot it. Check out the Retrospective that Drops Tomorrow. You are on the money. Come back often, Ton to Come

Just joined this channel. Great reaction man!... Sabaton is relative new to me too, I've listened to this song through this kind of reactions many times, yours today remind me of the way I felt when I first listened... I hope the other songs from Sabaton you mentioned are coming on this channel include this 2 : "Attack of the dead men" and "Defense of Moscow" equally or even more thematically and melodic emotional! Thank you. 🤟😊🍻
Just love to see your reaction..and youve only scraped the surface yet. Youre in for some great music and storytelling. I still feel the same way even after years of listening and a number of live shows. :) \m/
This was awesome! It makes me happy to see people discovering the legend that is Joakim. I'm excited to see what comes next. I know you had mentioned wanting to just sit down and listen. Why not sit down and stream listening to them if you can. I have to reccomend the red Baron since it goes hard.
I want to do that. My plan is to do a retrospective after so many songs. Say like every 5 videos. Talk about what I have discovered and learned as a new fan. I plan on trying to do Devil Dogs and Red Baron with my Son. Thanks my friend
@@PositiveCrunch That will be awesome, both those songs go real hard! 🤘 I loved all of the iron maiden stuff you had, I saw them for the legacy of the beast tour and it quickly because my favorite concert over Judas priest and Ozzy! it truly is one of the best songs I have ever heard, listened to it when it first came out on youtube, a few months before it was out on spotify or other platforms. Love seeing other people's reactions to the song and video as my reactions were pretty much the same, blown away.
Amazing song, fantastic video production, love the attention to detail on the ships and the history. One detail I always love in the music is how the band isn't just telling the story with some music added to it but the music and story go hand-in-hand as a whole thing. Like how the music encapsulates the feeling of desperation during the portion where the Bismarck is sinking and the sailor is racing to get away to safety. My #1 Sabaton song was "40:1" until the Last Stand album, now it's "The Last Battle".
Hey! Just found this video and checked out the other sabaton reactions you did. Always a treat to watch new people finding sabaton! Some of my favourits are 40-1 live in Woodstock poland. Did you notice at the end that the captain, of the boat Sabaton is playing on, had the pocket watch the sailor from the Bismarck was given? I didn't notice it the first time
@@PositiveCrunch if you pay close attention the watch has quadrants on it. I believe those where the Bismarck is at or went down at. Your the first person I've seen that caught the watch.
Great video :) The Bismark music video is awesome (as is the song) It's honestly better quality than a lot of movies I've seen. And more historically accurate... Aside from the obvious good stuff in it, I love how the explosions and other sound effects compliment the music :). When Sabaton makes a proper music video they seem to go all in, but this might be the greatest one. But "Screaming Eagles", "Fields of Verdun" and "Seven Pillars of wisdom" are this kind of stuff too. btw. all the stuff from Sabaton in Woodstock 2012 is something I'd recommend seeing. It's a great show :) Their shows are epic.
Wargaming and sabaton did a colab on this one. The video is CGI done by the Wargaming studio and it is to promote the World of warships game, thay also did colab on Primo victoria to promote World of tanks where Sabaton has their own limited edition tank in game 🤘
Another GREAT REACTION to this song, Bismarck, Mr. PC. They render me speechless too. But they also bring tears to my eyes. They don't just tell these stories from the Allies point of view. I see this a TRIBUTE to those on the Bismarck who fought valiantly until the end. All life is precious to me and also to my Creator. So this song really does bring out an emotional response, every time I hear it. Stay Safe and Sane....and of course, Healthy...🕊❤ Sincerely, 🌟💫💛
The small ship is named "Primo Victoria" - also a Sabaton song. A sabaton was the piece of armour a mounted knight wore on his foot. Note the engraved compass/pocket watch? "Primo Victoria" skipper was the survivor rescued from "Bismarck" by the crew of HMS Dorsetshire (which also fired the last torpedoes at the ship)..... before U-74 made them leave the area and the others.
Just subscribed so... Add Australia to the list! Please react to “82nd All the Way” by Sabaton & the cover by Amaranthe. Got this from the comments in the original video, thought l'd share it: "R.I.P. Bernhard Heuer. The last survivior of the Bismarck and the man you see here in this video that got the pocket watch from his dieing captain. He past away at age 95
Thank you! Welcome to the Family my Friend. As for your request, It should be out tomorrow. That quick enough for you? LOL.. Have a great day and come back often!!
It's a great band indeed. I read they got very cold while filming on the boat. The Bismarck sailed around my country during this last mission. Greetings from Iceland.
great reaction video for a great music video. bismarck is definitly one of my top 3 songs with sabaton, if u have not heard you should listen to a life time in war / en livstid i krig, swedish version with english subtitles (in my opinion better lyrics than the english version) . my top favorite sabaton song. have a nice day
Attack of the dead men. It's a must! Also, watch the video at Sabaton History. Legends, all of them, but what a terrible way to die. Appreciate your genuine reaction! *hits subscribe*
Thank you sooooo Much!! It's coming. We have several shot and scheduled. Hoping to do a Sabaton Reaction Every Monday starting next week. This week we will drop 3 Reaction videos! Enjoy
You mentioned you'd like to be on a boat with them🤔 well my friend they have been on #70000tons of metal in '18. They also do their own smaller cruise out of Europe. Get on the boat!!!🤘💜🤘
Pretty cool you reacted to this on my birthday. This is by far my favorite reaction to this song! Why? Because you know the history, the story behind this song and video and man, you are loving it the way I did when I listened to, The Number Of the Beast for the first time back in 1982 Keep the badass reactions coming bro! Where in the US are you? // Packers Nation, Stockholm, Sweden
Sabaton - Primo Victoria is a good one it's about D-Day which the anniversary for that is coming up. Also fun fact the man driving that boat they are on was one of the actual survivors of the Bismarck but sadly did recently pass away if i'm not mistaken.
Sabaton uses mostly war history and set that into focus in both their songs and music videos. It`s such an epic way of telling history by an amazing band =D
Sabaton have a special 24h( 48h last year)cruise every year passed 10 year betwhen Sweden and Finland, 2500 hardcore fans and Sabaton ;-) I been lucky to attend 3 cruises
If you get a chance, check out the Extra History: Hunting the Bismarck - ua-cam.com/video/2CV1tvMYFRs/v-deo.html Total of 4 videos, about 10 minutes each, about the Royal Navy's work to hunt the Bismarck
Hi William. Yes, once he and I can get back together after this whole Coronavirus things loosens its grip. Unfortunately, it has slammed me, but we are looking forward to getting back to filming soon. Stay safe out there.
hey my guy sabaton has a second channel called sabaton history explaining all of there music if you like there music its 100% worth checking really makes you appreciate the lyrics
We love their History Channel. We often check out the corresponding video after our reactions. These guys are to cool. Thank you for reaching out my friend.
@@PositiveCrunch Yeah this band is a great one! When you got time check out the Carolus Rex album its all about Swedish war history and our king in the past Karl xii, people often forget we here in Sweden wasnt always peaceful haha
Don't forget the Sabaton history Chan where the band tells the story behind a lot of their songs. And ofc time ghost who helps them with the telling. 😀
Yes Indeed. You will see me mention that in several videos. Hopefully as new folks discover the band they can discover history as well. Have a great day Friend
Hey, glad you liked it!😄 The first Sabaton song I heard was "Carolus Rex"(Swedish version) in 2013. That was the only Sabaton song I listened to until "Bismarck" was released in 2019... Now I'm addicted. Still working my way through their catalogue... Not one bad song (or music video) so far!😊🤘 Your next reaction should be "Fields of Verdun" (about the battle of Verdun, WW1) or "Seven pillars of wisdom" (about Lawrence of Arabia). Awesome music videos! Greetings from Sweden!🇸🇪🤘
Don't know if someone mentioned it in the comments, the guy with the compass in the beginning was the last living survivor of the Bismarck-crew at the time the shots for the video were taken. Unfortunately He died in the meantime. Nice to see your reaction to this really outstanding video.
Nice reaction to Bismarck. Hope you will react to Sabaton's Screaming Eagle. If not, I recommend a song by Avenged Sevenfold - Dear God ( their only country-style song they got) ;-) Oh, by the way: Since I'm Norwegian, I would be proud if you react to Sabaton - Saboteurs.
Thanks for stopping by and Commenting. I appreciate the Recommendations. I'll see what I can do. Have a great day and please Subscribe if you haven't already
Big fan of the band, and one of the things I appreciate most is while they respect the soldiers that fought on both sides they also don't shy away from the stuff that made the war hell. Highly recommend the song Rise of Evil, as Sabaton definitely has an opinion on Nazism, and the horrors of the war. This song is probably one of their best. This, 40 to 1 and Uprising are personal favorites.
Thank you to World of Warships for creating the amazing battle scene for this video. All the ships and fighting were created using CGI, then used Live Action actors placed into the scene. This is just one example of some of World of Warship's amazing battle scenes they can make. BTW- World of Warships is a free to play warship game.
Yes indeed, an early reaction on the channel. We just did the Live performance from the Great Tour. Check out the Sabaton Reaction Playlist we have. Take care!
@@PositiveCrunch Yes Tvaettis the mans name is Bernhard Heuer, he was really given that compass you see in the clip by the captain, it had the coordinates of the bismarcks last position before she sank, thats where Sabaton is Jamming.
That's not exactly true. The old man was probably meant to _represent_ Heuer, but it was not the man himself, who would have been celebrating his 97th birthday around the time the video was filmed. According to one report online Heuer sadly passed away in 2018, just weeks before turning 96.
@@Harv72b You are right Harv, it is not the actual man, i should have described it better, i meant that the old man in the clip ( who plays Heuer, ) is also the young man that gets the compass from the captain, those 2 are playing Heuers real experience.
what i find an interesting fact in the video, is the pocketwatch of the fisherman,... its shown many times in the video from the time the captain scratches the coordinates to the end when we takes a last look at it before the video ends. if you are looking for good songs of sabaton, id recommend: Nightwitches, Shiroyama, Attack of the Dead Men, Feilds of Verdun
Man, i always heard the stories about the Bismarck, but nothing compared to this song, the Bismarck leaving the fog, damn, even watching it like 19999 times, i always got impressed. Sabaton also made a huge tribute to brazillian troops who fight in WWII. Its a song called Smoking Snakes
It is absolutely Amazing, huh? I will certainly get around to that one. I hope to drop a Sabaton Reaction Every Monday. Hope you have decided to Subscribe my friend. Cheers
I like to suggest Polish band called Nile, they base their songs on Egyptian history, very interesting and a great metal band! Love from the Netherlands, I signed up for you guys!
Fun fact: 2 days ago HMS Hood got sunk 79 years ago (May 26 194) by Bismarck in The Battle of The Denmark Straight. 1 day ago, it was 79 years since Bismarck had been sunk.
You are correct. I had that notated and was going to add that into the video, but somewhere along the way it appears I left the clip out. Bummer. Thank You for stopping by and commenting! Please Consider Subscribing if you haven't already
I went to see them in london cause I was not going to forgive myself if didn't went. And when they the first note of Bismarck was on stage.......none was silent. On riff of the last hit I cried like a kid. It is not about a German battleship. Is about the most beautiful and powerful battleship that has been sink.
If you think he is supriced seeing Bismarck in the fog... think of how supriced the captain of bismark was to se sabaton playing in the ocean in a futuristic fishing boat.
Looking forward to see what your son will think of the one you have been reactiong to :-) I hope he likes Sabaton as much! !! Their latest musicvideo (I believe its the latest) is about Lawrence of Arabia. "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" .....as I think you will never leave sabaton now :-) .... You could just as well go from today and backwards in time :-)
If you and your son are looking to explore a different type metal/folk music fusion may I suggest "The Hu" they are mongolian metal that incorporates throat singing into their songs. Yuve Yuve Ue and wolf totem are both good starting points
Thanks Emmit.. I think someone else mentioned them a day or so ago. Will have to check it out. I believe they mentioned Throat Singing.. Should be fun to hear

"Primo Victoria" skipper was the survivor rescued from "Bismarck" by the crew of HMS Dorsetshire (which also fired the last torpedoes at the ship)..... before U-74 made them leave the area and the others.
Yes.. This Video is a Masterpiece. I have watched it several times now and have found so many things. Excellent!!
Everyone loves Sabaton
As they should
Just subscribed so... Add Australia to the list! Please react to “82nd All the Way” by Sabaton & the cover by Amaranthe.
Got this from the comments in the original video, thought l'd share it:
"R.I.P. Bernhard Heuer. The last survivior of the Bismarck and the man you see here in this video
that got the pocket watch from his dieing captain.
Hello ICELAND!! I bet they did... It looked cold
great reaction video for a great music video. bismarck is definitly one of my top 3 songs with sabaton, if u have not heard you should listen to a life time in war / en livstid i krig, swedish version with english subtitles (in my opinion better lyrics than the english version) . my top favorite sabaton song. have a nice day
I will check it out. Thanks You Too
Attack of the dead men. It's a must! Also, watch the video at Sabaton History. Legends, all of them, but what a terrible way to die.
Appreciate your genuine reaction!

Thank you sooooo Much!! It's coming. We have several shot and scheduled. Hoping to do a Sabaton Reaction Every Monday starting next week. This week we will drop 3 Reaction videos! Enjoy
Today is the anniversary of the sinking of the Bismarck.
Indeed it is
They also have a history channel that has videos for quite a few of their songs, including Bismarck, quite interesting.
Yes, I have recently checked out the videos after a Reaction. Great Stuff
You mentioned you'd like to be on a boat with them🤔 well my friend they have been on #70000tons of metal in '18. They also do their own smaller cruise out of Europe. Get on the boat!!!🤘💜🤘
Yes Sir, so I have heard. That would be awesome! Maybe someday
Nice video 👍! As a fellow UA-camr, I am contantly searching for new ideas! Excellent Job!
Thank you! I just Subscribed to your channel. It looks amazing. Can't wait to get some time and check out your videos.
@@PositiveCrunch Thank You!
Pretty cool you reacted to this on my birthday. This is by far my favorite reaction to this song! Why? Because you know the history, the story behind this song and video and man, you are loving it the way I did when I listened to, The Number Of the Beast for the first time back in 1982
Keep the badass reactions coming bro! Where in the US are you?
// Packers Nation, Stockholm, Sweden
Thank you and Happy Birthday! We are in North Carolina
Sabaton is the full package that is why they are the greatest band on the planet. British Sabaton fan 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
Long Live SABATON!!
as a side note here, the name they gave the boat at 4:12 is an older song by the band (from the older setup of the band)
iTS JUST THAT GOOD MAN :)) HAHA.. WOW FU** YAY HAHA. Love Sweden
It sure is my friend.. Glad you found us. Come back for more. Cheers
Sabaton - Primo Victoria is a good one it's about D-Day which the anniversary for that is coming up. Also fun fact the man driving that boat they are on was one of the actual survivors of the Bismarck but sadly did recently pass away if i'm not mistaken.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Hope you have Subscribed. Yes, The Reaction will be out Very Soon....
Sabaton uses mostly war history and set that into focus in both their songs and music videos. It`s such an epic way of telling history by an amazing band =D
I love that they keep the politics out and the stories in
@@PositiveCrunch For sure =D
Screaming Eagles, To Hell and Back; about a soldier from The Lone Star State.
82nd all the way, Devil Dogs.
Coming soon. Thanks for stopping by and Commenting.
Yessss, someone reacting to bismark with actual historical knowledge
Thank you. I love history. Always trying to learn more.
@@PositiveCrunch ye history is my favorite subject at school
Sabaton have a special 24h( 48h last year)cruise every year passed 10 year betwhen Sweden and Finland, 2500 hardcore fans and Sabaton ;-) I been lucky to attend 3 cruises
That is awesome! I can't imagine how cool that is. Thank you for sharing. Come back often.
If you get a chance, check out the Extra History: Hunting the Bismarck - ua-cam.com/video/2CV1tvMYFRs/v-deo.html Total of 4 videos, about 10 minutes each, about the Royal Navy's work to hunt the Bismarck
Thank you
Any chance of you and your boy doing Winged Hussars? By far my favorite Sabaton song right now.
My boys Sabaton :)
One Badass group! Thank You for stopping by and commenting! Please Consider Subscribing if you haven't already
Screaming Eagles official video is one i really like along with fields of verdun it captures the intensity of war very well
I will be covering those soon. I have a month of releases scheduled now. I love this Band!
I will be doing those for sure. I have several songs completed and scheduled for June, So Keep an Eye out. Have a Great Weekend and Thank you
As a side note, the name of the boat they played on (4:12) is an older song by the band (from the older lineup of the band).
Yes. Primo Victoria. That Video Drops Friday. Hope you check it out my friend
Don't know if someone mentioned it in the comments, the guy with the compass in the beginning was the last living survivor of the Bismarck-crew at the time the shots for the video were taken. Unfortunately He died in the meantime.
Nice to see your reaction to this really outstanding video.
That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing. Cheers my Friend
And the clock he has stopped when a Shell hits the Bismarck
Awesome stuff man! A sub from me.
Thank you Daniel.. You Rock! Glad to have you
Nice reaction to Bismarck. Hope you will react to Sabaton's Screaming Eagle. If not, I recommend a song by Avenged Sevenfold - Dear God ( their only country-style song they got) ;-)
Oh, by the way: Since I'm Norwegian, I would be proud if you react to Sabaton - Saboteurs.
Thanks for stopping by and Commenting. I appreciate the Recommendations. I'll see what I can do. Have a great day and please Subscribe if you haven't already
love your intro
Thank you so much. It's who we are. Come back often for more
@@PositiveCrunch I will :)
Ghost Division from the 2012 Woodstock consert. Pure energy!
Thank you. That Reaction is coming soon. Already Scheduled
Thank you! Stick around I feel it will be out soon my friend
Thank you my friend. I have the same admiration for the band and their style. I will be checking that out sometime soon
If people would know the story and dark intentions behind this event...which its repercussions still making waves up to this day.
Thank you to World of Warships for creating the amazing battle scene for this video. All the ships and fighting were created using CGI, then used Live Action actors placed into the scene. This is just one example of some of World of Warship's amazing battle scenes they can make. BTW- World of Warships is a free to play warship game.
I just recently found that out. Man, what great work for sure. Awesome to know on the game.Thank you
@@PositiveCrunch yea you should totally check it out. It's a free game so you can give it a go without any risk.
Yeap we sweed can tell the history in Epic 😁😁
I would agreed!! LOL
OMG sabaton bismarck reation😎😎
Yes indeed, an early reaction on the channel. We just did the Live performance from the Great Tour. Check out the Sabaton Reaction Playlist we have. Take care!
Love this chubby!
👍🤟❤🇸🇪
LOL. Thanks
Fun Fact: The old man in the beginning of the song was a real survivor of the ship and that was represented as the guy being saved in the end.
I learned that, So awesome
The old man in the clip is what I have understood Heurs son as Heur died before the video was shot/released.
what i find an interesting fact in the video, is the pocketwatch of the fisherman,... its shown many times in the video from the time the captain scratches the coordinates to the end when we takes a last look at it before the video ends.
if you are looking for good songs of sabaton, id recommend: Nightwitches, Shiroyama, Attack of the Dead Men, Feilds of Verdun
Thank you
Man, i always heard the stories about the Bismarck, but nothing compared to this song, the Bismarck leaving the fog, damn, even watching it like 19999 times, i always got impressed.
Thank you my Friend! I will check them out
@@PositiveCrunch You wont regret
NILE - Enduring The Eternal Molestation Of Flame (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) Start with this one
@@PositiveCrunch Try Call to destruction, best metal song I know, and Iǘe been an metal guitarist for 34 years, hahaha...
@@PositiveCrunch why not!
Hood was destroyed on May 24th, on May 26th the Torpedos hit Bismarck and jammed the rudder!
@@huey-fan8335 true
I went to see them in london cause I was not going to forgive myself if didn't went. And when they the first note of Bismarck was on stage.......none was silent. On riff of the last hit I cried like a kid. It is not about a German battleship. Is about the most beautiful and powerful battleship that has been sink.
That's awesome to hear your experience my friend. Thank you
I think they are jamming at the spot where bismarck sank a ways of the coast of France.
I love their detail
@@PositiveCrunch Thats why you see the compass thruout the song, it has the bismarcks last known coordinates on it before it went down.
the sure are amazing
Indeed
Can't see how a band can leave speachless three songs in a row. Just wait for Nightwish 😁
My First Nightwish Reaction is coming out Tuesday. More to come for sure. Have a Great Weekend
If you think he is supriced seeing Bismarck in the fog... think of how supriced the captain of bismark was to se sabaton playing in the ocean in a futuristic fishing boat.
😂😂😂😂😂 Probably the reason they got defeated. Crew was to busy rockin' 🤘🤘
You should react to the video/song night witches by sabaton or the song no bullets fly animated story video by sabaton both of them made me cry
Check out our Sabaton Reaction Playlist my friend. We've not did No bullets fly yet though. Soon
Loved the reaction!:)
I would highly recommend nightwish the greatest show on earth live at tempre! That will let you speechless too;)
Thanks. I have a Nightwish coming soon. Thanks for stopping by and Commenting.
You could just as well go from today and backwards in time :-)
Yeah, I hope he loves the band too. We will soon see. Thanks for stopping by and Commenting.
Hello from Canada! Try Carlos Rex, You are welcome.
Hello Northern Neighbor! Yes, I have it shot and scheduled and coming out soon. Have a Great day and come back often.
