I work at a Toyota dealership, and this CDK hack has completely disrupted our operations. I can't check our parts inventory, find BIN locations, create new orders, or receive parts. It's brought our work to a standstill.
I was at Kay Honda DCH in Eatontown, NJ when the hackers hit and it took over 3 hours just to have my oil changed because of the hack. They are completely shutdown with the computers.

At my dealership we have a secondary system so we can operate with no problem, we do not have access to customer data base for historic info! Cdk said two weeks or more until a fix comes out
I also work at a dealership that has cdk software…in the service dept…can’t pull up any customer information…can’t see warranty info vin# or anything..been down since weds morning and when I left today it was still down…hopefully by Monday this gets resolved…but there will be a mountain of paperwork to do by then…argh…we are taking calls but can’t do anything for anyone at this point…
At my dealership, we can’t even order parts from the warehouse or see if the parts are there at the warehouse or in our stock and pricing so it’s a little difficult

I hope that gets resolved soon. London Drugs had to close down for more than a week to deal with a cyber attack. It came from Russia. In the mean time enjoy the nice weather we're having.

Aren’t they supposed to have backups? That would at least allow dealerships to look up information.
Backup server was also hacked.

Mercedes-benz dealership, bay area ... completely screwed us up ... we'll see what autonation wants to do this week.
