Authorized service center is not able to fix it.
@Volkswagen India should look into this issue.
The best solution is to get good damping done for floor, door and boot. That would be the only solution to rattling issues

In all new germans cars audi bmw Mercedes vw skoda. The problem is gloss black and shinny plastic trims when they contract they make that noise. Germans should have added soft foam near the locks of the trims. Poor quality control on their behalf.
That’s true. They are doing only when customer is complaining. It should have been done from factory.

@@sndpu7 it has been fixed upto some extent but not 100%. It’s an issue with material in bright sunny days.
Was this issue fixed? I own GT from last 8 months and this problem has started occurring now along with door rattling. It’s annoying. They couldn’t fix the rear wheel brake noise already. It’s an end of VW in India this way.
Not exactly, Noise from upper trim that surrounds infotainment has been fixed but still has some noise around AC controls on bad roads. These issues are present in most of VW 2.0 cars. I tried replacing center console trim and upper trim that surrounds infotainment. Main issue is with the service center they are simply incapable of identifying and fixing the issue. Other observation is these shiny trims rattle more in hot summers.

My car is facing this issue and noise is very loud and clear now.
Initially VW tried to fix this with adding some tape on door edges but i dont think this is helping anymore.
Now noise is started coming from dashboard, roof and floor as well.
Please give me references from pune service center who fixed it for you

Even I’m facing the same issue in 1.0 Taigun topline and still no resolution
It seems like issue with material used. It expands with temperature and create that noise. I tried all possible ways but this is what i have figured out.

SC applies some tape inside the panels where lock sits. It can substantially dead that noise but it should be applied very carefully. I have seen an instance when they applied tape and some of the locks were not setting in which resulted in way more noise. I hope this will help you. @@thetaigungt Yes they applied the tape and the noise went away but next day when it was standing in heat, the tape might have lost the stickiness and the noise came back. Need a permanent solution from VW.
@@theanfielddiary4514 Yeah, Infact without the tapes, The plastic makes more noise due to the heat, The interior quality is poor unlike the old polo and vento.
@@vedantbhalgama3531 they sent a different kind of tape this time around after i sent a mail to the VW India CEO but I'm thinking it's just the plastic material and that this noise will never go away
That sounds really bad. I was planning to get a Taigun Highline AT 1.0. Have they found a resolution yet? And are you facing any AC issue?
AC issue has been fixed in 1.0. I never faced as i have 1.5 variant. I guess,In Highline, interior is a bit different. You may test drive 2023 model and decide you should go or not. It only irritates on uneven roads.
