"Legend of the Eight Satomi" is a Japanese film released in 1983, based on the story of the Eight Satomi Samurai. It is a large-scale entertainment film that incorporates innovative ideas not seen in period dramas, such as the powerful battles by JAC, a rock theme song with English lyrics, and special effects. It is also the first Japanese film to have special makeup credited.
