[MV/PV] Byakkotai (Year-end period drama special) 1986

"Year-end period drama special" was broadcast on Nippon Television in 1986. I was in the fifth grade at the time. It was honestly touching and entertaining. After that, it was rebroadcast almost every year and I always watched it. It was no surprise, as it apparently had the highest audience ratings. I only found out about this fact quite recently. It was entertaining even for children, so I'm sure you can understand why. When I look back at it as an adult, I can't stop crying. The theme song, "Aishiki Hibi," and the lyrics by Takao Horiuchi match this drama and make it even more tear-jerking.
Of course, there is the suicide scene of the Byakkotai, but I also wanted to include the suicide scene of the famous 21 members of the Saigo Tanomo clan, the clan of the chief retainer, and the two scenes that symbolize the tragic Battle of Aizu. It was a drama that made me keenly aware of the tragedy of war once again.
