i was gonna get ferrets, i did a lot of research ( your a really good source ) . my parents didnt know how much work and money it costed and we arents getting them anymore. i am glad i did the research so they didnt end up not being cared enough for / couldnt be paid for

My ferret coughed and hacked a couple times so i have been feeding him two eggs a week since then and he hasn’t done it again since then so it really does work great and it is ironically also the easiest solution plus they really like it.
How do u cook it why does eggs help my ferret is having trouble breathing
@@ImDarknut the egg is supposed to be given raw, if the ferret has some hair stuck in the stomach it helps to slide it down easier.this is a preventative measure for hairballs. If your ferret has trouble breathing you should go to the vet giving him an egg is not going to help, something serious could be going on.

And this is my first time getting one! So I am sooooo excited! So again, thank you! And I have two dogs at home, so hopefully I can get them to be good buds! I just got out of school and came to watch! I’m unfortunately not able to get a small business since I live in California, but when I’m older I’ll definitely move for these noodle cats! Just fed my Bob his first raw egg and he loved it! Mixed a little bit of his wild Alaskan salmon oil and he went crazy after he was done he rubbed his nose in the carpet and was rolling around happy boy!

What do you do if your ferret isn’t interested in eggs at all? I’ve tried a few times and my little guy, who’s only 4 months old, is not impressed. 😬🤣 Any help and suggestions would be amazing!
AH TY!!! My ferret got a little sick because of hairballs at least thats what the vet thought. She was licking a lot before gagging. But i will give her a few eggs hopefully it will help!
Also the calcium thing is really smart ill do that too!
My ferret had a hairball that was really bad and he was dry heaving/vomiting at least 3 times. Gave him some Vaseline and he loved it and finally calmed down!

I lost 2 of my ferrets due to hairballs and it took them in less than 48 hours. If you are considering getting ferrets, please make sure there’s an emergency vet near you.
M’y ferret keeps on coughing, I’ll give him a chicken egg 1-2 a week ! :) Thanks, i was scared he was very sike!
My 5-month old boy ferret has sounded raspy and coughed for the past few weeks. My former ferret had this same hairball problem, so I am fairly certain this is the same. However, in my old ferret, I could get her to pass the hairball and not sound raspy within a few days. I brought my boy ferret to the vet. He had a full exam, a full x-ray, and they could find nothing wrong with him. For two weeks, I have given him eggs 2x/week, vaseline 2-3x/day, and ground wysong "soup" (with warm water) 2-3x day. 1 of those times I put 1 opened capsule of vetasyl in it, which I credit to saving my old ferret's life in hairball emergencies. My boy ferret doesn't sound like he is getting any better. I'm at a loss of what to do.
I've also tried putting pure pumpkin in the soup, but fear giving him too much as it's not healthy for him.
How is your ferret now? And what did you do to help him?
While watching this video my 4 month old ferret is at a clinic because of a blockage. The doctor did x-ray on her and found debris in her stomach. However, she's no longer vomiting or having diarrhea so I can take her home today. I will try some of the methods just to see if that will help. Fingers Crossed
Hey what can I do if am only allowed to get one ferret but I don’t want them to be bored or depressed that they don’t have anyone and uh I have to store buy because around my area it doesn’t have any ferret shelters or shelters with ferrets I’m getting mine on Christmas I already know what imma gonna buy ur videos have been helping me allot !!
If its one ferret you have to be able to play with it and give it a bit more time than if it was 2
How many chicken eggs per week is appropriate? I was always taught that ferrets can have the yellow, but not the white. It's okay to feed them both parts? I used vetasyl (capsule broken up and stirred into ground wysong kibble made into a soup) with my first ferret.

I started giving my ferrets an egg once or twice a week, only two of them willingly eat it I’ve tried to get the other two to eat it by putting some in a syringe and giving it to him they still won’t eat it voluntarily but I was told to only give them the yolk because of the avidin in the white part of the egg if u read this let me know ur thoughts on it if u have a minute, anyway love ur videos 🤗
My ferret coco is about 7/8 months old and she is breathing really heavily all the sudden this morning when I let her out of her cage ( she is out all day and In at night) her breathing is very loud when my ear wasn’t even near her
Take her to vet! Ferrets are susceptible to acquiring a variety of different upper respiratory issues/infections. They can turn quickly if something is seriously wrong. My baby started with heavy breathing, I made appointment for next day, but she didn’t make it.

hey so im highly concerned for my ferret, he wont eat and barely drinks water, he rarely poops, and when he is running around it looks like he is gonna throw uo but he never does
i would suggest giving him some coconut oil or pumpkin to him get that out but if that doesn’t help i would set an appointment for a vet! i had a similar problem!

God I wish I could get ferrets but I cant even leave my house because I have covid-19 😭😭😭
Don't get ferrets for at least three months then, Ferrets can catch covid and potentially die, make sure you are absolutely clear of it.
I haven’t experienced a fur ball issue yet but I have a big question. I have one ferret who doesn’t mind egg and the other won’t touch it yet. I’ve put it on my finger to give and he refused. I put it on his nose and he licked it off but no desire lol. Do I keep at him till he likes it or mix it with some of his food instead? I just tossed the ferret lax in the trash.
When I introduced my ferrets to egg, they wouldn't touch it, either. I mixed it with a bit of their food and watched them eat so I could throw out the rest when they were done. I did this once a week, decreasing the amount of food I mixed into the egg every time, and they were fully willing to eat the egg alone after a few weeks. Definitely worth a try IMO!

Ziwipeak! I heard in her discord server that mixing flavors too is good too. But I do suggest you feed raw as it is actually cheaper than Ziwipeak if you’re going to feed multiple flavors in kibble.

I really want to help foster/rescue ferrets, I have a little guest house that I built for my foster kittens/cats, it’s air conditioned, heated, windows, dry walled etc, it’s an 8x8 room and I want to have a cage in there for night time, but otherwise I want them free roaming! Is this room too small? I’d also be taking them into the main house to play too! Please someone tell me if this is enough space!
