I live with PTSD. I have 6 ferrets. They keep me entertained and as the narrator said, you can't be sad when you're around these little guys who are always happy. I take mine with me when I run errands. Since I have 6, they take turns. My ferrets have their own bedroom. It has a pair of Ferret Nation cages zip tied together, but the doors are always open. In their room they have cat trees, PVC pipe and flexible duct hose. This allows them to run, climb and play. Each day they join me in the living room where I have even more toys. I also sit on the floor and play with them.
My panda ferret is deaf and it scared me to no other when i couldnt wake him for play time... i put cold water at his feet and he looked at me like i was the crazy one🤣🤣 did a lil research after to learn that panda ferrets remain deaf and lots of ferrets have deep rem sleeps.....love these lil buggers❤❤❤
my panda ferret is also deaf :\\. He lives "free house", without a cage, so it is always a struggle for me to find him to take him on the walk outside or to the vet's appointments.

Basically the living room and dining room privileges. I got rid of my couches and chairs bc they like to burrow in them, and I don't want any mishaps!!!! I love them, they bring me joy, and it's true if they're weren't so stinking cute (all puns intetended) they wouldn't be able to get away with all this mischief ❤❤❤

As one ferret owner to another: I highly advise finding a vet and doing regular checkups. Not only because of where they came from, but ferrets are unfortunately notorious for having many severe health issues. I'm sure you've done some research since, as this video is now 3 months old, but this is probably the biggest thing I'd stress to any new ferret owner. It's certainly going to have a LOT of learning experiences no matter how prepared you feel you are, but so long as you're caring for them the best way you can, they're amazing little guys.
If you found a ferret, it probably got sneaky and snuck out of their home... the owner may be worried sick about their baby being lost. I know I had one sneak outside in the past, and my neighbor knew I had ferrets and returned him home. They are so sneaky, a crack in the window, ac ducts, the door slightly opened they will escape. So if you truly found this ferret, I hope you help find its way home... 🙏❤

You should think about getting some lengths of 4" or 6" diameter flexible ducting (plastic, not metal) - the stuff used for extractor fans, tumble driers etc. Ferrets love to run through it - it mimics their natural hunting habitat of burrowing animals. Don't know what you have in the way of outdoor space, but if you do have a yard you could put up a semi-permanent (seasonal?) run, with junctions, dead-ends (which change, to keep them challenged). You can make them work for their food (bit of chicken at one end, ferret at the other), which is good.
