this boss fight's secon phase is so dogshit. ive respected thrice (i had a lot of stats leveled so first two I tried to keep my favourite weapons with a more specific build, third one I'm going 60 vig 60 str 60 arc for blood fiend arm). I've always been a from software fan, I've literally played and completed every souls, every armored core+ bloodborne demon souls and sekiro. this just isn't the tipe of challenge I enjoy from these games. hope they realise their mistake
Just realized i needed to be rolling in on his cross chop... rolling straight back second phase when he calls in the orbital lasers also seems like the best move. Very clean vid thank you.
Yeah that cross chop can be a killer. The orbital lasers just reminded me of his meteor dive bomb attack he does in caelid so I just kinda panicked and ran to learn it the first time lmao
It has over 200 bleed build up with the bleed affinity. So 2 hits usually does it. Also every charged R2 counts as 2 hits with the blood splatter at the end so essentially, if your quick enough.. 2 charged R2s are 4 hits
wtf is the stupid 3 hit combo where he goes left swing - right swing - cross chop? I either dodge the first hit and get hit by the second, or get hit by the first hit and one shot because of stunlock
No idea dude I never mastered that one💀 the only rare cases where I dodged it were when I hit him with a strong R2 and my character would just be lower than the first two swings
Yeah according to what I've heard that shit is ass, my only recommendation would be to try the parrying tear in the wondrous physick and parry the first two hits, and roll into him for the last hit so you can get some hits in
i beat him in ng5 or 6, i dont remember yesterday, was pretty hard x.x especially if u do summon those 2 quest npc it just make it even more harder, cuz they pretty much dosent really help almost at all, ive put also my mimic on fight...is a hard fight
It’s a fair fight.. phase 1 can be learned fairly quickly, and in phase 2 he has more attacks but more punish windows as well. There are only 2-3 attacks that are really hard to learn in phase 2 but once you do it’s just a Matter of time before ya smack him.
I’ve got like 54 vigor, 60 strength, 60 arcane, and 53 dex. Mostly respec’d for the bloodfiend’s arm to do crazy damage and bleed (+ scadutree blessing was 19)
There’s very few attacks that you can safely punish with a heavy attack. Sometimes he’ll do one where you think you can punish but he’ll follow up right away. The trick is you just need to master his patterns and be super patient😭

@@yigitdnr7260 I hear it isn’t affected UNTIL NG+5 and higher. Also a lot of the attacks I’ve been one-shotted by I’ve seen streamers tank

boss took me three days on ng + 4 finally beat him with a similar build
Same💀 only other boss to take me this long was Malenia but she was actually a fair fight
