Great video! I really like the tacoma. It’s smaller (agree with you on the nose part). I really hope they nail the next gen taco!! Or else I’ll be looking for a 2015 (or 2022) TRD pro!
I think this Tundra interrior is way better than the Raptor interrior. I just don’t see anything special in the Raptor, I definitely think the Tundra is better. In my opinion I also like the front end being longer than the previous gen. The great thing about the Tundra is that it is pulling that Tacoma type look while being a Tundra 😂😂😂
That thing isnt a Tundra. Toyota discontinued the Tundra after 2021. Nobody knows what it really is. People are still trying to figure what it is. Toyota customer service hasnt been too helpful with the question.
After riding in the Tacoma, I’ll pick any other truck, so uncomfortable and the seating feels weird,I love the truck but man the comfort is terrible, fyi I just bought the 22 sr5 mag grey 4x4 w convenience pckg
I have a Tacoma 2008 TRD Sport 2x4 Silver Metallic with no 🔔 and weasel, it is very basic on her class and it has 55k miles...is the baby of the house....I don't change this dinosaur with the new Tacoma's.... I'm very happy with this truck and never have a problem with it...run like a new truck....
Tacoma lines and trim makes for a better appearance. I don't need a full size truck any longer and after having a mid size I'll never go back to full size.
@@UntamedMotors I just bought a '19 TRD Pro VooDoo blue. Love it. Almost pulled the trigger on the newest TRD Pro. Thanks for all the videos and insight you provide. You def swayed me purchasing the old one!
Do you have trouble fitting the kids car seats in the taco? I currently drive and is350 and although it’s small it fits 2 toddler car seats despite it being a relatively small sedan. Asking since I’m interested in the taco but afraid of the back seat space. Oddly enough I’m indecisive between the 22 raptor and 23 taco TRD pro… both you’ve driven. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
I drive a Tacoma TRD and I can’t say i have kids but if i did it seems like it would be a hassle with car seats. If you didn’t have the car seats it would be fine but still may be a tight fit. I would hate for my opinion to lead you not to get it because it’s an absolute beauty of a truck and i think you should check it out at the dealership first. The raptor may be more practical however
Tacoma has no rear air vents and it's small. anyone with more than 2 people in the family should never buy a Tacoma, if they do, it clearly shows how selfish they are. They only think about themselves and could care less about the ones they should love and respect.
I initially wanted a Tacoma until I sat in it. Too small for me, but I do love the look. Ended up with a tundra.
Been debating on trading my Tacoma in for a trd pro tundra. I’m still torn
I get the sense that these will never actually be offroad comparisons.
TFL truck has you covered. =]
The one that had the rear window that goes down.
Tacoma imo ….

You still need the KDMAX Pro +XT tune for the tacoma! It won't be so slow and remove gear hunting. Im getting my 2022 trd pro done in 2 weeks!

Tundra has more space , etc a tundra Trd off roader would be better than the Tacoma . Tacoma is under powered . You get same mpg
I'll take my chances with the Tundra. We Sold our 18 trd pro tacoma. Other than the looks, the tacoma really didn't wow me enough to keep it.
I have a feeling m after the RX reveal, the next gen taco will get the 2.4 turbo and the 4Runner that engine with the battery hybrid from the RX500
I'd take the Tacoma any day over the new Tundra.
Tacoma just looks so damn good. Ive never owned one tho so no idea about performance or comfort.

I am old school

At 68k there is no way I would purchase this over the raptor..rather spend the extra 5k for the raptor..of course not talking about a mark up
Do you miss your old TRD Pro?
I do. The previous gen Tundra TRD Pro is perfect.

@@CorbyIzTrill awesome man! Great choice! Congrats. My pleasure, thanks for watching!
Tacoma, cheers
Tundra Pro is sooo expensive
What about the leaf springs in the rear? The forerunner doesn't have them..your opinion thanks
Hp and torque not worth losing reliability I'll keep my 17 tundra
Supercharge the taco and its perfect.
Man that’d be a blast… tempting for sure.

Test drive both trucks. You'll probably end up with the Raptor
Thanks for the input fella’s
Tacoma has horrible space in the back. Definitely go for the tundra if you’re hauling people.
TACOMA!
