Can't Download Videos from Google Drive to Iphone Camera Roll?

- This issue happens on the Iphone 13 you try to download videos rendered in Premiere Pro at 4k resolution from Google Drive. There was no way of downloading the videos in Camera Roll until I found the fix.

Okay PLEASE READ THIS! YOU AND A FEW OTHERS SAVED ME HOURS OF WORK HOURS LIKE 40 I HAD 100GB OF THIS IN MY GOOGLE DRIVE. What i am now doing is redownloading each section via google drive putting it into hand brake then exporting it as h265 mp4 then back into google drive, I do h264 out of adobe through render and replace on my sequences to export sequences as individual clips. Hopefully this comment gets to the person that needs it
Thanks so much for this video. This has been driving me crazy all day. All I wanted to do was get some videos I edited in CapCut onto my iphone so I can upload them as shorts/tiktoks but nothing was working. This solved it.

When you're in the export windows click on the dropdown list under "format" and choose HEVC (h.265). I have the latest version of premiere pro so I don't remember if anything is different in older versions.

Well I showed using Premiere Pro because that's what I use but you can use any video converter

BROTHER. Been struggling with this all day, H265 is what saved me. Although I had the issue on a vertical video, had to render it to h265 and it worked.

How to you get to the menu where you can change the render?
In Premiere pro just go to the export menu. In all others should be the same, it's in the export settings

Forgot to say for anyone else searching, handbrake is open source and did the trick for the conversion.

please help a girl out. i have fan cams from concerts that i've watched. i have videos that up to about 7 minutes. i use an iphone 13, and everytime i'm about to go to another concert i use the utility feature of google photos so that it deletes from my camera roll and uploads on google photos. I was trying to retrieve videos from october and i was shocked when i can't download it from google photos. is there hope for me to retrieve them? i keep trying to download the videos on my phone, my ipad and laptop but it just won't come through.
A solution would be to download them to an android or windows device and use ICloud from now on

wow i have been trying to save a video from obs on my computer to my iphone videos and it would not word. on OBS it does not have the 265 your speaking about but i was able to change the video recording to mp4 movie and now it is working perfect! Thank you. my iphone 13 pro max has the IOS 17.3 for anyone who has the same situation.
That's great! It seems like either they've done this on purposes or this is an old bug which they still haven't fixed. Regular Iphone users never have to do this type of transfer so maybe it went unnoticed but I doubt it because so many big creators have iPhones. What's strange is that on my wife's 11 pro max it's working without having to convert it first.

Where do you get that option
You can use handbrake if you don’t have adobe premiere or another NLE to use. If you have Premiere it’s in the Export tab

You need to download it to a pc first, then re-render it

I'm glad it worked! VideoProc is great for rendering in bulk. You can specify a folder with videos to render.
