For many years jets didn’t have any system to help the crew if they were passed out. Many pilots have lost their lives over GLOC accidents. It wasn’t until in recent years that a system called Auto-GCAS (Automatic-Ground Collision Avoidance System) was installed and the aircraft could detect if a pilot was unconscious and essentially level the plane automatically before it hits the ground.
Scary stuff
ua-cam.com/video/WkZGL7RQBVw/v-deo.html
So glad someone answered his question! But to be fair... it's still isn't perfect, depending on the terrain.
It does not detect if a pilot is unconscious. It simply looks at will your current flight path cause you to crash via math. If it deems yes, it auto pulls out of the dive.
Auto-GCAS saving unconscious pilot on an F-16:
ua-cam.com/video/WkZGL7RQBVw/v-deo.html
@@SirCanadianBacon it has nothing to do with whether the pilot is unconscious. The system simply looks at flying data
btw guys, the 5th gen jets aren't beyond US's capabilities and we have jets equal to those if not better. They had to use a specific jet for the mission due to the situation of diving in and destroying the target, which are older, less mobile, and have more fire power than the 5th gen jets. Great reaction as always though!
But the real reason is that F22 & F35 are single seaters, while the F18 have double seaters
@@scottbarkley496 exactly
@@scottbarkley496 I was going to say the same thing.
@@scottbarkley496 Yeah and the F-22 is Air Force and not rated for Carrier operations.
The biggest reason was the GPS jammers, the 5th gen relies heavily on GPS.
Watched this in the movie theater. Had goosebumps several times and also got teary eyed at certain moments too.
It’s so good!
It's not as good as the original, but they did a really great job on Top Gun 2. Sometimes sequels ruin the original movies.
@@loganlapointe2744 It's way better than the original. The acting is better, the story is better, the romance is actually believable in Maverick
saw it too at theatres and was like this the whole time :😐🤨😐
@@loganlapointe2744 what are you talking about its way better than the original
Dude the way you describe JTAC is crazy. I've heard about them before but didn't realize how intricate their work really is. Good stuff.
They are nuts
@@FNGACADEMY was he an embedded CCT or TACP, or another Green Beret that was JTAC certified?
@@injuredoutdoorsman9011 probably not cct are airforce .
@@area11lureworxs32 USAF CCTs and PJs are often embedded with other SOF units, whereas TACPs are usually embedded with conventional forces. The 24th STS embed with other Tier 1 units like SEAL Team 6/DEVGRU and DELTA/CAG

Top Gun Maverick is essentially the Death Star Trench Run from Star Wars A New Hope. Which is what makes this movie even cooler. Since it’s essentially what we should have gotten from Disney’s Star Wars. Lol
or the mission from Iron Eagle 2, or the canyon mission in any Ace Combat game, or the real life missions that inspired Star Wars, as featured in The Dambusters and 633 Squadron.
@@EfftupSmith Chappie!!!!
@@kevinking1750 much as I love Iron Eagle. Doug Masters is an annoying Whiny jerk, and I 'm glad they killed him off at the beginning of the second one.
Which is essentially taken directly from “The Dambusters” (50’s movie chronicling true story of spinning bombs skipping water to break water dams!
Sean is correct. The F-18 has an automatic control system that returns the entire aircraft to 1G horizontal flight when it detects pilot GLOC. There's video out there of an F-16 returning to level flight from pilot G-LOC on UA-cam somewhere. It was designed for situations precisely like this.
Wish I had that in my truck for 2am Sunday morning 😂
This movie was a labor of love and was such a big success because it knew what it was as a movie And didn't try to overstep its boundaries. It delivered exactly on what it promised.
Absolutely. There have been a few movies that I was excited about, followed through development, only to be disappointed by the final product on the screen.
This one knocked it out of the park.
The U.S. does have 5th gen fighters, f-22 and f-35. They aren't being used in the story because of the radar jamming on the mountain and laser guided bombs don't need radar to get on target making the f-15 or f-18 the only options. Since the f-15 is more geared to air suppression the f-18 is the better option because it does have a little edge in air to ground combat.
But the real reason f-18's were used is because the f-22 and f-35 are single seat aircraft and they needed duel seats to film the way they did. The actors controlled the cameras while in flight.
F22 is not a Navy airframe. Probably the main reason it wasn't used
@@DowntownDeuce2 True its not, but that's not why its not in the film. They needed duel seated fighters otherwise they could have wrote the f-22 as easily into to the plot as they did the su-57 into the Iranian military.
I don't think the f-15 is navy either come to think of it.
@@jonathanlong4066 You're probably right. Nothing else about the plot made sense or adhered to military protocol or reality, that wouldn't have been much of a stretch for them.
Few things about the movie made sense; it is unfortunate that they didn't budget more for technical advisors and screenplay. It was about as realistic and plausible as the Iron Eagle franchise.
And, yes, the F15 is USAF inventory only.
Obviously
Can you imagine Buck behind the stick with 5 beers? That’s gonna be the most epic thing ever

As a former Army attack helicopter pilot, thanks for the reaction! Great movie! I actually saw the original immediately after my review board for Army flight school. My parents drove me to the board…I was high school to flight school. I don’t know of any auto-eject but, I didn’t actually fly fighters, only airliners and private jets. Small teams, stealth and time on target were essential for us. I believe Coleman was a Warrant Officer, like myself…cool character! I appreciate what you did in Spec Ops! New subscriber here!
As a Naval Aviator and Instructor, I can promise you that there is no one in the US Navy that resembles the "Bagman" character. Anyone with that attitude would be absolutely destroyed by an instructor in flight, and probably have his guts stomped out by his peers. For that matter, the entire cadre of pilots shown here would NEVER have the attitude depicted. "Everyone here is the best there is - who could possibly teach us?" I don't care if they are Top Gun graduates, no one would have that attitude. The INSTANT you think you have nothing to learn is when you die. That is absolutely pounded into the head of every aviator.
Flew F-16s for 12 years. You’re absolutely right on.
Thank you bother - same for both services. Be humble or be humiliated. That's it.@@cfzippo
Having spent my entire tour on an air station, I promise you there are, I've met them (Marine AND Navy). They may have the wherewithal not to behave like that in certain groups, but my interactions were away from the flight line.
the "5th gen fighter" issue was addressed in the movie; there is a scene where there was a debate between the F/A18 and the F35; the script made up a hokey reason why the F35 didn't suit the mission but that was essentially a ruse because the real reason to use the F/A18 was because they needed the backseat. The Russian plane in the movie is formidable, but the F35 is a 5th gen fighter, so we are not out-matched in the air.
Yep, though I do gripe at the detail about them not using F35s, it is easily forgivable. Ignoring that the F35's interior has probably a lot of classified stuff in there the Navy doesn't want shown, there also aren't any two seated F35s in existence from what I know thus wouldn't allow Tom to get what he wanted for the movie.
The F35 is a hunk of junk for the DOD to waste money on. Each having to have the gucciest of gucci, especially requiring their own version designed.
Didnt they say the reason they couldn't use the F35 was because the enemy was using GPS jammers in the area around the uranium enrichment facility. I know the F35 heavily relies on GPS technology.
@@joshuaortiz2031 yes, but the military experts i have heard from say this isn't really an issue for the F35; it worked as the excuse in the movie but wouldn't have been an issue in the real world.
We own the sky. We own the space above it. We own the world's oceans.
Russia, China don't stand a chance. They have garbage compared to us. Straight garbage. They don't have real aircraft carriers, they're a joke. We have 11 nuke powered carriers. That's not even taking into account that we have nuclear submarines with our carrier groups. Unlimited range.
This idea that insurgency takes down a military like ours is foolish. We weren't allowed to get the job done right and you know it.
Let's point to some examples of doing it right.
Germany, Japan, Korea. Have we ever left those countries? Nope. We have military bases all around their countries.
Now look at our failures.
Vietnam, Somalia, Afghanistan.
What stopped us from "winning"?
We could take Afghanistan back easily.
The breakdown of the aspects of what it takes to succeed in any aspect of The SF mentality, let alone life during this one is priceless! You're absolutely right Sean.. NO EXCUSES! Thanks Boys! 🤘🏼
Thanks Jay!
This is one of those movies u either have to seen it in theatres or have a bad ass sound system , to appreciate this movie and the sound.
Fact!
@@FNGACADEMY Maybe another one for a breakdown (if its not on the list already):

I did the same but with my daughter. She's 11 so I had to fast forward a couple parts on the first one. She wants to be a pilot like you wouldn't believe.
@@mikebrase5161 AHHA She said to me" How was watching this as a kid?" lol I don't remember the sex scene stuff. I liked the movie it was pretty well done and nostalgic.
Top Gun Maverick was a very unusual sequel, in that rather than give us something entirely new or the first film over again, it gave us the first film AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. It took the deficiencies of the first film and corrected them. Excellent entertainment.
Aah I was SO close to suggesting this last week. Damn mind readers, keep killing the content guys!!
Thanks dude!
"they didn't make a mistake."
5 minutes later
"Who the fuck is this guy with the gun? Why don't you stand on the outside of the door?"
I feel the exact same why about Tom Cruise and his beliefs: he's consistently knocked it out of the park when entertaining me for DECADES, so.....who cares what he believes?
I reccomend checking out CW Lemoines channel he was a fighter pilot and was has lots of reaction videos. Plus a collab between y'all would be amazing
He made the most in-depth review ever. He is like FNG but in the aviation department.. Amazing
Came here to recommend his reactions too!
Episode one: ua-cam.com/video/THeoKjVlFSw/v-deo.html
There's a great Ken Burns documentary series on the Vietnam War. Would be cool to get your watch and reactions to it.
Can you guys do a break down of the movie “Behind Enemy Lines” starring Owen Wilson?
Regarding autopilot/altimeter stuff 37:10 I think they have buzzers, but C.W. Lemoine (F16 AF and F18 Navy pilot) mentioned that without input the F18 would probably just level out when they did a vid on this too. Cool channel if you're into fighter aircraft.
That story about the CCT is so cool. Calling in hate and discontent while sitting on his ass in a half-dead state. That's flow state of mind.
Iceman, Penny, Hondo, and Warlock had Maverick’s back the entire time and at the conclusion, Maverick earned everyone else’s respect!
The dshk is the Russian equivalent to our maadus (m2 50 caliber) and fires a 12.7x109 round the maadus fires a 12.7x99 round ballistically there's not much difference between the two if any (forgotten weapons great channel if you're into guns check them out)
Really enjoy your breakdowns. There's a Navy & Air Force guy (or two) that have a series on Maverick ... very good: ua-cam.com/video/jEfTxMvrScQ/v-deo.html
If you guys can do a video with “Mover ruins movie” then it’s a dream come true to me! He’s a fighter pilot that used to flew the F-16 and the F-18, and he also did videos about this film; love you guys.
This is a great movie, but it’s also terrible. So many ridiculous inaccuracies. Still the best movie I’ve seen in years. But…
1. The Navy has no use for a MACH 10 capable reconnaissance craft that isn’t carrier landing capable. They can’t even have one by law, as that’s the sole purview of the Air Force.
2. You can’t survive an ejection at MACH 10. You would disintegrate.
3. Top Gun is at Fallon, not North Island.
4. Fat Amy would do this mission (if she wasn’t deadlined) but there would be no exciting movie, hence using Hornets. She could do SEAD for the mission, but again, more exciting.
5. This whole plan is absolutely stupid.
6. When Coyote GLOCs, his Hornet will auto correct at horizontal stabilization. Also, he’s off this mission after that.
7. Phoenix and Bob, after ejecting, are off this mission.
8. This plan is so stupid.
There’s more, but it’s getting late, and I’m tired.
Or IRL they would just use 2 B-2s, 1 ISR drone, and 1 AWACS and clear this mission. If IRAN doesnt blow up their own stuff aka the history of Iran's tech advancements, lol! Like you said Navy involvement in this mission is stupid!
Please react to Kilo Two Bravo, you guys reacted to Bravo Two Zero it's a different movie about SAS. However, Kilo Two Bravo is about British soldiers in Afghanistan. Two different movies :)
We have 5th gen fighters. (F35 and F22….been out for a long time). This was just a scenario for the movie. Love the series dude, keep up the great work!
👊
B2 & B21 bombers are also 5th gen
Yes they are and Top Gun pilots are like the SEAL team six or delta force of navy fighter pilots.
36:00 there is no auto-eject in the F-18. There is an auto seat/man separation AFTER ejection at a certain altitude. That being said, if you pass out in the jet, it will automatically seek 1G flight, and won’t just tumble out of the sky, but if you’re at an unusual attitude (i.e. pointed nose down) you are kinda screwed
This movie had a lot of callbacks to the original & Star Wars. One callback that I got that I haven’t seen anyone else mention is the test pilot scene with Ed Harris. Ed Harris played John Glenn in The Right Stuff, one of my favorite movies, which was about Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier & the space race.
One of the greatest action films I've ever seen. I'm glad they spent all the time that they did to make it. Well worth it.
5th Gen jets are the new jets, which America has. They mentioned the 5th gen Jet, F35, but said it wasn't suitable for the mission, which isn't true, but to make the movie work, they needed a 2 seater, which a f18 has, and an f18 is a 4th Gen jet.
An nice
F-22s are much more maneuverable than the F-35s due to their independent dual thrust vectoring engines and could probably pull off this mission, but they were made to be the ultimate air to air superiority fighter and weren’t designed as multi role fighters like the F-35
@@injuredoutdoorsman9011 Yeah, and to be honest, this mission would of been done with just a ship shooting a rocket or two and done...but there'll be no story for us. lol.
The story with the enemy planes being 5th gen while the Navy were using 4.5 gen is a bit more on the logistical side for the making of the movie. I've been told that the USN would've definitely went in with F35s which are also 5th gen had the mission been real. It's just that Tom Cruise was VERY adamant about the movie being as believable as possible and that required the actors to actually ride in real planes to help get it as real as possible. The reason I am also told why they couldn't use F35s, besides the fact that a lot about it is classified, is that there aren't any two-seater F35s in existence.
From what I heard the actors actually went up in the two seater variants of the hornet with real navy pilots.
@@joshuaortiz2031 yes they did.
Our 5th gen fighters are the F-22's and F-35's. Maverick explains that they have to use F-18's to pull off the below radar maneuverability's for that specific mission. Our F-22 is the most advanced and deadly fighter in the world. :)
Best movie 🎥 I ever seen personally. Whole movie was spot on, but Darkstar scene really did something to me. It really inspired me to the 💯 power.
They used Super Hornets that were inferior to 5th Gen fighters because all U.S. 5th Gen fighters are single seat fighters and the deal with Tom Cruse to make a second Top Gun was they had to be really flying in jets with minimal CGI. But the U.S. has 5th Gen fighters and they would destroy the Su-57 any day of the week. Now having said that the Su-57 is not to be taken lightly but the F-22 Raptor is on another level. Skunk Works is on it’s own playing field.
They absolutely should've gotten Clarence Alfred Gilyard Jr, the guy who played Sundown, the only black pilot in Top Gun, to reprise his role instead of Cyclone.
Gilyard passed in 2022 unfortunately. I wonder if they asked him and he turned it down.
During my service in Finnish Armed Forces we were told several times by our NCO's and higher officers that if we receive a order that is a total BS order we were actually encouraged to refuse to execute such orders.
Hey, so I'm a civilian, but I do know something about fighter planes. So the whole fifth generation fighter thing is sort of fiction, but also sort of fact at the time the movie was being filmed. So at the time the movie was being filmed, the Russians had built the SU-57, which was the fifth generation fighter that they end up fighting in the movie. In this movie, they are definitely going into Iran. (They don't say that in the movie, but that's definitely the country they were going after.) So, this movie imagines that the Russians sold Iran those fifth generation fighters. At the time the movie was being made, the US Air Force had 5th generation fighters in the F-22 and the F-35A. However, the US Navy was still working on bringing their F-35C online and technically did not yet have a fifth generation fighter. Unfortunately for the movie story, by the time the movie actually released, the F-35C had become operational with the US Navy, and they had to make a BS excuse as to why they couldn't use it for this mission in order to move forward with what they were able to film in the F-18s.
If you want to know why I think it's Iran, it's a few things. First, Iran does have some of the alpine snowy mountain terrain from the movie, they do have coastline such that you can fly right from the ocean into their airspace. They are also one of a handful of countries we're actually worried about if they ever get nuclear weapons capabilities, so if they built a nuclear facility, we would be wanting to bomb it. But the biggest giveaway is the F-14. Iran is the only country in the world outside the US who ever bought the F-14.
Sean, Abel, Kurt, and everyone else that works on these videos I have to say thank you to you guys for making awesome content like this. Truly look forward to it every week and it never disappoints.
Thanks so much 🙏
There was one mistake that was very glaring. The rest of the movie was amazing and I've watched it a bunch of times. I'm ex-Navy and spent my whole time in the service on the flight deck of aircraft carriers. Hondo on the flight deck giving orders to the deck crew while deploying the barricade, is a big fat, jumping the shark, NO.
That ain't going to happen under any circumstance in any alternate universe. NO.
Raising the barricade is not just some random thing. We drill on it. There's a chain of command that runs that event with procedures. Hondo is a warrant officer. That's the lowest of all the officer ranks and he's a guest on the ship, he's not even ship's company. The carrier is the flagship of any fleet, so there's a two star watching, the CO of the boat, who is an 06 (Navy Captain), the Air Boss and Mini-Boss who run all carrier flight deck operations and they are both 06's, and they are all watching this go down... the deck division officer who's probably an 04 (LtCmdr). This wasn't a drill it was a real emergency, so no way is that deck boss is allowing some tourist to take over his division in the middle of an emergency with the entire chain of command watching. That officer's whole career was just vaporize in a microsecond.
I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw that btw. :)
America has the most advanced 5th Generation planes in the world (F35 and F22). The reason they flew F18 (4th gen ships) were because the US Navy would not allow them to use F35's due to security issues (officially) so they had to squeeze a reason to use F18's. The F14 is a Gen 3 fighter.
I definitely saw TG: Maverick twice. It's worth it.
I like how Tom Cruse at his age can still fly a fighter aircraft, pull G’s and fly special missions. From my understanding fighter pilots are old at 25.
Maybe a World War Z….breakdown. I imagine some funny and tactical breakdowns. Maybe even explaining what y’all guys would do.. in zombie apocalypse. Thank you for content!!
I would rather they do 28 weeks later with Jeremy Renner. That was a badass movie. Wwz is lame in comparison. it was kinda lame the book was much better.
dude check your fanboy rock musician experience... boring , get back to the video...we didn't come here to listen to your monologue
One of my favorite scenes in the movie was at the end where one plane would cover the other. Communicate, move, deploy flares, cover, move, etc. Fantastic teamwork!
39:00 ok, but if you're in a jet and someone gets shut down, what's the idea behind "going back" for someone? At best you can do a pass, maybe take out the helicopter that came to kill him (what are the odds and why would they kill a lone pilot instead of capturing and interrogating?), but it's not like you're about to land and squeeze him into a seat that you don't have
Going to keep commenting until they watch Tarkov: The raid
Also Maverick is just Star Wars: A New Hope 🤣 (look up The Fat Electrician top gun is star wars)
Please do a beer and breakdown review of "the way of the gun"! Tons of great scenes in that movie!
We’ll check it out
Good movie but should have been a Star Wars film...
Was waiting for someone to say: "You are required to maneuver straight down this trench"
Love you guys BUT it’s hard to believe you ever had cassette tapes. Prove me wrong 😂
CW Lemoine and his buddy Gonky(F-18 pilots) talked about how the new hornets have fail safes for that.
Who else saw this movie and thought at the end "Yup this is the trench run from star wars" minus the whole evasion/ stealing a Tomcat. Nothing wrong with that btw
Feel like a dead man’s switch on the stick would be good with the gs not a pilot tho.
It isn’t so much that he can’t breathe but that he is doing “puppy grunts” to keep blood in his brain by straining. I’ve only done 7 G’s but if you don’t do that it’s lights out really quick.
I subscribed when you said Tom Cruise could Scientology it up and I’ll still watch his movies because that’s a true statement. Like he’s so good that I honestly don’t care that he believes crazy shit.
@4:55...Maverick was under arrest for disobeying orders. Hence, the armed guard 🙂
We Were Soldiers must be next. It's a good one I promise.
36:31 Saw a fighter pilot review this scene. This is a real thing. Pilots have died in training in this exact situation.
I really like your spec ops take on this movie. Your story about the JTAC is awesome, I worked with one overseas and that guy always looked like he never slept either, but still was able to do their job. I had the same reaction to this movie, and wanted to know what a pilot thought of this movie. If you guys want a pilot's perspective on Top Gun: Maverick, recommend checking C.W. Lemoine's channel "Fighter Pilot's Breakdown of Top Gun Maverick" you'll surely learned some things about aviation from these guys.
Not much out there for 5th gen fighters, the Russians have the questionable su57 , and the Chinese have a knockoff version of the same fighter, it was the only part of the film that seemed kinda annoying
I'm pretty sure we have the best machinery as far as aviation is concerned.
“If you don’t know what a cassette tape is” 😂
As much as I like these videos, I wish there was more actual movie reacting.
I saw this opening night there was a navy recruiter there I hope that everyone that enlisted didn’t join as a janitor also they used f18s instead of f35s because the f18 has a back seat so the ditch generation fighters are better then the f18s
It's Star Wars. Watch it again and tell me what you think.
I worked as a contractor with the 920th Rescue wing USAF CSAR. Their application requirements are a physical fitness test. Green Berets, Army Rangers, Navy Seals...etc tried out for it. 36 elite soldiers tried out one day...2 people passed
The Air force has the system you’re describing. If it detects G lock; it will send warnings, if no inputs are detected it will level off the jet.
Thar speech about Success hit hard, that's probably why my good friend of many years ghosted me. I don't have the mind for that stuff, and he is trying to make it in the BMX world. I do hope he makes it and accomplishes his dreams, wish you so much luck buddy. I am rooting for you.
That*
37:22 fck this scene is just CHILLS ALL THE WAY!
This was the ONLY movie in my entire life that i saw more than once in the theaters! This movie is created for that, the sound is just fking amazing! This movie is amazing
One thing that most people don’t consider is that even though these “enemy” countries have these 5th generation fighters that could be comparable to US 5th generation fighters, they don’t have many of them in terms of shear numbers. Also, our pilots have exponentially more time in the seat training than let’s say Chinese or Russian pilots. The skill level of the aircrew regardless of how advanced the platform is not even comparable. I’m a maintenance manager in a navy fighter squadron and each of our pilots fly multiple times a week sometimes even multiple times a day. These other countries pilots are not afforded that opportunity, sometimes flying only once a month or once every couple months. The skill level of our fighter aircrew is unmatched.
That's the thing about the US military, the government is willing to throw money at them to make sure the military is always able not only have the best but also to have it in volume and training of the soldiers. My dad and uncle were in the mariners and my older brother was in the army so I've always tried to keep up what with is going on.
I agree the movie was great but in the beginning. Maverick punches out at Mach 10. If you punch out at Mach 10. You're not going to live
To be fair, this is a completely fictional aircraft, and for all you know, there's some kind of survival capsule designed to keep its occupant alive in the event of a hypersonic ejection, and then he ejects from that capsule at a much lower velocity.
The plot from this movie is the same as Star Wars. Nothing new.
I still reckon you should do a beer and breakdowns on the UK series Strike Back.
I saw this one three times in the theater and then bought it as soon as I could on prime.
It’s the arrow analogy and it’s a Native American saying. That’s why the Seal of the United States has an Eagle holding a lot of arrows.
Supposedly it was Ghengis Khan who explained "Force through Unity" to his sons, breaking one arrow to represent thé lone warrior, then trying to unsuccesfully break several held together.
1 minute in. Tom Cruise can do what he likes.
Saw this movie on a military post for the first time, before a MOB. He did a pre movie interview on how He appreciated the military and wanted to make it good for US. I don't know if they have that on other civilian movie theaters, but you guys should see that and they should add it to the civilian movie experience. It adds another demention to this great movie.
Hit the like & subscribe, or you're doing a burpee mile.
The 5th gen comment “above the US’s capability/equipment” is wrong. As far as we know the US has the only mass produced and combat tested 5th gen aircraft. That being the f-35. Russia and China both have 5th gen but Russias su-57 is borderline inoperable and Chinas j-20 isn’t that stealthy because it’s engines aren’t stealthy.
Yeah, the real reason they didn’t use the F22 or F35 is because there’s no 2 seat version for filming in
31:00 was an awesome story about the JTAC.
1. They needed to drop from a low altitude because of the SAM systems that surrounded the mountain and valley. If they dropped from high altitude they would die. 2. When Mav when after Coyote to try and lock onto him, he was just trying to make him up earlier in case he didn’t wake up from the warning
You guys definitely ‘fan boy’d’ this movie. As an old Navy dude, there were multiple things wrong in this movie. One which you pointed out, there wouldn’t be an armed sentry at the low ready in an Admiral’s office.
As a former Ranger I can say with confidence that half of the officer class wanted to be pilot but couldn't.
Bro there is no military in the world that has technology far beyond US military abilities lol.
This, lol! Like F22 And F35 are 5th Gen (confirmed) to the public
You guys should do Navy Seals next with Charlie sheen. You guys put out some good shit I always feel like I’m drinking a beer swapping war stories with ya when I see your videos
Saw it in IMAX and it was amazing. I mean I lost my hearing for a few days, but it was worth it.
Easily goes up there as one of my all time favorite movies of the year so far. I’ve seen this film way too many times to count atm. Lol
Yeah sure scam bot.
18:10 Not our enemies, no. But some of our NATO allies...especially the Brits and Germans...sometimes had some cool stuff...some optics and some other stuff. But our Gerbers and Leathermans were gold when it came to bartering for stuff...Hell, my Gerber was like platinum...lol
Got some different eastern European cammies, a bunch of patches and other uniform stuff, some crazy accessories...Good Times!!
Y'all missed the fun days on Bragg. We had Blue Thunder, we had Red Dawn, we had the way superior first Top Gun, we had Sammy Hagar singing VOA, and we had Ronald Reagan as our CiC!
the US does have jets on par with the SU-57 (the hostile 5th gen they were talking about). the problem is that Mitchell should've died in this movie cuz there is no way a f-18 LET ALONE A TOMCAT would win in a dogfight against a SU-57, they'd need a F-22 and even then its only a fair fight. but glory to the plot armor i guess.
