1 ½ cups flour
1 cup finely chopped, toasted pecans
Pinch of salt
8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, room temperature
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup powdered sugar
Seeds of ½ a vanilla bean
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pizzelle Cookies
3 ½ cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
6 eggs
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup (8 ounces) butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon anise
Present Cookies
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 sticks (8 ounces) butter, room temperature
2 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Cookie Press Cookies
2 ¼ cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cloves
1 cup butter, room temperature
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ⅓ cup flour
¾ cup toasted almond flour

I have a pizzelle maker that was my grandmas and occasionally I’ll get it out and make ice cream cones with them. My own granddaughter enjoys making pizzelle waffles (she’s 14) so I know who I’m going to pass the pizzelle maker onto when it’s my turn to go. It’s lovely to see you baking with your mom ❤

The press cookies were a tradition in my family growing up, too!! Very nostalgic! ❤💚 My aunt even still has my grandma's metal cookie press that's probably 50 plus years old now

Having so many good recipes makes it hard to narrow down! But I would say my favs would be the Snowman Meringues and the Eggnog Sugar Cookies. Meringue cookies have been a longtime favorite of mine but I have never heard of eggnog cookies! I love cookies and I love eggnog so I hope I can make those! An eggnog flavored cookie……I’m drooling already lol 🤤

I used to be a chef and Baker and cake decorators so I think I have a connection to each type of these cookies with a backstory on most of them. The Snowballs without the powdered sugar on them are great for throwing basketballs into other people's mouths, not admitting to throwing cookie dough through the bakery. I was so ill during this time last year I didn't even think I was going to make it to this year

This is giving me good ideas for possible cookies to put in treat boxes. My mom and I have made little holiday treat boxes for family and friends for a couple years now.
The first cookie is very similar with a Christmas sweet that we have in Greece, called kourambies, but instead of pecan here we use whole or lightly crushed almonds! Happy holidays Ro! 🎄💖

First of all, THANK YOU for this! Second, all your outfits are gorgeous. My very favourite is the sweater and jeans from the linzer cookie recipe demo. But really, I love all the sweater ones. The dressy ones are beautiful, I may be influenced by living in a deep freeze at this time of year. 😃. Now I just have to decide which cookies I can make time to bake and send to my family!

This was awesome! Definitely do this next year. I'd say do a few cookies over a few days. Like 3 cookies for four days if it's too much for one video. All these cookies were great. I'm going to try most of them soon.

I love all your outfits but I'm more of a simplistic person so I loved the two red sweaters (the plain red and the one with the patterns) and the blue and white sweater with the little bit of red on it. A 40 minute Ro video when I can’t sleep? Yes please! And this reminds me when my family used to do cookie trades for the holidays. We’d all bake several different kinds of holiday cookies then get together and trade with each other. Those days were great. Don’t really do that much anymore though cuz everyone moved away over the years.
I like waffles so the waffle cookie looks pretty good (your mom is hilarious). Those ‘Linzer’ cookies remind me of a cookie that we used to make called ‘kolachis’ cuz my mom’s side has some Polish from her grandfather or great grandfather. Those were so good! Took no time at all to make and we’d make trays of them! To give away, to have around, for parties, I think we should make those again for this Christmas.
The Egg Nog cookies looked really cool but we don’t drink that anymore. Could you substitute another flavor for the egg nog? And the Grinch crinkle cookies were pretty darn good too! We’re not a big fan of pistachios either so I wonder what flavor could be used instead. I love the little heart decorations on them!
All the outfits looked great on you! If I had to choose I’d go for the first outfit, the red sweater, the green sweater with the lights and the last outfit. Red and green and white really say Christmas to me immediately. And yes, I think you should do this again next year, it was so much fun to watch! Totally up to you and what you want to do though!
