Dave's Gourmet came out with receipts showing they had paid her everything they agreed to and she couldn't keep up her end of the bargain. She then went on some talk show to verbally attack and bully someone who had done a review of the pink sauce she mailed in a plastic mailer in the summer when she produced it for herself.

I can suggest August the Duck, who made videos following the main events, including an extra video of him trying the sauce (which he luckily survived). I don't know if the pink sauce lady has at least improved her attitude now, about receiving feedback, and learned from the experience. The How To Cook That channel (by Ann Reardon) made a great analysis video on the situation with the pink sauce and figured out a proper recipe with exact proportions for it to look as it's supposed to, it was really educational, just like all her videos that analyse food science. Also, if you want a nice recipe with cucumbers, make an authentic tzatziki sauce: grate a cucumber, squeeze and drain the juices (or drink them, yummy and healthy), mix it with loads of strained greek yogurt (the thick one), olive oil, garlic to taste, a splash of vinegar to taste, salt and mix. Preferably leave it for at least an hour for the flavors to properly incorporate and then eat. It can be spread on bread or put on meat or be used as a dip
There is also polish mizeria, which is more similar to what's in video. Sliced cucumbers, sour cream, dill, and salt. You can also add lemon juice/vinegar, black pepper, sugar, other herbs, or tbh just whatever you want
btw the sprite milk and berries is actually hwachae (화채), a type of south korean punch that got rlly popular and there's ways to prepare it that are better than the tiktok 😭 ice cubes, watermelon cubes, blueberries, raspberries, fruit of your choice (sliced strawberries, diced mangoes, or diced banana. You could also put pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, and kiwi.), jelly cubes, popping boba, Sprite, strawberry milk/regular milk, a bit of sweetened condensed milk or ice cream if u want it's a little similar to falooda, a pakistani dessert but hwachae has a lot more fruit c:

It's actually meant to be more like a refreshing (yet sweet) punch that you eat the fruit along side to cool you off in the summer. Its traditionally made with with a lot of different fruits, even canned peaches, and you always scrape out all the watermelon and its juice to add to the milk, which is often strawberry flavored, and a lemon lime soda. Its amazing to have in the summer.
Could you give a true recipe for this, the way you enjoy it please? I've only ever seen the version she just did, and I haven't tried it yet, but what you are describing sounds WAY better and I would actually like to try it.

It's not necessarily additives. How aged cheese is and what type of cheese is rather important, with popular cheeses that can be bought pre-grated often being cheeses that don't melt easily. Use young Gouda cheese or generic pre-grated pizza cheese tend to melt quite well.

The second to last recipe had my texture issues going like crazy I was gaging and dry heaving. But the pink sauce and the no bake cheesecake sounded pretty good and I think with some adjustments a lot of the other recipes could have been better too. 😁

The first cucumber recipe could work really well but mix the dressing beforehand and just toss it in a bowl. We do have garlic and herbs cream cheese here and along with sour cream and the other ingredients, it would make for a very, very rich salad dressing.
For the mozzerella sticks if you put them in the freezer for about a half hour before cooking them it should work better. I have never done it with Taki, but have done it with crushed pork rinds this way.
11:00 we literally had an avocado tree in our yard a few years back, and our favorite way to eat it is to mush it up a bit with sugar (ripe ofc). And avocado milkshake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is a fan fav here in Sri Lanka. Yum!

For the cucumber recipe if you only wanted to use just one container, I'd mix all the sauce ingredients together then add a few cucumber and stir, then add the rest and you can shake it better. If you're okay with using an extra bowl mix the sauce in the bowl then stir in the cucumber and place in the storage container. Only thing I like shaking to mix is salads only if they don't have to much larger chunky things.
Idk anything about pink sauce lady, I see people saying she's problematic, but if you do make that happen I'd appreciate a vegan version. I might make that when I find some dragon fruit. 💕
I think it'd be pretty easy to make vegan, just gotta find your favourite vegan ranch then add dragon fruit and lemon. Dragon fruit powder might be easier to find!
The fruit bowl with the milk and sprite is actually a Korean thing called hwachae that became viral on tiktok some time ago. It can have a variety of fruits and I even saw it made with different flavoured milk. Supposed to be a very refreshing drink/snack in the summer :)
You should watch the video from Food Theory about the Pink Sauce. Mostly because I just find it a lot of fun. I wonder if it would be interesting to see what steps would make some of the bad recipes good, like if the fruit burger was made with thinner slices and more thought into how to make it a "burger". Or actual steps to make something with bread into an approximation of a donut.
The first cucumber recipe could work really well but mix the dressing beforehand and just toss it in a bowl. We do have garlic and herbs cream cheese here and along with sour cream and the other ingredients, it would make for a very, very rich salad dressing.

For the mozzerella sticks if you put them in the freezer for about a half hour before cooking them it should work better. I have never done it with Taki, but have done it with crushed pork rinds this way.

11:00 we literally had an avocado tree in our yard a few years back, and our favorite way to eat it is to mush it up a bit with sugar (ripe ofc). And avocado milkshake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is a fan fav here in Sri Lanka. Yum!

For the cucumber recipe if you only wanted to use just one container, I'd mix all the sauce ingredients together then add a few cucumber and stir, then add the rest and you can shake it better.
If you're okay with using an extra bowl mix the sauce in the bowl then stir in the cucumber and place in the storage container. Only thing I like shaking to mix is salads only if they don't have to much larger chunky things.

The Dave’s version was vegan. It was one of Chef Pi’s many complaints. She thought making it vegan ruined the sauce.
Most Asian food stores will have dragon fruit year round
I think it'd be pretty easy to make vegan, just gotta find your favourite vegan ranch then add dragon fruit and lemon. Dragon fruit powder might be easier to find!

The fruit bowl with the milk and sprite is actually a Korean thing called hwachae that became viral on tiktok some time ago. It can have a variety of fruits and I even saw it made with different flavoured milk. Supposed to be a very refreshing drink/snack in the summer :)
You should watch the video from Food Theory about the Pink Sauce. Mostly because I just find it a lot of fun. Mat both dives into a summary of the drama as it stood before the Walmart deal, which I'm sure you know by now from the comments is not at all how 'Chef' Pi paints it, as well as attempts to recreate the sauce alongside Steph because the label on the sauce bottles that were being shipped was hysterically inaccurate. It's a lot of fun and I know you and Mat are close, so I highly encourage it.
