And here be Ball, riding the elevator up to the 134th floor of the Tower of Corporate Babel which houses his current position. Ball currently works as a Model Analyst for a Pachinko company. He spends his waking hours looking over the numbers. Numbers which none of his coworkers can understand. Ball was told that he had a knack for numbers when he was younger. Ball is currently mulling over the results from a simulation of the latest Pachinko machine model between daydreams of less productive yet more entertaining things. Whether that be old college sports or the supple, pink-hued curve of his wife. Ball thinks he should be doing better at this point. He provides for his family, sure, but at the cost of his own sovereignty. Ball muses that if he is not his own, neither is his household. Ball constantly wishes to be something more. Not a thing to be kicked around at the whim of his superiors--placed on pedestals due to their dedication to the system. They gave their lives for unending capitalist limbo, sparked by their willingness to be mowed down by the industrial process like wheat to the farmer. Ball dreams to be like his grandfather, who was a bearing in the war. Even just a small part in the cause, Ball feels a longing for something like that. Ball dreams of his size increasing on orders of magnitude so that his weight would truly be felt should he choose to throw it around. Strung from a large metal crane, Ball wishes to smash the walls that cage him in. Ball dreams all he had to keep him entertained away from the gaze of his boss wasn't just a simple puzzle game. Its noises and colors stemming trance-inducing boredom just barely. Ball dreams.
Taito, now that's a company name I haven't heard in a while. Super Nova (Darius Force) was actually one of the first games I ever got for my SNES as a youth. This game looks sick tho.
How can It be that I only found your channel now? And this is first vídeo I watch. Finished this game. On the Ball is really really good! Taito's greatest hidden gem IMO. Perfect Review! You deserve + Subscribers!!
A more fun version of marble madness? I'd play that. It does make you wonder what potential games were cannibalized to create the backgrounds. It's almost as if they named the stages and just kind of went to their digital trash to see what was closest.
@@NostalgiaWound You replied! I can now succumb to my med-resistant AIDS and shuffle off this mortal coil happy. On the real though; the Common Filth t-shirts aren't still available are they? I need another one.
These sort of marble games are grossly underrated. I remember 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the rescue for the ps1 had a really fun marble game of a similar quality that I played more than the base game lol.
While you're elevating your breakfast game, do you think the fact you subject yourself to the fooo output of American industries lowest common denominator caste provides you in part with the perspective you have into it's inner workings? Diet is important and if you aren't using it for health, you may as well use it to come to an understanding of your place in the world.
Hey man you should seriously consider doing a review of the game known as ACT RAISER it covers a lot themes in your "sphere" you would find a lot to say about it.
You were on the ball with this review.

Is there a Serbia GP?
No but there is a Serbia battle royal game that came out around the same time this one did
Are you on the Ball?
Get on the Ball, and you'll never have to pour or measure detergent again.

The Virgin scores of shitty attempts at snarky, anthropomorphic animal video game mascots vs. The Chad literal ball
