Fallout as a video game series establishes a post-apocalyptic world based on a retro-50s and early 60s Americana feel. The timeline of the Fallout universe diverges after WWII. At the time of the nuclear war, the world is suffering from resource shortages - which is what triggers the war. The games (and the show) take place some 200 years after the war. The Vaults, in the world lore, consists of two types: the "control" vaults that are normal, and vaults where VaultTec (the company that built them) conducts atrocious experiments. The trailers so far have only shown the "control" type vaults. The Brotherhood of Steel is a military-style organization that is focused on acquiring technology, mostly to protect mankind from developing tech that would cause another catastrophe. Local chapters of the Brotherhood across the wastelands of America have varying degrees of involvement with the locals. The ghouls are survivors of the war that were irradiated. There are two types: feral, which are like what you see in most zombie movies, and ones that still retain some measure of their humanity, like the one you see in the trailer (Walton Goggins). Since this is set in California, other major players are the NCR (New California Republic), raiders (sort of your Mad Max opportunists), and regular survivors just trying to get by. ps: The song in the tailer is by the Inkspots and is iconic for being the theme song for the game Fallout 3.

I was just going to put some of this information here, but you beat me to it! Good job you did too, because this was way more thorough than I could've done! lol I would only add that personally, all the old music and dark humor are my favorite components of the Fallout world.
The Brotherhood of Steel don't enforce law and order at all. They don't come to rule over anyone either. They are a militant organization, but they are only concerned with acquiring and hoarding technology, whether that be a location or weapons or whatever else. Seems like you have everything else in the right context though.

@@TarunpreetKaurGill If they stay true to the series, every faction is both good and bad. They have clear goals that benefit everyone, but with them comes bad ideas, bigotry, greed, abuse of power, and all manner of bad things. There is no one to check power in this world, except other powers.

@@TarunpreetKaurGill There is so much story and lore in the games (the series began in 1997 with Fallout, then FO2, FO3, FO: New Vegas, FO4, the online multiplayer Fallout 76, Fallout Tactics, Fallout Brotherhood of Steel, the board game, a mobile Vault shelter game and a new Magic the Gathering card set) that it could definitely last as long as there's money to film it and an audience to watch it. I hope you enjoy it!
