Actually the best Fuji View in Japan | Obuchi Sasaba Tea Fields in Shizuoka, Japan

In today's Japan travel vlog, we take a look at the most beautiful viewpoint of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture. Obuchi Sasaba is a beautiful green tea plantation, not only producing some quality Matcha and teas, but also providing a stunning backdrop to one of Japan's most iconic landmarks: Mount Fuji. Follow along as we explore this very off the beaten path travel destination in Japan!

Take the JR Tokaido line all the way to JR Fuji Station. Then transfer for the bus going into the direction: 曽比奈・曽比奈上 and get off at the stop 曽比奈下. From there, it is best to copy 大淵笹葉 into Google Maps and walk for around 20 minutes until you reach the tea fields. I would also recommend taking a picture of the timetable, so you know when buses return to Fuji Station (which can be infrequent).
