The best view of Mt Fuji from a $110 hotel room - Kawaguchiko, Japan
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 лют 2019
- Welp. I think I've got a new favourite place in Japan. Kawaguchiko just blew all my expectations out of the water (and the view from my hotel was pretty great too). The view was worth far more than the price I paid for it!

Sorry about all the weird focus issues. I'm still getting used to my camera but I think I've figured it out now. Hopefully.

So BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! Such a great video. Can't wait to see the sunrise.
You do amazing work Hannah! I love all your videos but this one has to be one of my favorites! From your bubbling personality, to the excellent choice of music and the outstanding video work, I am blown away! I can’t wait to see what you have for us on the second day!
Your videos are soooo good Hannah, keep it up! Really loving the flow and vibes
Stunning! You had me at the first frame. ❤️
I have been watching your videos for a while now and your skills in camera work and editing are really coming along fantastically ! Keep up the great work, you have no reasons for self doubt. Still enjoy your unique take on things.
Another amazing video Hannah. Your cinematography skills are evolving fast. Well done. This was a very moving piece for me. It has made me rethink my trip back to Tokyo in May. Thanks and keep doing what you do. G
I loved your vlog so so much, Hannah! Such exhilarating views! I am sure the experience in-person would have been equally breath-taking.
Love your videos. Keep smashing out the experiences and share the goodness. Thanks
Great video with some stunning shots! Thanks for all your work to share it with us.
absolutely stunning! just watched 3 times already, so amazed, such clear shots! thank you for taking us there with you this way!
Thank you so much! This really means a lot
Beautiful views and vlog! Love the simplicity of your video editing and the music! Keep it up!
Absolutely gorgeous cinematography, stunning views and scenery, totally love the editing too, roll on part 2, can't wait, woohoo!
Thank you so much!
Thanks Hannah. Another beautiful video with great edits and supportive audio. What CAN'T you do!
Focus the camera properly hahahah
I just started the video and instantly felt soooo much nostalgia... I stayed for 2 days in Kawaguchiko last November (1 month in Japan), and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Walking through those same streets, seeing the same views in person was so incredible. It's not an overstatement to say it was a dream come true.
I actually sat by the trail surrounding the lake very close to the Komaya for about 2 hours, just looking at the lake, the ducks and the mountain. I need to go back there... Actually if my nostalgia keeps on ramping up the way it has until today, I might end up moving to Japan, everything about that trip was incredible.
BTW good luck with the sunrise, I tried the same but the fog was so dense I couldn't see 50m in front of me. Cleared up until about 10 am
Beautiful place! I'm looking forward to going back in the summer to cool off from the steamy Kofu weather. You were talking about sunrise versus sunset and I wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the sunset views of Fuji-san here in Kofu. After there is some snow on the mountain it almost always glows a little bit pink when the last rays of the day hit it. SO gorgeous! I will miss it, for sure. Thanks again for your great videos, Hannah!
This is so perfect! I am going to be staying in Kawaguchiko in March for 6 days. This video really re-energizes my wanderlust for Kawaguchiko. Thank you so much for this video!
Loved Kawaguchiko. Went there a few times in winter and spring. The energy in your video is so infectious. Beautiful shots too.
Legit eye for composition! Really like the way you shoot through things, makes you feel there (i wish!!!!) Glad i found this channel!
Thank you for making this video 💕 it was the reason I decided to visit Kawaguchiko and I got to make so many happy memories there!
Thanks for another beautiful video! These are so calming to watch. It's informative art!
Love your work, Hannah! Your drone shots are epic and I love all those gorgeous little detail, filler shots. Sad to hear you are leaving Japan soon. Hopefully you'll do many more videos before you go. And no doubt your next adventures will be awesome, too.
Absolutely STUNNING Hannah! And the music.....GAAAAHHH!!! Thank you so much. You have become quite the artist when it comes to these vlogs. Funny to look back at where you started (or at least when I discovered your vlogs). Amazing stuff! I know you are not feeling well as you read this so please get well soon. #prayers
Thanks so much! I'm feeling a lot better these days, just contagious so I gotta stay inside haha.
That drone footage is just incredible! 😍😍
Excellent vid Hannah, wonderful editing.
Amazing views, very picturesque and quiet an informative vlog. Two of the reasons why I love your channel ... great content and love your outgoing personality! Blessings! 🙂👍🏾🎎⛩💕
Thank you!
one of your silent viewer. Just wanted to say, you have the best bg music! love it!
I'm genuinely excited when I see one of your vlogs pop up in the subscriptions box. I know you've been working on your cinematography and you're absolutely smashing it now, bar that AF mishap ahaha.
Seriously though, some fantastic shots, well filmed. The B-roll on the train through the drivers cabin was beautiful.
You create some of the best travel content out there without it being some cheesily unrealistic #wanderlust rubbish.
Thank you so much. That really means a lot! And yes I try hard to steer well clear of #wanderlust #influencer #blueasswater content so I’m glad you can see it too haha
Paraphrasing the great H. Price, holly crap!.. Absolutely loved the first 5 minutes or so⃰ , with your usual top shelf photographer's eye but also with that funky editing and a spot-on soundtrack... (Fuji-san doing its super-model thing on the day) 😘👌
*: very much liked the rest too, it's just that that was extra inspired
I think I fell in love with you after this video.
The drone shot, music, editing
Its like a movie
It really gives me peace
Thanks always for your awesome videos :)
The footage you captured is so stunning I just want to cry over it. It makes me want to hop on a plane and go there right now.
Thanks Karen! The stunning view makes it easier to film for sure.
So excited for the 2nd video 😱😍
Sweet vlog mate, missed out on my annual Japan travels, so I'll be binging on your vlogs :3
Wow. This is so incredibly breathtaking. I’m in love!
Thanks for putting this out even though you’ve been unwell. Get well soon 🖖🏻
Your videos are so relaxing and beautiful keep it up!
Opening and the closing shot 💟 were so amazing.
I love the snow *snow intensifies* "WITNESS ME" hahaha 🤣
Hahahaha I loled
What a great video! Thank you for posting such fantastic content
A beautiful view like that and 1 degree outside? Perfect!
so beautiful, looking forward for day 2.
Your videos are getting better and better. So beautiful. I loved it. Thanks for sharing.
Your videos are even artistic.
i love this video, so relaxing to watch.
I'm planning a trip to Japan in a couple years & I'm so inspired by this video. I've been dreaming of seeing Fuji-san my whole life! I'm gonna have the same reaction as you ahhhhhhhh =)
So much hype for this video. Kawaguchiko is my favourite place in Japan!
Can't wait for day 2!
You know how to create the right mood in a video. I'm super nostalgic right now 🥺
Hahaha happy to hear it!
The screaming goat was the perfect touch...your amazing video made my day!😀
Screaming goats are the cherry on top!
Great video Hannah as always!
Thank you!
Truly breathtaking. We saw Mt. Fuji many years ago now (like 2007) and it really is a spectacular sight to behold. I think we went to the same temple/shrine/pagoda place too. But our hotel definitely didn't have the same view as yours.
Within my narrow scope, I've seen Fuji-san refuse views of her snowy slopes to many UA-camrs, and this has to be the best view I've seen anywhere. Great video!
definitely one of my top 3 places in all of japan too. btw, AF track sens - standard + AF drive speed - normal + zone focus mode on AF-C and face priority will solve your autofocus problems ;)
THANK YOU! I’ve been playing around with different settings for the past few weeks but hadn’t figured it out yet hahaha.
Dreams do come true! I’ve not been there but have been to Kawaguchiko and yes, Mt Fuji is simply awesome ❄️🗻❄️
Yeah it was more amazing than I imagined it would be!
Your editing and cinematography is beautiful ☺
IDK what I like better the video or the music. Looking at that mountain with the music playing just took me somewhere deep.
I got so emotional just by watching this video.... Fuji-san really is majestic! I'll be visiting Kawaguchiko in late October. Hopefully it'll be visible on the day!
What a great video! Epic shots!
WOW!!!! thanks for the video! This place is definitely on my list now!! I did hakone a few weekends ago and that was amazing. One awesome part is the amount of snow that is there! I need to go :-) A nice clear view of fuji as well! amazing! thank you again
I envy you so much! I had one day in Kawaguchiko in August 2017 and really wanted to see Mt Fuji, but of course the whole thing was covered in clouds! But you could still tell it was HUGE - even the base was!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh makes me want to go back and visit so badly! So beautiful
best Fuji vlog ever
such outstanding filming and editing fantastic and such a beautiful place that Temple looked straight out of picture book stunning love the room stay safe looking forward to pt 2 enjoy yourself see ya
Wow! What a perfect looking day, so awesome. I've always wanted to tourJapan during their cherry blossom season. Watch the space..
I was actually upset you split this in to two videos😂 you’re content is SO GOOD!!! everything was so beautiful 😍 I loved the drone footage so much!
Hahaa I thought about putting it all together but it would’ve been so long!
So that view (Mt. Fuji and a five story pagoda) is real! This vlog is replete with magnificent views of Mt. Fuji and is my very fav upload by you! Totally impressed!
Thank you! That means a lot!
Hannah, this is one of most beautiful and elegantly touching youtube videos I’ve ever seen. Thank you for this, thank you for your hard work, thank you for all the reality and beauty that you share with us. I’m only one person among a mass of followers, but I want to say you that I love what you do and I love how you luminous soul is. Hugs from the south of Spain.
I saw the title & figured that the best way to begin celebrating my birthday today was to watch the full majestic beauty of this vlog of Mt. Fuji is on a 40 ft IMAX screen (in my VR headset). Thank you for this wonderful birthday present Hannah & hope you feel better soon!
Hahaha I like your commitment! I hope it did the VR justice. Happy Birthday btw!
@@CurrentlyHannah Thank you for the birthday shout out Hannah! Yes the VR IMAX view made me see all the marvelous landscapes in such close detail. Even the Miyazaki susuwataris (soot sprites) made some cameos from being on the the sensors of the camera in a few shots. Maybe it was those little devious soot gremlins causing all those focus troubles LOL
Great aerial footage!
Love your enthusiasm!
Now that’s the way to capture a “Wow” moment. Beautiful, just beautiful. I hope you could see Mt. Fuji while relaxing in the onsen. #🗻
Love it when you were playing in the snow infront of Fuji-san.
Hehe me too!
Gorgeous view!!! Wow 😍
This place looks amazing!!!!
Great video! We’ve found it while researching Japan as we’re planning a three week holiday there this summer. You’ve sold us this place 😂 so we’ve slightly changed our original plans and booked a room in this place! Thank you very much for inspiration! 🙂
Wow!! The View of the Mt. Fuji next to the small town is toooo stunning and incredible!! Especially the way you filmed it above the lake is pretty cool!!! Good job Hannah! Looking forward to watching the upcoming video 🤩🤩🤩
Always enjoy your videos, you have a nice character and your filming style is very artistic. I noticed you had to go to higher location to get a shot of Mt. Fuji with power lines in the foreground. That's the only thing I still haven't gotten use to after being here six years. Thanks very much, please keep up your wonderful and unique videos!
Omg I was looking at the date you posted this. I was in Japan that very same month and week. I remember when it snowed lightly in Tokyo that week. Makes me mad that I didn't get to see this. Next trip though . Thanks for sharing..
The framing in that ryokan window shot!!!!!
Like you said..."Wow." Thanks for taking us along...
Lovely and the music is just..never tire of rewatching that, already on insta. Get well soon! :)
Thanks girl!
I had to go back at watch the goat scream for a 3rd time. Too perfect
I went there just before lockdown, by bus also, because of this video. A day I will never forget. Totally cloudless views of The Volcano : )
Omg wowwww I’ve got to add this to my list! 🤩
Please do :)
So beautiful. Thanks for your video.
Thank you so much for this great video of "my Fujisan" :-)
It is cool to see the same place through different "JVloggers" eyes. Perspective and time of year make them different, but all show the great beauty of the area. You are at ease in front of the camera and you are a wonderful story teller. Also: thanks for responding to my question/statement on your "live Stream" (about Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park in USA). You do the live stream well, so would love to see more of that.
If you can pull off another "last Day at work" like you did at Universal, that would be epic and fun to see.
Thanks! Also I’m not sure I could do another video like I did at Universal, unfortunately, but I’ll definitely do something for it!
We are coming to Japan in April and was planning to arrive by train from Tokyo and drive from Hakone to see Mt Fuji, but I might just have to change my plans now! This place looks amazing! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Kawaguchiko is more worth going than Hakone. Hakone need long train rides to go up Mt.Hakone. Which can be tiring. I'll rate Kawaguchio as 9.5/10 and Hakone as 7/10.
Wonderful video! Very nice combination of view and drone shots. Actually I visited the temple with 5 story pagoda. It is very beautiful place for Fuji-mi. But unfortunately I could not see any of Fuji-San. I would like to go there again. Thank for your very nice video.
Amazing! Well done Hannah. I can't wait to visit there. We are landing in haneda next week. We can't wait! Hmmm, now we are thinking of visiting that area now 😂. Mahalo from Hawaii.
Stunning!
that looks so beautiful, I am so jealous of your views. I went there during the summer and i only got to see Mt Fuji for about 15-20 minutes before it vanished behind the clouds. This video makes me want to go when there is snow on the ground
Yeah I’ve heard that summer season can make it a little hard to see Mt Fuji cuz it’s usually hazy. Winter is generally clear though, so I can recommend this season for sure!
Gorgeous and inspiring work. Maybe 2020 spring festival 😍🗻❤️
...great view from your ryokan..can never have a bad shot with the landscape around you..富士山は息をのむようです!
Last time i went there was during the summer, it was great. Love the place. But after seeing your video i really wanted to go during winter time 🙏🏾
I love this video, Hannah.
Miss Japan 😭😭❤️❤️
Yup, magical.
It's so beautiful!
wow wow wow wow!!! this place is beautiful.
It truly is!
What an intro! Amazing videography!
Amazing videos as allways😍❤️
Thank you!
Beautiful video!
