Black women With her hair type do not wear wigs or braids because they have no hair. That’s the only reason you would wear it so you are assuming the same applies….common mistake.
If she didn’t wear them her hair likely wouldn’t be as healthy. Our hair is very delicate and breaks easily, especially if styled with any heat , or even just manipulated too much every day. Or just tension and pulling on it too much. The “break” your hair gets is why wigs abd brauds are called “protective styling”. I really wish people (even black men sometimes) didn’t think we wear wigs and extension Bc somethings wrong with our hair lol. We’re just taking care of it.
