My answer has always been 12 (thinking that the water would be dripping in slowly over time) but with more water coming in faster if you hadn't slowed down #1 would've been filled first. Great video👍
Technically 12 will not fill up first if he had not blocked off 9 and 6

To everyone complaining about 9 & 6: He blocked then because they are blocked on the diagram. Go look at it @0:12. He even circled it.
Not true. He drew a big circle with a question mark at the intersection below 8 indicating that he didn't know which direction the water would flow. The reason the liquid flowed into 12 instead of 6 is because the pipe was at an angle, which seems to be a major flaw in this test. I don't understand why he blocked the pipe from 3 to 9 either because it made 9, 10, and 11 completely obsolete.
@@Noahmadic nine is blocked from three, look at the wall of the nine bucket in the diagram. Also, water did not flow to six because of the wall being blocked at the six bucket. The air in the pipe between 8 and 6 is trapped because it has nowhere to go. It wasn't because of the angle.

word yo, the tube on the bottom right of box 3 should have been spilling into box 9 but for "some weird reason" it doesnt go through the tube and fills box number 3 to mid level amd then goes through the tube into box number 4, that's bogus, haha, clearly as the fluid rises up from the lowest it should spill out and into the first opening / hole, but its not, either is was blocked or something, but the experiment is inaccurate untill all the tubes and holes are unclogged or something, he should have tested it out to see if all the tubes were fully open amd fully functional untill he did the experiment for real, cool little experiment tho, gonna have to try this one out myself, haha

Exactly. 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 9 (because 3-9 is lower than 3-4), 9 to 11 (because 9-11 is lower than 3-4, actually 9-11 is lower than anything because it's at the bottom).

This is my favorite part of Science: the demonstration of hypotheses in experiments.
Based on the diagram 11 tank 11 should be the first one that fills with the water flow being a trickle and the tanks slowly filling that way.

@@nimenime3613 I only watched about 30 seconds of it I was going on no pipes being blocked on the diagram but when he started bringing out all those Tupperware containers I moved on so I don't know what happened in the actual demonstration.

The tube connector for buckets 8, 6, and 12 is tilted right, making the liquid go to only bucket 12 instead of buckets 12 and 6, so super-gluing some support from behind to keep it fully straight and level would make the results much more accurate. Also, the tube going to bucket 6 is rounded like a rainbow, so even if the tube connector was level, the tubes going to buckets 6 and 12 would have to be fully straight and level.
I just noticed that bucket 6 is blocked, so even after these modifications bucket number 12 would still probably fill-up first. My bad.

The Einstein diagram shows that number 3 nozzle to number 9 is blocked and number 8 nozzle to number 6 is blocked. So now it's evident that all the liquid will flow towards number 4 and number 8 and then eventually to number 12.
The only issue on the diagram is that why just not draw the blocked pipe? It's so confused to draw a plugged pipe instead of draw nothing. Any reason? Or just a trick for those who didn't look carefully?
So we're not going to discuss why he must have plugged the bottom right side of number 3, leading to number 9, then ultimately the winning number 11?

I was wrong, 11 by design will never get a single drop because the connection from 3 to 9 is blocked on paper and in the experiment. See 3:21 for proof.

the tube leading to the sixth is diagonal unlike the original drawing therefore that's why it went to 12
In reality the tube is blocked, because that one can't be filled, if you check the draw #6 is blocked on the connection so he block it a little earlier but in the end 12 would be the answer anyway.

He was able to deduce that the liquid will go from tank 3 to tank 4 because the pipe leading to tank 9 is blocked, why he couldn't deduce the same thing at tank 8? Or maybe... Just been thinking about an idea that I know you could pull off and I would totally need one of you made it. On ps5 GT7 you can use the controller like a steering wheel, you could make a mount with a bearing in it to act as the steering then make pedals with a lever system to pull the controller triggers for the braking and accelerator, and possibly some panels on the back of the mount to change gears up and down. I can imagine this in my head but lack tools or know how to make one myself but thought you might be able to do it.

the reason the experiment didn't work was because the containers did not have lids or vacuum tight that means their is an equal exchange between water and air just like a Roman fountain

It's a wrong experiment 11 should be the first one to be filled , I think there is something blocking water from filling 9 . (that's what I think you can re do it and the result might change )
