Cheers better Geoff, look forward to your picks! Well worth grabbing Cotswolds if you can, their Brand ambassador was saying how international it has become so hopefully it comes past your door soon. Cheers!
haha glad you liked it Ryan, I planned on making it look better and aligning the faces etc but thought the dodgy editing was funnier! Slap on and Cheers!
Cheers for taking on the challenge pal! Glad to see some Irish in the runners up! (surprised at no Dingle) but that Cotswolds sounds like a tremendous dram!
HOW DID I FORGET DINGLE! Absolutely love that stuff, well and truly could have been a contender for the top spot! Cheers for challenging buddy, keep slapping!
There was a lot of bottles to pickI really wish I gave myself more time to pick my choices, missed so many great ones! What would be your go two? Cheers!
Looking back after a month, it is still a whisky that I would pick. Interesting choice with the Laph 10 at the higher proof, I would love to try it at 43%.
Great question. Well, Cotswolds' Signature has been my go-to because of the price at £30 and for the quality, now on my 5th bottle. Lovely stuff. Spingbank 10 is up there because I love an oily whisky. I just can't find and afford it anymore. So I'm torn between Red Breast 12 and Glencadam 10. I had a brilliant Glen Moray 15 3 yrs ago as a gift. That was fantastic, and it doesn't receive much praise or any reviews. I love your content, especially the clips.
@@Lammys_Dram The Glencadam 10 is a good shout, it is something I really need to try more as had the odd sample but yet to fully commit. I think Glen Moray is starting to get a bit of light on it, possibly could be the next Speyburn? will keep my eyes out for the 15. Cheers!
Cheers Jez! Was it the Cotswold Signature? Truly lovely stuff and their other bottles are banging too, like the Founders Choice. Cheers to the next one! 🥃
@@JeffWhisky yes it was Jeff. £30 from a well known supermarket! Best bang for your buck at that price. You’ve got me in desperate need of getting hold of a bottle of the Laphroaig now too. Sounds immense.
@@jezhellewell7690 The Laphroaig is really banging, keep an eye out for offers, I got mine during the King's Coronation in the UK as it is his favourite distillery so had a hefty discount! Cheers
Hey glad you did the challenge. You convinced me to try a few of your runner ups, as I drink more bourbon, but am trying to expand my palate. Never had your pick. Will have to add to my list. thanks for sharing. cheers.
Just watched your choice and seems solid from the description! I am trying to expand more into Bourbon so be great to hear your thoughts on easier to find alternatives! Cheers.
Nice picks Jeff and yes that Cotswolds is absolutely delicious! I think I might go for the Founder's Choice if I have to pick one from them, just so I can play around with it a bit more :)
That is a good shout with the Founders choice. I even had a bottle behind me and I didn't think about it... the dangers of diving in without thinking! Cheers!
Great choice, I expected to see the Dingle though?? I would go for Springbank 12 Cask Strength. Batch variation, high proof and always delicious. Slàinte mhath
I think variation is key for this challenge, as while the base notes are there you will quickly master them while still getting excitement from the variation! Cheers Nordic Malt!
Difficult challenge, Mr. Slapper. As we all know: every day your favorite food will not last long to be your favorite. Can come up with several candidates myself (Ardbeg 10, Springbank 10, some great IB's I have). Think I just cheat and keep some extra options hidden in the cabinet. Slàinte mhath
Cheers Lord Peathead, I did originally include a nametag on the Gandalf Lord of the Rings clip which said "Peathead" as a nod to you, however it didn't come out in the export. Slàinte mhath
Not tried it yet but only heard great things, is it the Green label or purple label you would pick? I guess the beauty in this challenge it could include both. Cheers Liam!
Definitely the Green one if could take only one bottle can still get it at auction for £120 in England a fine dram hopefully your get a bottle purple one is good dram too
@@JeffWhisky I dont know, cant be one bottle only, like I said, so I'll have to think more about it...typically the kinda video I will not do as consistency IS an issue & even more in long time plan...that said, if I had to choose say just 3, it should include a blended whisky in there, as it is more "versatile" in a way...
Wild turkey 101 would be my whiskey for life. Mainly for flavour price balance. Firstly i didn't liked your videos, but now i changed my mind. Thanks 🙏
Wild Turkey 101 is a great shout for just one bottle, have you tried Rare Breed? Glad to hear you have changed your mind and hope you are here to stay. Cheers!
I think if I didn't have my channel I could easily enjoy one whisky over a month and then move on to a new one after that. Variety is the spice of life though
Cheers Dram Dribbler! I think if Kilkerran was more available and maybe slightly cheaper it could have been number one. The Port was also in the running . Cheers!
It really is a headscracter, think that is why I felt best to fly through it quickly and go with my first thoughts. I am already changing my mind since, what would you pick Tim?
@@JeffWhisky It's a bit of a mixed bag because TheWhiskyNerd mentions no exclusivity but then goes on to mention blue spot. I will go with what I've had before, I think that should be a limiting factor as well. My first pick would be springbank 10 but imo that that is also exclusive (as would any campbeltown be). The next problem becomes, peaty or not peaty. Doing 1 in each category, fair but to not have you enjoy both is quite the masochist move. I will go with craigellachie 13 for now. It has a bit of both. Also, just like peathead I'd just cheat n mooch 😆.
👋 Really great stuff good info. Have you seen or heard about DS Tayman ? They bottle 12 Year Linkwood , as well as Blair Athol , and Caol Ila. I was curious if you could review any DS Tayman. Thanks 👋
Hey @nairbjc I have heard of it but yet to try any of it. I will keep my eyes out for any offers on them, the Linkwood and Caol Ila are on my watch list! Cheers for watching!

Mr Jimmy Leg, the people don't lie. Pure liquid gold!
Great picks! Everyone loves an Ardnamurchan.
There certainly is plenty of hype around it! But I do think so for good reason! Cheers.
