Man I just want to tell you how much I love your channel and all the videos I've seen so far on it. I'm a wannabe whisky enthusiast from India. I have no idea why you dont have more people following you. The whisky you speak about in your videos are quite the variety. The smoky whisky alone had so many good ones. Keep these coming. I can feel your passion in each of your video.
Fantastic Challenge selection , I have all the bottles from the one whisky on my shelves , Deanston 18 is a perma bottle for me , I would have to toss a coin between the 18 and my Glen Scotia 15 for my one whisky . ummmmmmmm .
Glencadam, is an amazing choice and Paul John will always be available Indian Port charlotte heavily peated is anyday is greatest thing the sweetness with smoke is muah. Ledaig is is synthetic but natural, something you want to drink. Some amazing choices. I will get more drunk than I can handle. Deanston can be drunk without getting bored. Enjoy Cheers
Do you have any idea how disingenuous I seem when I say Laphroaig 25 might be the best dram I’ve ever had? Especially cause I’ve had it just once courtesy you.. enjoying this video, an education beyond the pipers of usual whiskeytubia. Also had wee beastie recently and man! Though a little half baked it hits the spot alright.
For value and availability I'd go with Loch Lomond 18. I want to like Glencadam because of the quality of their spirit, but the white port finish was the only one that I really enjoyed. I think my time with bourbon has just tapped me out on the baking spice flavors
Solid solid pick dude, no one can dispute it. I had the Tun a few years back when a friend sampled it out to our whisky group and that was the first and only time I said WOW to a Balvenie. Generally I think they make good whisky but that Tun was in a league of it's own, superb whisky.
Sorry, if this is weird, but I’ve been watching your videos a lot recently and I had a dream last night that you were my next door neighbor and you had me over and showed me the collection and I was in awe. That was a real dream.
Never saw that coming, nice whisky love Deanston. As i said to Geoff mine is Tobermory 17 Madeira finish. the only dram I have spent over £100-00 pounds on, £135 -00 as it was. Could be happy with the arran quarter cask for the long haul :-)
Great list MA and I wholeheartedly agree with Glencadam 10, Ledaig 10. I was expecting one of the Arrans to make your list. I love a recent interaction and experience with Tobermory 12 which is a very pleasant dram. My one and only if it came down to that, would have to be Glen Scotia 15.
If I’ve never had a balvenie would you suggest the 12 as a decent place to start.. also is Jura worthwhile. Have you had lucifers gold? I tried the classic laddie recently by bruichladdich but found it off putting. I saw recently that all paul johns are available here in delhi now (gurgaon precisely)
WHERES MALT ACTIVIST? We need MALT ACTIVIST!!!

Great list and fun video! Without spoiling the #1, I completely agree. I was very impressed with it. So vibrant and fantastic layers. Cheers!
No content for quite a while, Mr Activist. Hope everything is ok

Glad you agree!
Yo bro get back to making vids we love your content
Solid picks my friend. I just added a few to my must try list.

Still have a lot of the Laphroaig 25 left
You should try the old Highland Park 30..... Or the old Talisker 25 pre 2012....now that was a heck of a dram....
@@theseeker3771 I'm sure they were -- old school whiskies ---- that's the jam!
Fantastic! Give me Ardbeg 25 or Ardbeg Corryvreckan.
Good call
Hell of a list. Wow. Solid pick though and I would gladly sip along with you with that unlimited source of great Scotch. Cheers!
Right on!
That's a very easy challenge.
Port Charlotte PC10.
Great content MA ❤
Thank you 🙌

Have you tried Tamdu Cigar Malt 3?
Where have you been?!
Ditto?
I'm busy with an overseas project for my firm so hardly any time for UA-cam
@@MaltActivist Balance is good! Just making sure you’re ok!
Happy to read that you are ok, looking forward for your next videos@@MaltActivist

sir, you got me to subscribe to your channel with one word: quaff! I love that old world, pre-railroad word for chug. love it.
hahaha I had no idea it was an old timey word -- maybe I'm old timey and don't realize it
Sorry, if this is weird, but I’ve been watching your videos a lot recently and I had a dream last night that you were my next door neighbor and you had me over and showed me the collection and I was in awe. That was a real dream.
Haha if you're ever in my neck of the woods perhaps we can turn that dream into reality!
@@MaltActivist No way, which state are you in, if you don't mind me asking.

Love the Arran QC

I'll have to revisit the Glen Scotia 15
Ledaig 10!! Agreed, punches way above its price.
It sure does!
Hi MA, great list’s for sure. I’d be happy to drink Benromach CS if it was the only whisky. Slàinte
Good call!
“Still” waiting on you to come back….
It's been 4 months, where are you??? Comebackk
I'll be back before the year ends!!!!
Sir kindly review some affordable whiskies too

Balvenie 12 Double Wood is one of my favorites. I don't like Jura. Not had Lucifer's Gold.
No sherry on the Ledaig 10, that's the 18. Ledaig 10 is 100% ex-bourbon.
Springbank 25 & Deanston 18 …if they still made the Laphroaig 18 I would throw that in there! Nursing that bottle…
Ooh that's a good one
After seeing your reviews on ardbeg
I became fan of it sadly in India only weebestie available in my city
Next review Ardbeg Anamorphic...no???
yes, on the way!
Where are you man i miss you? hope you are good....cheers !!!
Working! Have an overseas project so scarcely any time for UA-cam
