Painting a Musky Lure| Secret tip to make your Jake Crankbait stand out!

you make it look so easy! I think it turned out very nice........ do you sand off the original coating and color to start with??

It depends on the what the bait looks like. If I'm repurposing an old or the blank I'm using looks like it needs it then yes. Most of the time when I'm painting a blank, I don't need too though and havn't had it hinder my results too bad. Hope this helps!

The tip I’m using currently is a 0.35 tip. I’ve used a 0.25 before and didn’t like it as much
