I've used them all. True coat, amazing, west coat systems. The best to this day for me is 2 ton.

Why has 2ton worked the best for you? Never used it

Ive used BSI, Devcon, noname UV resin, and TrueCoat. Of those, I prefer TrueCoat because it has a good amount of working time and flows over the lure well. Devcon, if stored more than a few months (indoor conditioned space) has solidified in the bottle and had to be placed in hot water to melt back to a usable state. BSI has worked well for me but has a much shorter working time than TrueCoat. I have a couple lure turners so extended working times are a bonus for me. I missed the working time for your Amazing Clear Cast the first time around due to a distraction, so I backup up and re-watched. 40 minutes or so is nice, as you can coat multiple lures with one batch. I too like to use at least two coats for the final finish, with a glitter or mica powder in the first layer. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the input! I’ve had really good luck with amazing clear cast so far. I will be switching the the plus version once I run out of this batch. The plus version is UV anti yellowing

My upcoming project needs it. I am deciding between true coat and amazing clear cast. Can you speak louder ?

@@veoveo843 I can't speak for Amazing Clear Cast because I've never use it. But the process for TrueCoat is the very same as DH explained in this video, with one exception that I noticed, TrueCoat recommends mixing for 4 to 5 minutes.

@@mike1261 true coat I've heard a lot about it. The mixing ratio needs to be 100% accurate? How long is its working time? can i contact you by face ?

@@DH_Baits you do a great job. what is its mixing ratio and working time. I used to use BSI 30min but the working time is too short. can you share with me?

I stopped using Amazing Clear cast...I found that it sags too much.... I got lots of material on the bottom of the lure after rotating...TrueCoat starts to set up in eight hours

I haven’t had any issues with sagging but I usually wait until it gets a little tacky to put it on. Usually 10-15 minutes. Maybe that’s why? I’ll check out TrueCoat though for sure. Thanks for watching!

You've put too much on the first layer/first run, bigger resin layer under can also be caused by to slow spinning.. because your gravity isnt right, it should not happen if it rotates, should be evenly... you can also thin it up with den. alcohol and do two thin layers, always better as one thick layer.
