Was looking at getting something like this. Ended getting a bison 2 android 12 phone and cheap 4k60 action cam with USB video out. Still waiting for all the bits to arrive to properly test it out. Phone is bigger brighter faster lighter.
I notice that this device does NOT advertise a built-in GPS antenna. That is too bad - for this use case you want your phone in your pocket, which means you will have low GPS reception and bad accuracy.

If the Calimoto app supports Android Auto it would work. I know Rever supports CarPlay.
