The MOST Fun Beginner Trail in the PNW!

I can't believe I ever doubted that this trail would be super fun and well worth dropping in for!
Banzai trail at Black Rock is technically their most beginner trail on the mountain - it used to be labelled as a green trail from top to bottom, and now it's sections are either green or blue labelled. But we learned that less skill required does not mean less fun to ride! It is filled with wooden features, endless berms, and fast, flowy sections through fern covered forests.

😂 Ya that’s real. We made the mistake of going here AFTER 3 days of shuttling in Oakridge. I can’t wait to go back and start fresh someday.

Vid quality is solid! What frame rate are you shooting in?

Thanks! I think this was 4K30, with a fixed shutter speed of 1/400s. The fixed shutter speed helps make it feel smooth, but it also makes it harder to color grade, and it only works while the lighting stays consistent (when I leave the woods, it gets over exposed - like the short section near the end of the trail).

Yes - this video is older OA3 footage, but the 2 videos I posted before this were both OA4. So far I like it, but I need to spend more time in different situations to draw any big conclusions.
