These MTB Features are NOT Sanctioned

The only wood mtb features in Redding are on this somewhat secret, unsanctioned trail. It's a completely different experience riding a trail which is not built to meet the permitting and sustainability requirements most new trails have. There are steep chutes, loose off camber turns, and of course, there are these wooden features built on (very) locally sourced materials.
I'm thankful for the builders who have taken the initiative to make something different in the Redding area - but I'd also like to see these types of wooden features become more mainstream and maybe even get worked into our sanctioned trail planning.

Thanks! The chin cam shots are OA4. The chest cam shots are my old OA3. So far I’m happy with the improvements on the OA4.
