I am an English native speaker from the UK. It is not unusual to find many people who speak English to a very advanced level. It IS unusual to find anyone who speaks it as faultlessly as you. It is extremely rare to hear a foreigner speak English without a trace of a foreign accent. Even Danes and Dutch people who speak almost native level English nearly always have an accent. In my life I think I have heard may four or five people who could genuinely pass themselves off as a native speaker. You are one of them!

I am Italian, and I can tell he Is italian as well, but I think it's because of a very little inflection when he speaks. However I thought he was both italian and english native speaker, or at least Italian grew up abroad. In this video he pronounces few phrases in Italian and I can hear his accent from south Italy, but he loses it completely when he speaks in english. It is impressive how he speaks english without even have lived abroad, and he Is just 21 years old. I've lived for few years in London and I'm learning from him and I love to hear him 😊

I seriously doubt you are a native speaker. You may be a native speaker from India or Pakistan. His accent at first can really fool you a bit, but he DOES NOT sound American. Take it from an American. Saying T's as D's and R's does not make you American. His intonation is NOT that of an American. An accent cannot completely disappear. A trained ear can always hear it.

@@johndereck304 Wow Not sure why you are here, but improve your reading comprehension maybe! The first commenter clearly says they are a native speaker from the UK. So unless you know them personally, why would you say they are from India or Pakistan? I seriously doubt you are an American. If you truly are then you would know, there's no one true way to sound American. United States has many states with very many different accents. Not sure what you're trained as but a killjoy. Have a nice day!

I really enjoyed this video! You're such an inspiration to me, I'm currently learning Spanish and French and speak English fluently (I'm German). My father however always tells me that I don't speak English fluently because I've never been to an English speaking country 🙄 And when I explain to him that I've been watching ONLY English movies or shows and ONLY reading English books, practically consuming as much English content as possible each day for the past three years of my life, he doesn't want to listen and just keeps on saying that I don't speak English fluently. By the way, he has never even heard me speak English 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

You really inspire me in a way you can't imagine. I'm 29 and I'm gonna start to study translation and interpretation. I'm gonna start to study a new career at this point in my life and it's because of you, your videos encourage me to improve my skills in languages everyday, my biggest dream is to become a polyglot. My native language is spanish cause I'm a peruvian guy, but I've also studied english (I know my english is not so good yet), but as I said, I practice it every single day. I'm also studying french, italian and portuguese. Thank you so much Antonio.

Antonio, you never cease to amaze me. As a former English teacher, I can tell you that your English skills are superior to those of most native-born Americans. These days many Americans, in their writing, don't know "your" from "you're," or "its" from "it's," and commentators on the internet don't even speak in complete sentences, and are frequently redundant. You are what we call in the U.S. "a freak of nature" or "an idiot savant." Besides all that, you're a nice guy!

I realise that the earliest you learn English, I mean, age-wise speaking, the more accurate your accent is. From these UA-camrs, 'self-taught' ones, the truly fluent are the ones who learned English in their childhood or adolescence. I started after getting into my 30s and it's really hard to lose my accent. And sometimes it's hard to find the right words for conversations I am not accustomed to.

    • @JV-eh3lh

There's no need to lose your accent. English native speakers themselves speak in a wide variety of accents.

I relate to you so much because just like you I've grown an interest in English in middle school. I'm the top of my class in English and I think this is partly because I grew up speaking English (my parents taught me simple words when I was a baby and then as time went on, harder words). And partly because I only watch videos, movies, series in English. I even read books in English. Even though I'm good at it, I don't know everything and thanks to your videos I'm learning new phrases i didn't know about before.
