question 9 (B1-B2) → I’ve been informed that native speakers also use “going to”, but in grammar books you will find that after “I’m sure” a future simple is used. I’m not sure if it’s a colloquial use or if they’re both grammatically correct, but I wanted to let you know! ❤️
Thank God. My answer was "going to", and then, when I realized I should have gone with much simpler answer, I started bashing myself for always complicating things.
Speaking of the last one: a native english speaker told me you can say either "it's time we go home" or "it's time we went home". So, apparently both are correct!
In my lessons at school, I was taught that there is a very slight difference in the two "will" and "going to" future forms. If you're not sure on what is going to happen in the future, you use "will" future. For example: "It will rain all day tomorrow." Since the weather is never a set thing and can always change at any time, it is an uncertain thing to predict. Then again, if you use the "going to" future, it's mostly for something you can forsee with absolute certainty. For example: "I'm going to go to school tomorrow." Since it's a set purpose, you use the "going to" future.
Hi, Antonio! These are my results: A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 7/10 C1-C2: 6/10 I'm still confused about: "It's time we went home", I thought it would be 'go home'. Sounds weird to me as I've never heard of it like that. Even so, I think it's been a great test, better than others I've seen on UA-cam. It helped me a lot to evaluate my grammar.
Hi antonio, Here are my results. A1 - A2 = 10/10 B1 - B2 = 7/10 C1 - C2 = 4/10 I am really proud of myself. I am 20 years old and I have got a big journey ahead. And the reason I am more proud of my self is I don't attend to any of extra classes for English language. My most preferred way of learning English is watching youtube videos. It gives me pleasure than being in a class. And I get the chance to experience the natives virtually. As here I am following your channel. I hope that I would gradually increase my level when I grow up. And for that your channel is and will be a big support. Thank you very much antonio❤️🙏 Keep up the good work❤️👏 Lots of love from Sri Lanka🇱🇰🤝❤️
yeah, that is a very good way to better your English. i do think that in the near future your English will be better and better if you enjoy following your own way of learning English. i am very happy to see you make a everyday progress in English.
I made lot of mistakes, it impresses me because i'm currently studying for CAE. However, i don't feel sad about it, this means nothing. I felt kinda frustrated at first, but then i realized that mistakes makes perfection and that i have to trust on myself and my previous successes. Liked the message at the end tho. For everyone who is studying a language like me, don't get frustrated, and don't let other people tell you that you can't improve. Keep focus, we will make it.
I’m an English speaker but I thought it would be fun to test my grammar. I am so impressed with how much work and how many people do so well learning English if they speak another language. I’m horrible at trying to learn other languages.
This video was in my recommended and for fun I decided to try. I scored 30/30, not remarkable for someone who's native language is English. The message at the end, however, was the real gem. I've been struggling to learn Japanese. Hiragana and Katakana are so foreign to any system of writing I've known (we aren't even going to talk about kanji). The importance of tone and mora has also been difficult to grasp. You're right, though. I should be proud of what I am able to accomplish! Learning another language is never easy, but it's always worthwhile. Take this comment and this like. I wish all of you in the comments well on your language endeavors!
Since you are a native could you explain to me the number 10 on C level? If it's late now in the present, Why the use of went? It's late now It's time to go home. I would have never said it's time we went home
25 years and nailed A1-A2 , B1- B2, and 2 silly mistakes I accidentally made in C1-C2. All of them were quite easy, but I really enjoyed. In C1- C2, you had a question related to syntax which is my favorite of all. Example- No sooner did I leave my house for shopping, than it started raining cats and dogs. I know I still have a lot to learn in store to perfect the language hidden within me.
Born and raised in the USA, I've always considered myself to be an expert when it comes to speaking the English language. It was a surprise to me to get an incorrect answer on this quiz. It has prompted me to reevaluate the way I speak and write. Thanks for the lesson!
Hi Antonio, Here are the results of my test: A1/A2: 10/10 B1/B2: 6/4 C1/C2: 5/5 I am italian. I have started 2 days ago to refresh my English with you. Thank you so much! I do really appreciate your videos and I am enjoying to refresh my English lenguage with you. Thanks a lot. 🙏🍀
10/10 in the 3 levels. I've been in touch with the English language for almost 50 years now (I'm a Spanish speaking person). Thanks for your great videos and in particular your message at the end of this one!
Yeah you did a great job. i have been learning English for about 25 years, but i am still struggling with C1-C2. i know i need to spend time learning more about grammar. Thank you very much Antonio Parlati for your valuable youtube videos which help me to review my grammar points which i think will be helpful for my level of English.
Hii Antonio! Here are my results: A1 - A2: 09/10 B1 - B2: 09/10 C1 - C2: 04/10 (I gotta practice LOL) I took the B1 exam this year and I got 164 average, in 2023 I'm planning to take the B2. I'm Spanish btw. Thanks for the video!
A1-A2 = 9/10 B1-B2 = 8/10 C1-C2 = 5/10 The c1-c2 level questions were a bit difficult to answer but it was really good questions thank you so much . Always help us like that to improve our English. take love
Many fellow Americans will disagree with C1-C2 part. One student told me to review this and I should tell you. Mr. Antonio did great here but he’s mixing grammar and colloquial speech on this. Mr. Antonio please clarify this, please. I did get impressed by how you explain my language clear simple, and you said it best; “ English it is not an easy language.” Best of luck to you good sir.
Hello! Here are my results 😊 A1 - A2 = 10/10 B1 - B2 = 8/10 C1 - C2 = 5/10 The second and third level questions are quite tough to answer for me. But it's still not that bad of a score and am very proud of myself. Thank you Antonio! Keep learning everyone! 😊
Hello Antonio! I only have one mistake in B1-B2. I always share your videos with my Filipino learners. As an English teacher, I would say your videos really help me with my teaching the second language; i.e. English. Keep on inspiring educators like me. God bless you!
Hi, Antonio appreciate you for making it Here are my results A1-A2: 8/10 B1-B2: 7/10 C1-C2: 7/10 Sometimes i make silly mistakes out of pressure. I did that again. I am following your videos since a long time. It helps me a lot to improve. Keep going buddy.
Hi Antonio, I am a primary school teacher. I'd like to thank you for your great job: it's very entertaining! I adore listening to you in the morning while I get ready for school. After almost 10 years in Singapore and 25 in Italy my English is deteriorating terribly😁 Listening to you is really refreshing and sometimes challenging. By the way I did the test, out of curiosity... 2 mistakes in C1 C2. I am so disappointed! I was really hoping to get them all
Antonio, My name is Stephanie, I am 68. I love in California. I was born in Hawaii. When I was a child I spoke Spanish fluently. You are precious. I took this test/exam to determine my level of speech. Prior to taking the exam, I felt quite fluent in English. I did miss a few. I was surprised. The responses were well and which. Thank you for teaching American English. You are patient. Your skill is excellent. Your ronunciation is perfect. I have decided to slowly learn Italian. I have a very good friend that is Italian, He speaks English, but every now and then speaks Italian. I have learned the numbers 1-20. Again, thank you. Stephanie Santiago
Hello Antonio. I have a comment regarding C1-C2 question 10. Although I know that "It's time we went home" is the right answer, I don't often hear people use it. Most of the time, I hear "it's time for us to go home" or "it's time (for us) to go home". I even hear " it's time we go home" more often.
Yes I am with you, on C1-C2 level of the tests there are often two possibilities of good answer that can be used in real daily spoken English, but on such a test they chose just one as a good response, not meaning really that the other option be wrong at all..
Actually there is a slight difference in meaning. "It's time to go home " is used literally whereas "it's time we went home" might imply that we are a little overdue .
Hi, Antonio! The last questions were very confusing to me. I would really appreciate if you can explain them in future videos. Thank you very much. You’re truly amazing!!
I asked a friend of mine, which is english native speaker. He said "it's time we go home" and "it's time we went home" are both correct. I though the correct answer was "it's time we go home" but apparently both are fine
@@maddieb2763 Ok but being a native allows you to identify correct structures of your language. He might not be a teacher but as a native he's capable of discerning wrong structures from the right ones. 😉
Thanks for this test Antonio ! I love your videos and your way of teaching English ! Here are my results : Level A1/A2 = 10/10 Level B1/B2 = 10/10 Level C1/C2 = 6/10 I'm French, i'm 17 and i'm still studying in highschool. Even though lately i'm no longer going there for health issues, i'm proud of myself for keeping my level in English by still learning on my own. I'll try to improve my skills even more and keep watching your videos for a long time ! bye.. 🙋🏻♀️
wow i am very happy with your amazing score in english grammar. i am Vietnamese i have been learning english for about 25 years and i am still struggling with C1-C2. can you share with me your own way of learning english grammar. to be honest, i just focus on listening and speaking skills when it comes to learning english that's why i am not very good at english grammar.
10/10 10/10 Et 5/10 pour moi X'DD Honestly you're doing really great for a 17 years old, I'm curious about your English grades, your level clearly should be enough for you to top the class, unless there's a bilingual kid ( I mean, a native speaker, you got me right ) or something; wait, est-ce que le niveau d'anglais des francophones augmente? Anyway keep going, you're walking the right path ;) ^^
I'm a little bit younger than you and share the same nationality, and I'm currently in a similar state as well (about highschool). Um anyways, except that I got four out of ten for the C1/C2 level, I got the same results for the other ones. And so I'm wondering what does the 4/10 mean ? Does that mean I sucessfully reached C1 ? I'm asking you because perhaps that you got an idea of your level, thanks to a previous test or smtg ? That's okay if you don't respond though. Also, I hope you will recover... Have a great day !
Hi Antonio! My scores below: A1- A2 = 10/10 B1 -B2 =10/10 C1 - C2 = 8/10 I just had a little confusion with the exercises No. 7 and No. 10 in C1-C2 phase. By the way, thanks for recommending Busuu, I use it to study Brazilian Portuguese and I met many locals who are very eager to help, the best app so far. And I'm your new subscriber. 🌹🌹🌹 - From Philippines, currently living in UAE
Kamusta! (wow I still remember this word 5 years later 😅😁) I got almost the same result as you did, the only difference is that I messed up on the 3rd question instead of the 10th. Greetings from Bulgaria 🇧🇬
I got 30/30 😊 Levels A and B were familiar enough but I had to play some of the C-level questions by ear because I wasn’t familiar with all of the grammatical bases. Glad to know where I stand and which areas can use some improvement. Thank you for posting this, Antonio; beneficial and pleasant as always!
@@rcassia I answered all the questions correctly so why would I deduct points? I’d argue being able to speak and understand a language intuitively rather than by-the-book makes one closer to a native speaker.
Hi Antonio A1 -A2 = I mistake one B1-B2 = Four mistakes C1-C2 = Seven mistakes But it's okay, I'm studying every day, and my English's much better, I'm happy in my progress, I'll get to learn❤
yeah i am happy to hear that you are learning English every day to improve your English skills. I am an English teacher and i am struggling with C1-C2, so i still need to spend more time studying english grammar. i know english is one the most important language in the world and it is very crucial for my life to share it with my students who are trying to improve their english skill.
Am a retired teacher 18 yrs ago and these are my correct answers: 10, 7,6. I like your channel am following it. Thanks for the effort and am using already some of your words like the word because and very. Thank you. Hoping to see more of your lessons. Am a Filipino not English speaking individual
Hello Antonio! Isa po akong ofw isang DH ng KSA... at kunti lang ang alam kong English.. 2nd year high school lang po natapos ko... at sa pag hahanap ko ng mga English practice I saw your videos po and I got interested😊 and here are my result A1-A2=8 B1-B2=9 C1-C2=5 It's hard for me but I keep trying po.. thanks to your videos Antonio it really help me a lot.... God bless you and more videos to upload... salamat po😘
A-1/A-2 10, B1-B2 8, C1/C2 5 combining these results let me think that I'm still on the B2 level. Still motivated to reach the higher levels so I can finally say that I'm bilingual though ! 😂 Thanks Antonio !
Ciao Antonio. I'm Italian.I made 4 mistakes in the C level 🙃🙃 . I'm still upset about : "it's very late .It's time we went home" . How's that ?? anyway thank you very much. It's fun refreshing my English
I also made 4 mistakes. You are probably at the C1 level. You got 6 out of 10 right. You have more correct answers than wrong ones. We shouldn't take English for granted. There are some tricky exceptions.
I can't really give you a concrete and precise explanation, although it might be an idiom/expression. When one uses "it's time," or "it is time" for instance, one must use went instead of go. Even though it might neither be clear nor logic for now, you'll get used to it haha. Hope that helped!
Hi Antonio, I'm 22 years old and I thought it was too late to learn another language, but thanks to your videos my English improved a lot... keep making videos thanks
Hi, Antonio.. This is my results.. A1-A2 : 10/10 B1-B2 : 06/10 C1-C2 : 04/10 Thanks for this test.. Actually i really love English since i was elementary school untill senior high school.. When i went to university and took another major, my English level was got down.. I just took English for my TOEFL tested..😩 But now, I'm realize that i need to learn English again.. 😊 And than i was found your channel and it was really helping me.. Thanks a lot and have a blessed day.. 😊 *I'm sorry if i still got wrong for my English.. 🙏😅
Hello, Antonio! This test has inspired me to give a similar one to my Customer Service trainees before they begin our company’s training program. It’ll also help me determine what kind of English grammar leaaons to give them. Thanks for the idea! My scores are: A1-A2 = 10/10 B1-B2 = 10/10 C1-C2 = 9/10 I don’t remember using ‘than’ in that kind of sentence before. It means I need to review my lessons. Thanks again!
My wrongs: B1 - B2: 4/10: We MIGHT NOT HAVE time to go there 6/10: She works ON the second floor 9/10: I'm sure HE'LL understand C1 - C2: 3/10: The PHENOMENA are still being studied 6/10: He confessed to COMMITTING the crime 7/10: I had no sooner arrived THAN it started to rain 8/10: They felt as THOUGH they had known each other for years 9/10: I HAD the plumber FIX the trap 10/10: It's very late. It's time we went home I know by now what I have to improve. Thanks mate.
Hii I am a 17 year old Indian🇮🇳 My scores- A1-A2 -- 9/10 B1-B2 -- 9/10 C1-C2 -- 3/10 I am happy as I did this only by watching English movies & videos and normal classes of school. I know around 5 languages -- English Hindi Odia Bengali Sanskrit
A1- A2= 10/10 B1-B2= 5/10 C1-C2= 4/10 Thank you for make this kind of videos, well all your videos are amazing and so supportive, keep going, i learn so much with you 💖 that's all i can say
Hello Antonio. I'm from Philippines. Here are my results: A1-A2 10/10 B1-B2 9/10 C1-C2 8/10 I am so confused with the last item, how can that be "went" instead of go?😂😂 I hope you will notice my comment and help us clarify our confusion. Thank you and more power to you. 🙏😊
It is used to say it is time to do something that should have been done a long time ago. So if we use the phrases it is time/it is high time/ it is about time, we have to make the other sentence past.
@@fatmakpln25 That's correct. I only would like to add this: Notice the difference between: It's time to go home It's time we went home When we say it's time to, we refer to hours. It's time to go to sleep, home, etc. But when we say it's (about/high) time we went home, to sleep or whatever, we refer to something that should have happened before. It's time you started looking for a job! (You'd better do it) This is the way I see it, feel free to add something else.
Way to go, Antonio! You're doing a wonderful job 👏! Just one question for you. Would you please explain why you chose "went" for the last question " 10/10" in C1/C2 level? It'd be much appreciated if you could answer promptly. :-) . Also, for questions 8, in level "B" , as a native American English spaker, you could use both " which" and "that", colloquially. As for Question 9 (B1- B2), I more agree with your initial choice. "Will" makes more sense in this case. However, " is gonna/ is going to" could be used, too.
C1-C2 2 mistakes, but if you could clear my understanding here.. why do we say It's time we went home and not go home? thank you Antonio... I really LOVE your videos
I’m a non native speaker and I scored 10/10 in the first two levels, however, got 3-4 incorrect in the third one. Despite that I’m happy that I could score well since it was advanced level. Thanks for being a great teacher Antonio :)
A1/A2 - 10/10 B1/B2 - 9/10 C1/C2 - 5/10 As you can see, I'm more comfortable with the B2 level at an almost high rate. Thank you very much for this test, Antonio. :D
Thanks Antonio.
I took this test 5 months ago and the result was very bad. I couldn't even write a comment. I studied and watched videos for 5 months and I took the test again today. I'm not perfect yet and I need to study more, but I'm much better than before. 5 months ago (I had just started learning) : A1-A2 : 5/10 B1-B2 : 1/10 C1-C2 : 0/10 Today: A1-A2 : 8/10 B1-B2 : 7/10 C1-C2 : 3/10 I study more to learn grammars and vocabulary that I don't know. I hope to improve more. Thank you Antonio♡
Greetings from Brazil, Antonio. Here my results: A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 10/10 C1-C2: 4/10 Definetly I'm still struggling with advance grammar even though I don't focus on it a lot. I can communicate to others easily but this test was also interesting to evaluate how my grammar is going nowadays hahah. Grazie a mille
A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 10/10 C1-C2: 9/10 Always been excellent at English (especially written), from primary to secondary school. Love to play around with the language, too. I'm from Malawi, Southern Africa, and I speak it as a 2nd language. 😅
A1 A2 10/10 B1 B2 10/8 C1 C2 10/5 You motivated me a lot. I always scared make mistakes. Maybe even now I use wrong grammer I learned english by myself . Still I m trying improve and I changed my job I m really nearvous they accept me because I can speak English. I was thinking " what if I failure , what if my english not enough for this job "Even they told me "you will not communicate with prince Charles" ... After this video I trust my self much more...it was pleasure to watch this video ... Thank you ....🥰🥰
Thank you for this. It’s good to know that, as a 76 year-old citizen of the UK, I can still score 30/30 for this test. I have seen in the comments that question B9 has caused much discussion. I have used both alternatives suggested - they’re both correct. Using ‘ll is a simpler, easier and quicker way to express one’s self - especially when writing.
Hello Antonio! Thanks a lot for this video because it has seemed very interesting and entertaining to me. I have to say that this test has been very easy to me in general. I have got 10 out of 10 in A1-A2, 10 out of 10 in B1-B2 and 8 out of 10 in C1-C2, this level has been more challenging than the others because I have confused some questions but I am very happy with my results because I am English teacher as you and my main goal is helping my future students to do their best and push them to be able everything that they want to achieve while they enjoy learning english in a more entertaining way , I think that most of the students find it difficult to learn English because it is boring for them to learn a lot of rules by heart and they don´t feel motivated to keep on learning when they fail an exam for example but it is a very task important for teachers to help them to change your mind about learning a new language and the advantages that this can provide them in a near future. Thanks again for your dedication!
Hi Antonio here are the results A1-A2 - 8/10 B1-B2 - 9/10 C1-C2 - 7/10 Thank you soo much Antonio for sharing your knowledge on how to develop my English pronunciation and deliver it
Hi Antonio, this is madiha from Switzerland and I’m a Pakistani.I did this test today and I got 10/10 in A1/A2, 7/10 in B1/B2 and 4/10 in C1/C2. I’m trying to learn by you a lot of things vocabulary, pronunciation, slang verbs etc.thankyou for helping people like me whose mother language is not english
Hi Antonio! Here are my results. A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 8/10 C1-C2: 2/10 I'm from Slovakia 🇸🇰 and I'm 17 years old. I haven't learn C1-C2 level yet (that explains the result). Altough I'm so proud at myself and my english level. Thank you! 😁
I have taught English for most of my adult life. However, I stopped teaching during the pandemic and became a real estate agent. Here, I made two mistakes on the C1/C2 level - one for being unattentive and the other for not remembering the specific grammar point. Thanks for the opportunity to brush up on my English!
Hi Antonio! My results: A1/a2: 10/10 B1/b2: 10/10 C1/c2: 7/10 P.s I took the advance English exam with Oxford uni many years ago, but still I find your lessons very interesting and I am still learning a lot from them Grazie !!
Hi Antonio, I came across your channel just now. Thank you1 Here is my result for the English Level Test: (10/10 for A1-A2) (10/10 for B1--B2) (9/10 for C1-C2) For no. 10 in C1-C2: I have chosen "go", but your answer is "went". Is it correct if I use the present form? . Looking forward to your reply.🙂
10/10 A1-A2 10/10 B1-B2 8/10 C1-C2 Thanks for the test Antonio. It was really useful to define my limits and my general level of English. Since I'm from Italy as well, all I can say is Forza Napoli campione.
Hi Antonio! You're a professional one you're pronunciation and the way you teach us in your videos is amazing. Congrats for your job! Keep going ! I admire what you do, really. I follow u and I learn from you a lot. Thanks you very much indeed by the way my level is B2 and I'm spanish si necesitas saber alguna expresión,frase hecha o cualquier palabra o frase just let me know. 😊
Great work Antonio! I spend most of my time watching your videos. You have such a unique style and poise. Keep up the good work and continue to inspire! Love and Regards all the way from India. May God bless you!
Hi, Antonio! I first saw you on Tiktok and you're videos were really informative. Then, these past few days, I accidentally found your UA-cam channel while scrolling and looking for some English videos. I really want to enhance my English skills in writing and especially, in speaking. So, I'm looking forward to watching all your videos and new videos in the future. P.S. I took the test and here are my scores: (A1-A2) 9/10, (B1-B2) 8/10, (C1-C2) 7/10 haha. I'll definitely study more. I'm hopeful to be fluent in English someday. P.P.S. I apologize if I have grammatical errors. But, I'll be delighted if y'all correct me. Thank you so much. Have a good day/evening! 💗
15:47 July 10, 2023 I've got A. 10:10 B 10:10. C 9:10. The only one I was wrong at "it's time we "went" home. If I'd have more time maybe I'd guess better.
A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 10/10 C1-C2: 4/10 Thank you so much for sharing this test Antonio. I’m planning to study abroad and I still think I have to polish my pronunciation and overall English Level. I’m willing to improve my English everyday and good luck y’all learning this tricky language. Now my next challenge is to improve my speaking skills and try to talk with native speakers fluently!
A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 10/10 C1-C2: 8/10 Hi Antonio 👋 I'm a native Filipino speaker yet I can speak fluently in English, all thanks to you and my past teachers who helped me improve my English skills.
Hi Antonio this is my result A1-A2:10/10 B1-B2:6/10 C1-C2:3/10 I’m so proud of this test, I appreciate and so I learn more things thought about you. I guess that I need always be able to get a hold . Thanks
Hi Antonio, I'm from Vietnam and I'm a senior student at a university of technology. My scores are below: A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 9/10 - I made a mistake with "will" and "be going to". Based on the knowledge that I was taught, "will" and "be going to" are similar. Anyway, "be going to" is commonly used for more certain levels than "will". The question has the phrase "I'm sure" which shows that the certain level is high, then I chose "be going to". C1-C2: 10/10
Hi Antonio, i take the test, A1-A-2= 9/10 B1-B2 = 8/10 C1-C2= 7/10... I have really most mistakes in the last level I have learned english at school many years ago, but I live in the Netherlands for almost 35 years, so English languaje is a little bit at the background, but I try to practice each day a little bit more, thank you.
😊 wow I did quite well. The clock ticking made me very anxious. These are my results A1 A2 10/10 B1 B2 9/10 C1 C2 7/10 THANK YOU ANTONIO IT WAS A CHALLENGING
I've been studying english on my own for almost 3 years, finally I will take a course. The courses they offer are "beginner I, beginner II, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate I and Intermediate II", and I don't know which one to chose, so I watched this video lol. Here are my results btw: A1-A2: 10/10 B1-B2: 9/10 C1-C2: 4/10
Hi guys, I'm proud on my result, I've been studying a lot and improving daily, I hope to reach the advanced level by the end of this year and I want to speak more natural and confindent, I'm away from my goal but I've realized my progress. A1/A2 = 9/10 B1/B2 = 8/10 C1/C2 = 2/10
1. 9/10 2. 10/10 3. 7/10 I think that the test result will depend on whether you have already learned the grammar construction of the question or not. Of course, my level isn`t A2(I hope so), but I made a mistake, as I`ve never before learned how to use well and good, heh. I just use it like feel. My English level is definitely B1, maybe at the beginning of the B2 level. Thank u for your video! It was very interesting to watch and practice my English skills as well)
Hi...Antonio. these are my results. A1-A2 : 10/10 B1-B2 : 3/10 C1-C2 : 7/10 How can i do that😅? Test on C1-C2 better than test on B1-B2. I'm 45yo i still learn English. I'm Indonesian. Thank you for Sharing English lesson.
Hi, I'm from Iran. Here are my results after being away from english for a long time: A1_A2: 9/10 B1_B2: 8/10 C1_C2:3/10 Thank you but I didn't understand what is my english level?
Hello Mr. Parlati I made no mistakes in each level. I'm 76 years old. I love watching and listening to you. You are so handsome, your eyes hold me captive. They are beautiful.
Hello. And thank you for conducting the test. My results are as follows A1-A2 10/10 B1-B2 9/10 C1-C2 7/10 . Although, I have to say, in C section I made some guess work. What should be my level !?
I was happy I took the test to see my English level and I was very impressed, never stop learning is my goal. Enjoy listening your words pronunciation .Thank you .🙏😊
question 9 (B1-B2) → I’ve been informed that native speakers also use “going to”, but in grammar books you will find that after “I’m sure” a future simple is used. I’m not sure if it’s a colloquial use or if they’re both grammatically correct, but I wanted to let you know! ❤️
Thank God. My answer was "going to", and then, when I realized I should have gone with much simpler answer, I started bashing myself for always complicating things.
all three answers are what native speakers say. B and C are the casual/informal versions of A
Thank you, Antonio! 🌞
For example: "It will rain all day tomorrow."
Since the weather is never a set thing and can always change at any time, it is an uncertain thing to predict.
Then again, if you use the "going to" future, it's mostly for something you can forsee with absolute certainty.
For example: "I'm going to go to school tomorrow."
Since it's a set purpose, you use the "going to" future.
Hi, Antonio! These are my results:
A1-A2: 10/10
B1-B2: 7/10
C1-C2: 6/10
I'm still confused about: "It's time we went home", I thought it would be 'go home'. Sounds weird to me as I've never heard of it like that. Even so, I think it's been a great test, better than others I've seen on UA-cam. It helped me a lot to evaluate my grammar.
Because it's a phrase; the person wishes to done this action already.
I agree with you I had one wrong to.
I also chose "go" since the whole sentence was in present tense.
"It's time to go home" is correct. "It's time we went home" is correct. Native speakers usually say, "It's time to go" or "Let's go." I'm from USA.
Hi antonio,
Here are my results.
A1 - A2 = 10/10
B1 - B2 = 7/10
C1 - C2 = 4/10
I am really proud of myself.
Thank you very much antonio❤️🙏
Keep up the good work❤️👏
Lots of love from Sri Lanka🇱🇰🤝❤️
What a lovely comment 🥰 my results are nearly the same as yours 😎💪🇪🇦
hey 😎me too

A1 -A2=10/10-#B1-B2 =6/10
yeah, that is a very good way to better your English. i do think that in the near future your English will be better and better if you enjoy following your own way of learning English. i am very happy to see you make a everyday progress in English.
Wow! You're amazing! 😍🤗😍
Since you are a native could you explain to me the number 10 on C level? If it's late now in the present, Why the use of went? It's late now It's time to go home. I would have never said it's time we went home
@@yowhatsdisyeah, i didnt understand too. Why the answer is went hahahhaa
LMAO SAME
I got the same question wrong, but shouldn’t it be then rather than?

Born and raised in the USA, I've always considered myself to be an expert when it comes to speaking the English language. It was a surprise to me to get an incorrect answer on this quiz. It has prompted me to reevaluate the way I speak and write. Thanks for the lesson!

10/10 in the 3 levels. I've been in touch with the English language for almost 50 years now (I'm a Spanish speaking person). Thanks for your great videos and in particular your message at the end of this one!
felicitaciones, entre el ingles y el español podes manejarte bien en una gran parte del planeta tierra 👉✨

C1-C2 = 5/10
The c1-c2 level questions were a bit difficult to answer but it was really good questions thank you so much .
Hello! Here are my results 😊
A1 - A2 = 10/10
B1 - B2 = 8/10
C1 - C2 = 5/10
The second and third level questions are quite tough to answer for me. But it's still not that bad of a score and am very proud of myself. Thank you Antonio! Keep learning everyone! 😊
My result was exactly same as yours!
Let's keep learning:)
We have the exact same score. I wish for the next test i'll got correct in B test

Hello Antonio! I only have one mistake in B1-B2. I always share your videos with my Filipino learners. As an English teacher, I would say your videos really help me with my teaching the second language; i.e. English. Keep on inspiring educators like me. God bless you!
Hi, Antonio appreciate you for making it
Here are my results
A1-A2: 8/10
B1-B2: 7/10
C1-C2: 7/10
Sometimes i make silly mistakes out of pressure.
I was really hoping to get them all
Antonio,
My name is Stephanie, I am 68.
It's time / It's high time always takes past form of verbs as past subjunctive.
It's time/high time, we... (started)... working for ourselves.
Ya..we would be gland if you do so..make a video of the last level english test
@@Elettra-vc1he Being a native speaker doesn't mean you can teach a language. Your English friend is wrong. Probably he is not a teacher.
@@maddieb2763 Ok but being a native allows you to identify correct structures of your language. He might not be a teacher but as a native he's capable of discerning wrong structures from the right ones. 😉
Thanks for this test Antonio ! I love your videos and your way of teaching English !

I'm French, i'm 17 and i'm still studying in highschool.
10/10
10/10
Et 5/10 pour moi X'DD
Honestly you're doing really great for a 17 years old, I'm curious about your English grades, your level clearly should be enough for you to top the class, unless there's a bilingual kid ( I mean, a native speaker, you got me right ) or something; wait, est-ce que le niveau d'anglais des francophones augmente?
Anyway keep going, you're walking the right path ;) ^^
I'm a little bit younger than you and share the same nationality, and I'm currently in a similar state as well (about highschool). Um anyways, except that I got four out of ten for the C1/C2 level, I got the same results for the other ones. And so I'm wondering what does the 4/10 mean ? Does that mean I sucessfully reached C1 ? I'm asking you because perhaps that you got an idea of your level, thanks to a previous test or smtg ? That's okay if you don't respond though. Also, I hope you will recover... Have a great day !
You're great Antonio, please keep growing your channel and expand you knowledge and more so your spirit throughout the world!!!
Good job Antonio! Thanks for the excellent classes!

Levels A and B were familiar enough but I had to play some of the C-level questions by ear because I wasn’t familiar with all of the grammatical bases.
Glad to know where I stand and which areas can use some improvement.
Thank you for posting this, Antonio; beneficial and pleasant as always!
i think it's an arcaic form of subjunctive
So, you are not 30/30. You said, 'I wasn't familiar...".
@@rcassia whats wrong with that though?
@@rcassia I answered all the questions correctly so why would I deduct points? I’d argue being able to speak and understand a language intuitively rather than by-the-book makes one closer to a native speaker.
Hi Antonio
A1 -A2 = I mistake one
B1-B2 = Four mistakes
C1-C2 = Seven mistakes
But it's okay, I'm studying every day, and my English's much better, I'm happy in my progress, I'll get to learn❤
yeah i am happy to hear that you are learning English every day to improve your English skills.
Same!
That's my only mistake. I thought the answer was go😂

I am so confused with the last item, how can that be "went" instead of go?😂😂
I hope you will notice my comment and help us clarify our confusion.
Thank you and more power to you. 🙏😊
Me either !
It is used to say it is time to do something that should have been done a long time ago. So if we use the phrases it is time/it is high time/ it is about time, we have to make the other sentence past.
@@fatmakpln25 That's correct. I only would like to add this:
Notice the difference between:
It's time to go home
It's time we went home
When we say it's time to, we refer to hours. It's time to go to sleep, home, etc.
But when we say it's (about/high) time we went home, to sleep or whatever, we refer to something that should have happened before.
It's time you started looking for a job! (You'd better do it)
This is the way I see it, feel free to add something else.
Hi Antonio, same here. would like to know the explanation why "went" and not "go" home.
Hi Antonio. I made 3 mistakes in B level and 6 mistakes in C level and thank you so much for sharing the subject which is very helpful to us

Hi Antonio here are the results
A1-A2 - 8/10

*I'm so proud of myself. (People make mistakes.)

Antonio, I tell people who ask me, " How do I improve my English?", I tell them to read a lot more. Proper English will follow.
Hi Antonio,
I'm from Vietnam and I'm a senior student at a university of technology. My scores are below:
A1-A2: 10/10
B1-B2: 9/10 - I made a mistake with "will" and "be going to". Based on the knowledge that I was taught, "will" and "be going to" are similar. Anyway, "be going to" is commonly used for more certain levels than "will". The question has the phrase "I'm sure" which shows that the certain level is high, then I chose "be going to".
C1-C2: 10/10
Correct answers
A1-A2 = 10/10
B1-B2 = 10/10
C1-C2 = 3/10
Love your videos. Lots of greetings from Prague, Czech Republic
English isn't my native language. I got 10/10, 10/10 and 9/10.
Thank you, Antonio. It was fun.

THANK YOU ANTONIO
IT WAS A CHALLENGING
I've been studying english on my own for almost 3 years, finally I will take a course. The courses they offer are "beginner I, beginner II, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate I and Intermediate II", and I don't know which one to chose, so I watched this video lol. Here are my results btw:

Hi guys, I'm proud on my result, I've been studying a lot and improving daily, I hope to reach the advanced level by the end of this year and I want to speak more natural and confindent, I'm away from my goal but I've realized my progress.

B1/B2 = 8/10
C1/C2 = 2/10

I think that the test result will depend on whether you have already learned the grammar construction of the question or not.
