People can learn from you for sure. I can just get general drift on most as at present I have a Garrett Ace 300, I'm certainly not knocking the 300 because it has worked very well for me, I have not found any gold-----, I think in central Oklahoma we are to poor to have any gold to loose😂. But we have abundance of pull tabs and can slaw, if you want to dig that come on over you will be in to a busy day. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. " Bring It "
That very well may be the case that some places have lots of pultabs and not very many gold rings. It really is about collecting data over many hunts and recognize your ratio of trash to treasure. I metal detect in trash because I enjoy that element of surprise and the challenge it serves to my brain and skills. Hitting on coins out in the open is a cake walk and can get boring digging coins all day...I like gold too!!
Same here. I used to come home with 10 silvers after each hunt many many years ago...them days are long long gone. The silver is almost gone and the gold jewelry and rings are always being dropped. Also, too much trash is masking the deep stuff. So when you dig the trash and jewelry out...you are unmasking deeper silver coins....maybe if the coins are still there!!
Thanks for this video Jeremy. …If you would have done the same thing there on that day with D2 in previous version (.71) what settings would you have to change in comparison to the new v1.0 other than lowering the audio response? I hunt In similar soil. I haven’t downloaded v1.0 yet. Should I or wait for the next update in your opinion. Thanks!
Finding a key date silver coin in mint condition in the ground is like winning the Megabucks Lottery. Just finding a wiped rosie silver coin in the ground is like winning the Lotto. I find way way way way more gold rings than silver coins. I find more gold chains that silver coins!! There....we did the math!! Is it worth hunting for silver coins in parks?? Yeah there still may be some silver in virgin spots....but it would be like......just go buy a lottery ticket would ya.
What’s your opinion using the mono frequencies on the deus II vs the original single frequency Deus? Do you think the single frequencies on the original Deus have more power and oomph than the mono frequencies on the Deus II? Just thought if any can answer my query, you’d be the best person to ask!
The Deus 1 HF coils are a hard match contend with. The HF coils are absolutely deadly on gold and dense iron patches...been well known for years. The FMF coils on D2 have a broader range of frequencies than the X35 coils but both the X35 and FMF coils cannot reach the frequencies the HF coils can reach. THE 5x9 HF COIL IS DEADLY!! The D2 does not have a 5x9......yet!! The tones on the Deus 2 have been refined this last year and have come a long long way since it's release. Raw power to go deep....the D2 takes it. Raw power to hunt trash...D2 takes it again...this could be much better with a 5x9 FMF coil. The D2 is much harder to keep tuned in mono program than the D1. But all said and done we have tried and tested the D1 for over 13 years and the D2 only for about a year. The D2 is just a baby and we only know little about it's true power. The D2 has more features on the horizon and has huge potential be on top of the market for another 13 years. The D2 tones are so much more versatile than the D1. I will never sell my D1....because it is a backup just in case of D2 problems.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak Thank you for taking the time to give me a really informative answer. I knew you would be the best person to answer my query - much appreciated!
Theres alot of key date dimes jeremy ... im always hearing you say the silver coins arent worth anything but then you get excited finding junk rings that arent worth 10 cents ...your a confusing cat
I have got many many more gold rings than silver coins this year. All it takes is one scratch on key date dime and it's worth a buck. A bent gold ring that has been whacked by a mower is still worth 30 bucks a gram. Rings are near the surface and coins are deep. Key date coins in good condition are extremely extremely rare to come out of the ground in my area....gold rings are plentiful. I used to get handfuls off silver coins every week while detecting many many years ago....only 4 of those thousands of silvers have been worth something....I have found hundreds and hundreds of gold items( rings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants, teeth, charms) The silver coins are far and few between these days because we wrecked shop many years ago before all the modern trash.
As it’s been said many many times, if you’re new to the hobby, digging it all is the best way to learn...
Nice commentary💪🏻

Nice job Jeremy. I’m glad you share. Why people have to be negative.and should be more like you. Thanks.
I think all the silver where I live is dug up by now. I'm just happy to find a non-junker ring, coins, odd trinkets.

Sweet!! It pops perfect little plugs!!
Thanks.
Silver coins nowadays are more rare than gold rings. Finding key dates in the ground are a once on a lifetime occurrence.

No problem Anthony!! Thank you for asking a question nobody has asked me.
I just found a honking silver ring on my front lawn with my ws6 deus 2 blew my ears off 3 inches deep
Them rings are shallow man!! Congrats!!
What’s with the red shovel ? What happened to the Phoenix ?
I was using the Predator Phantom because I wanted smaller holes.
I still have a Phoenix
