I love SAABs and have one they are amazing cars and the manufacturer didn’t deserve the way it ended!
SAAB is totally alive and doing rather well. Only the car division bit the dust. They are a big player in the military industry, they make make planes, submarines, missiles, small arms, various protection systems and much more. Check out their official website, you will be surprised.

A year ago we had one of those job expos at our UNI and SAAB had a booth there. We expected them to have like electric car motors there or whatever but were instead greeted by missile launchers and automatic weapons.
A bit surprised we asked since when they made weapons and they laughed and replied "We always did".
Saab is not about cars anymore its as they say: As a leading defence and security company, we offer solutions that range from the depths of the oceans to high in the sky, on land and in cyberspace, to keep people and society safe.

Family comes first man, don't feel obligated to upload everyday. Yes its what the channel grew on but changing and diversifying is great. The fan base and viewership you have accumulated throughout the years has grown and will always come back. Quality is better than Quantity.

Been watching since I was 14 I’m 23 now and seeing phly grow the channel to what it is today and start a family has really been amazing. Family and mental health come first we aren’t going anywhere, just happy to still be watching content that makes days that little bit easier. ❤️
Seeing Gripen in game is like a dream come true to me and hearing the edit of Ace Combat ost with it brings a feeling I never thought I'd have in WarThunder... even if it was cut short
Saab also makes submarines these days through its subsidiary SAAB Kockums, probably the hardest to detect submarines in the world.
Anyways, combat aircraft came first, cars only second and they used to make SAAB Scania trucks.

That's exactly my experience in gripen. Matches over before you get in range, gun refuses to kill a single craft, and when you get a guy flat spinning there are 50 friendlies lining up for the steal

I tried several times to destroy them with AIM 7M, lock doesn't work correctly on them, and missoles don't launch. Like wth AIM9M can't lock on Gripen from 1.5km
Well, from C model on it should be able to carry every weapon in NATO arsenal including IRIS-T and Meteor and only if it had its actual Eletronic Wafrare suite.

SAAB is an acronym for Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget, meaning The Swedish Airplane Corporation Limited. Making cars came later, but I there’s already other posts about that. I sold my old SAAB 9-5 last year, it was 23 years old and I had kept it because the family begged me not to sell it. Hadn’t drove it myself for about 8 years, but the kids and Mrs used it. But at last it needed some TLC that was way over the budget. Second hand car company fixed it up and I’m sure it’s still rolling as it’s engine had many miles left.
Has been driving Volvos V60’s since GM put a dagger into the heart of SAAB. Great cars, even if it’s own by China now.

The JAS39 gripen is made by saab, saab was in the beginning an aircraft manufacturer. So actually, it's an aircraft company that made cars as well. Btw, saab stands for "svenska aeroplan aktiebolaget" (swedish aeroplane joint-sstock-company)

I remember you saying before your first child was born: "I will still upload Daily no problem" and i was saying to myself "Yeah no, thats not how getting a child works, even tough i dont have one lol". Uploads got sparse and i was happy because clearly focusing on your child is better then focusing on youtube.
Then i remember you saying you will get a normal Upload schedule Soon, that was shortly before you announcent the second child.
And you know what, while i do miss the daily uploads (im unable to work, so i have way to much free time), iam extremly happy for you and that you decided to take care of your Family and not youtube like many other poeple would do.

The main business for SAAB had always been related to home defence equipment, such as jet fighters missiles, radars, munitions, and recently submarines. Cars was a civilian business that was sold out quite a few years ago.

Life is always tough to manage, and even tho War Thunder is a game for most, its actually part of your life too, and trying to make sure every aspect of your life is healthy and happy can be tricky. I came across your channel about 4 or 5 years ago and loved your content, even before playing War Thunder myself. I had once such a game, spawned a bit late in the 2S... the sprut, the light tank thingy. So i go for a flank trying to catch up to some buddys... long story short, to every fight i got, enemies had just been blown up. ended the match with nobody even looking at me, and i didn't fire a single shell... All i managed to do was scout a dude or something xD was kinda funny.
Also, while i love your regular content, i also liked it a lot when you branched out with the ocasional video of other games, so maybe (if ya want) upload a video of Dysons sphere or Workers and Resources or any of this other games.
