Love when the 3 of you are together in these videos. Some of my absolute favorite stuff to watch on UA-cam. Spot history is peak entertainment for me. Keep up the good work.
Watching this in the hospital fresh out of acl surgery, just met this cool old head nurse who used to skate out here in ft.Lauderdale real florida og from back in the day, was talking all about skating and showing eachother footage! Showed him your videos and made sure he knew to watch them when he goes home he said he’s definitely going to started watching it as soon as he was done putting in my IV 😂 Keep it up y’all bois these videos are sick I always tell people to check ‘em out!
I agree with the other comments, this series is fabulous! Having grown up, watching all these spots, get destroyed, you guys do a great job, breaking it down and giving proper credit! and then you rip to boot… Keep going! Good stuff
I grew up in Walnut and attended this high school. I use to walk up the 21 every morning to get to class and use to think that the rail was too tall to skate, but I got word Rowley took pictures of front lipslide for Transworld (iirc) but didn’t land it. I don’t think Rowley’s boardslide was in the same session but at point the floodgates opened for rest of the skate world that a gigantic 21 stair rail exists for the true maniacs
Yep, I still have the rowley lipslide attempt vans add from Transworld. Back then I waited so long to see the video footage but when sorry came out it wasnt there….. years later I heard that he did not land it.
@@vanemvenom I believe I was a Junior in high school when Rowley attempted the lipslide and I thought it was rumors and as I walked up the stairs from ground level and checked the furthest left rail, sure enough I can see the board slide marks that previously weren't there. So at that moment I knew it was true and not rumors and it wasn't long til we saw the same pictures come up for the Van's ad
Much respect for including John Lyke lots of gnarly rollerblading has gone down at all the classic spots. Check out Chris Haffey fakie 900 at el toro 🤘
Huge fan of rollerblading, skateboarding and biking as I've done all 3. I've been following Farmer, Aragon and Haffey since before most of these UA-cam kids could even walk. I love your enthusiasm but that was a fakie 720, not a fakie 900. I think that was from Leading the Blind. He does flip around a 180 after landing so kind of a sketchy landing for a Haffey gap. I'm surprised that he didn't redo that trick.
Just stumbled upon this channel and I am loving it. Well done with the audio mixing and throwing in the replay clips without a super abrasive audio change. Very nicely executed. Got me as a like and subscriber. Not buying a shirt just yet but let me watch a couple more. I am about to do go down the Dernbros rabbit hole. I Have most of your library in my queue and a long work day to get through.
i subscribed. so please keep making these cool skatespot videos. theyre cool videos for us people in more rural areas that skate but arent able to make it to the landmark spots. thanks dern dudes
I like how you guys included roller blading and bmx...do that for every spot...include different sports. it gives more history and back story to the spot
Incredible how good Jeff was in those days on massive spots. He falls on a 21 more graceful than I do on a 5. We don’t give enough credit to how much control these guys have over their movements
Mad respect for these guys eating shit like no tomorrow & still eating it.. really fun watching these videos. Takes me back to the good ol' days. Crazy how the body twitches still from watching slams here & there. Thanks for making these videos bros 🤙
You guys are both such sick skaters, love it. Seeing that ZERO board, ZERO was my absolute favorite board company back when I used to skate, Jamie Thomas being my favorite skater. I thought Jamie shut ZERO down decades ago but it looks like they are still going. Great content, keep it up.
Great content.. should be endless comments.. I had like 100 of them but this the only one I’m posting. Great history lessons.. skateboarding was good too..
I was the first one to ollie the good ol Walnut 21 stair. Back in 66' when there wasn't any fancy cameras! Ahh this video brings back memories! Cheers!
I'd say a crooked grind is overdue. Jamie would be a prime candidate, but I guess he opted for the feeble, which is arguably even more insane. Love you guys for doing this series, it is a genius idea, flawlessly executed. As someone who skated as a kid and later switched to BMX, I appreciate how you consistently include the most insane BMX tricks (and other sports, like Inline and even Freestyle MX) that have gone down these iconic spots. I love how open skate culture has become. I'm about 10 years older than you guys, and I remember the 90s, when most skaters looked down on everything that wasn't ("real" street) skating.
That is one of the massive sets I've seen in person, the rail is like shoulder high its as high as Staples Center. Plus they put a grate in front when I was there, there was a grate in front of it so you couldn't skate it. Nyjah skated the massive 21 rail and there's a huge kinked rail he did by it. But yeah anybody that steps up to this is legendary for sure You all should the UC Irvine hubba that Kirchart 50's in his TWS part, Dane Burman skated it (he is a beast!) that thing is huge too no joke
These just keep getting better and better! Man i wish people started going back to these iconic spots. Feels like they have all been abondoned in favor of getting ready for stupid SLS. Skateboarding needs a return to bangers
I just found this channel the other day. IDK how it got recommended to me because I dont watch skateboarding. I never even skateboarded in my life. I really like your guys's channel though. I can tell that yall are really passionate about it. IDK shit about skating but yall seem to be talented as fuck too. I seen the video of yall skating at Bams house and I was amazed by the passion you guys got for skating. I dont even know about skating and I can tell its really obvious. The shape yall must be in is insane. I respect the fuck outta it. Also it dont seem like you guys are about drama or no shit like that. Just having fun and thats needed a lot nowadays. I am rooting for yall and I subscribed too. Good shit!
I say it on all Spot History videos but the fact you also include the footage of the tricks you mention being done is the best.
This series is awesome. Thanks for making it!
Love when the 3 of you are together in these videos. Some of my absolute favorite stuff to watch on UA-cam. Spot history is peak entertainment for me. Keep up the good work.
I never heard of Tony Willie's ollie and kf attempt and Ryan Townley's lipslide. Thank you guys, best spot videos out there!
Ya'll have been absolutely cranking out the content, keep it up!
This set is so big in person. Wild stuff
rollerblader here, just wanted to say i love Spot History, it’s super cool to see aggressive inline get a shoutout!
Watching such a little David Gonzales brings back memories man
He's a legend! He finally cut his hair too I think. 🤔 I understand though I've been through 3-4 hair farms throughout my life.
This spot history series is the best! I feel you can have content for years with this alone across the US. Good shit guys!
Another great history video! I definitely appreciate the special guests too, thanks Jaws and Nick for doing that. Awesome feature.

I love this video format!! So unique and you even get interviews of people who skated the spot. So badass
What i love about our dern bros is..they always show the spots around the iconic spot. Along with every documented trick.
Dernbros about to blow up 2024. I can see getting a million subs with you guys keeping this series going alone. Love all the content!!
Thank you for making these series episodes happen so quickly and with such great edits. I love you guys, you’re my favorite bros.
Daam dude, was just browsing your channel while w8ing for the snow to dissapear and a new video pops out. Keep killing it :D
I agree with the other comments, this series is fabulous!

These spot checks are so epic. Such a great idea! Also, enjoy watching you guys skate around finding other stuff.

@@Coleman_H Thank you
Steve Ishida, holy shit dude, it's Steven Foster. I was thinking the same thing, 20 years ago these stairs looked impossible.
These spot videos are so gnarly and so cool to see 3 brothers skating and having fun together. You guys are rad AF
Love your videos on famous skate spots
Best documentary series about skating!! I am always looking forward to the next episode
Love these vids and jaws!!!!
This series is so great. Would love to see one of the Wallenberg 4!

Thoroughly enjoying the series!
14:00 Milton back 180 down that is nuts!
The hole in the wall in from punch in Jaw room😂😂
He seems too chill to punch a wall...probably doing flips off of his bed or something😂
@@fuckcensorship69 probably did it fist pumping while raving in his room🤣🤣🤣
Great to see the brothers ripping !

Incredible how good Jeff was in those days on massive spots. He falls on a 21 more graceful than I do on a 5. We don’t give enough credit to how much control these guys have over their movements
This is the best skate content on youtube. Maybe L.A. triple set next?
You guys need to bring a tape measure to these spots 😂
They need some land surveying equipment. I want the exact dimensions damnit
I just know it looks like you're on top of a mountain when they show the run up angle 😂
@@theacgkidBeing in that position on many spots I used to skate, that run up view gave me that same adrenaline rush feeling, just viewing it!
Sik vids. Love the spot history.
Mad respect for these guys eating shit like no tomorrow & still eating it.. really fun watching these videos. Takes me back to the good ol' days. Crazy how the body twitches still from watching slams here & there. Thanks for making these videos bros 🤙

Jaws giving props to Milton you know that’s gnarly !!
Aaron’s palm injury brought back memories immediately. Those were always gnarly
As a 33 year old kid that grew up skating and watching skate videos. It dope to see these old spots in the video I used to watch.

Cool interview with Aaron.

Glad to see Milton's back 180 get due props, one of my favorite clips
Your family is insane. And we love it. The Encinitas drop in for UA-cam…. What the hell. The fact they skate the spots… so gnarly
