Casually skating the 12 and the 16 at Hollywood High is purely amazing. For anyone who has ever visited those rails in person, they are no joke and are very intimidating. Back in the 90's or early 2000's, any single one of these tricks would've been easily incredible by themselves in a video part. And these guys are simply playing a game of SKATE like it's nothing. Props!

Lol I said virtually the same thing...these would be great video part tricks in my day...mid 90s and early 2000s...it just amazes me like where is Skateboarding going and how much more can it progress

An hour just naming the dozens of sick tricks thrown down both of those sets and rails by so many absolute legends. They should do a spot history just for bails. They could go back to all the previous spots and name the gnarliest slams that went down. A slam from transworld anthology always comes to mind. I forget who did it but they tried a front fifty and slammed their face so bad that it split their eyebrow clean open . Now i have to find the name. Feel free to mention it if you know the slam I'm talking about.
It was Neal Mims that slammed and gashed his eyebrow. It gashed open just from Impact. He didn't cut it on anything Sharp, it was pure impact that split him open like a boxers eyebrow. It was split so far open that it would be difficult pulling that skin back together for stitches. It was gashed open like an inch and a half. If you haven't seen anthology by transworld, you're seriously missing out. It is basically mandatory viewing for every serious skater. It has the iconic clip where dyrdek is talking about skating with Penny at a chain on front of a bank and penny fucking shut that shit down. Rob said every other skater just stopped and watched Tom rifles off every flip trick in his bag regular and switch over the chain to the bank. If you bailed on the bank or throws you to the ground. It's a gnarly spot.

The level of skating was absolutely insane. Growing up skating in the 90’s this is almost impossible to comprehend. Love the channel guys!
IKR, I'm only about 10 years older than those guys, but holy shit, skateboarding evolved since I was a kid. The consistency and trick selection on a rail like this is still hard to comprehend for me. When I was a teenager, we thought shit like that was only possible in video games.

My uncle pete went to H.S. there in the 60's . I remember me & my friends being blown away seeing a older skate jaks ollie his yard stix over a street median in 1986 . Never would've imagined what we see skaters doing today .

Just a backside board slide down a rail that size was insane back then. I never got to the point of skating rails that big. I rather kick flip the set. Skateboarding has progressed so much. I saw that they said if they get 222k views theyll play skate on the 16 and then hoped against hope that this video wasnt old when I saw it had 42k views and then realized that it was only hours old when they posted this!!!!
We might actually get a game of skate on the 16, which is insane and unheard of and something that will be a milestone to witness in skateboarding having started around 1999. All I can say is, wow and be safe if you do it guys! Oh and thank you!
