there’s a big need for skateboarding media. Appreciate this segment.
The guy walking across the street during Milton’s kick flip had no idea what he was witnessing 😂
I think he pooed a wee bit actually
I was thinking the same thing. That dude just witnessed skateboard history
Shook One
Can't believe Milton threw out and stomped that gnarly kickflip 3 years after breaking his leg there. Beast
Milton's kicky was massssive
It was his ankle dude. Most common skateboard injury beside a busted wrist
Absolutely. Motivating to say the least!
That's a massive mental game from milton.
jamming it in the pit 🫣
midler is a real one for stopping for the homie. Probably made more of a difference than he even thinks
John Cardiel is still a legend to this day..... So far ahead of his time. Probably my favourite skater.
he quit years ago
@@cvltzilla Does a bear shit in the woods? the dude has the most NBD's then anyone in California....gotta pay homage.
@@cvltzilla He didn't quit he was forcibly retired by an injury. He can still skate a bit though and still does occasionally... Don't disrepect Cardiel like that
All hail!
Bro that's fkn awesome you included Mike Hoder jumping UP onto the roof, he's an awesome and really gnarly bike rider and deserves to be amongst all these incredible skaters who got clips here! 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
2:45: Glancing over to see probably the most athletic achievement that man has ever witnessed in his life
Imagine if he was just 20 feet further and block that shot. 😮
This series is so damn good, please keep ‘em going!
MOAR.
+1
Yeeeah man! 43 y.o here lovin watching you guys tear it up (😂@ doubles!), explaining the significance of a historical skate spot and paying respect to those who conquered it! Keep up the good work!!
Did you guys do the Jamie Thomas leap of faith spot?
For Milton to come back with a broken ankle after such a tragic bail and nail it. The kickflip he did was incredible. To roll away from that and conker the fear must have been a great feeling.
Conkers bad fur day
Nice to see Hoder getting some props.
Great video guys. Love the honest content about these spots. And as someone from the UK who's only seen them in videos, you really get a good appreciation for how the spots actually are.
Also my 6 year old and I want you to go see what the Wilshire 15 is doing these days!
sick!
Insane how much the tricks have progressed on such a gnarly spot.
@deez3063 you didn't see Alex Midler 360 into it?
You are BEYOND a beast if you step to a spot that injured you badly - mad respect for all skaters out there who know how to get back up after get your shot rocked 🤙 that mindset is a life skill
The amount of pop that Milton put into his kickflip kinda puts a lot of the other tricks to shame. Popping into the trick vs kinda rolling off into the bank
I partially agree, but Alex Midler’s back 3 was just as good in my opinion. Rotating into the bank was bonkers
This was fun to watch, the view looking down at the bank is a whole new perspective, Jesus Christ that’s sketchy, ballsy, and fucking dangerous as hell. Thanks for showing us all what’s up with this spot
Could you imagine even attempting a popped kickflip off that? Like even popping and kicking out you’re still have a LONG way to fall down and try to land on your feet on an insane incline
i love that u still skated the spot around the rail hahaha
Milton's kickflip is some of the best skate footage ever shot. GLORIOUS
Skating the Sunset car wash post-rail, this is a rad look back and a fun video.
These are the best videos on this channel. Please keep em comin.
I love this concept of skate history. Keep it going!
Seriously underrated channel, I really like these historic spot videos. Getting more views ton every one of these than you have subs, hopefully the sub count follows. You got my sub.
RIGHT HERE FOR MIDLER!! Still makes me laugh out loud
This is awesome I enjoyed every second of it and I walked past it many times unaware of those legendary tricks.
Thanks for watching!
Some of those "silly" tricks they do on the incline around the rail are actually pretty cool.
Imagine the commitment it takes to ride off a the end of what is essentially a two story building. Flip tricks take a different type of commitment but 270s are almost just as hard to keep under your feet. Absolutely insane
Yall did an awesome job on this. I'd love to see more about the history of spots. I love when people can talk about that shit. Super rad gentz :)
Milton is a friggin madlad.
Mass respect for throwing in the bmx clip in there. I always think of it when I see the gate these days
Been there many times and that spot is insane 🤯
Okay if we are saying Alex Midler did a 270 into the bank and not giving the full back 3 credit then we sure are not saying Gavin kish did a half cab, he clearly did a fakie 90
Why are you so salty 🧂
You wouldn’t even drop in
that top angle with the osmo really shows how steep it is. terrifying. also cool to see dalton appear in the videos, great work as always boys!
Those dorky tricks were actually hilarious
Love your videos revisiting all these iconic clips!
Best series
Thank you so much for mentioning bmx things in these history videos. I appreciate that and I'm really enjoying this series.
Dollin will forever be my favourite skater, always ripped and never gave a fuck. Was his own person just like all of us young Australian skaters coming out of grubby suburban skateparks just doing it for the shear love of skateboarding no corporate mindset whatsoever, hope I get to meet him one day and let him know how much he inspired me as a kid. What a legend
Dollin is a legend
Him,Greco, and Boulala are the three skaters that I watch there parts constantly or every so often
He only had one good part and drank his career away
Your videos are so entertaining. I miss skating
Do the LA courthouse next that spot has so much history
Thanks for the quick tutorial on how to make the spot skateable again.
Love the vids! Keep them up :) Lets see the LA river spot next!
That skate session on the bank was SOOOOOO 1980's! Loved it!
The Midler drive-by will live FOREVER 🛹🚙🎥
That's right next to the laugh factory there. I didn't know this was such a classic skate spot. I've been to that laugh factory a few times. Nice.
6:54 😂😂 skateboarding always finds a way! I’d love to hear from the owner, he’s probably a real estate guy on X
I love how you guys compilated these videos into your videos. Good stuff you guys.
This series rules. You guys should do the China banks in San Fran. So much cool stuff has gone down there.
Another fun vid, keep it up, bros.
Still the most underrated skating channel
💜
big respect for acknowledging Mike Hoder. If there's any bmx/skate crossover, it's S&M Bikes and Mike Hoder.
S&M even sell skate decks for the skate bros and all the BMX cameramen.
Mike hoder is awesome! We watched a bunch of his clips. Lots of respect to him and any other BMX riders killing it!
Love the classical music. It makes this so classy ❤
I love y'all dern bros. Y'all make my day.
@2:45 The best bit is the fight-or-flight response in the random dude crossing the street. He knew something big went down even if he didn't understand it.
The Double under the rail gave me a good laugh. Sometimes dork tricks are the best. Chomp on This.
loving the spot videos, keep them coming !
Love you guys . Love the content. I couldn’t imagine skating that spot, especially at night time. Florida represent !!!
Legends ✨ upon the tube...
sick
KEEP GOING!!!🎉
LUV THIS 🤩
This videos are amazing and bring back so many good memories
i love this channel! you guys rule
Love the creativity on the modern day setup. You guys make it happen no matter what...
I love these skate spot history episodes!
informative video boys, thank you
great videos. Florida boys 🤙 Great stuff
Diggin the content
Dude they fenced it
No words. Insanity. So cool.
great to see you guys still shredding the spot and dropping some motivation for someone to show up with a saw😂
this channel needs at least 300 million subs
Love this series 🫶🏻🔥
Keep these videos up! I think Dustin Dollin has the most head slams over any other skater.
Most beer slams maybe
really enjoyed this, ty
PLATINUM LEVEL CONTENT like NK and Creature going forward we require the Dern Bros.
🔥
So badass. Mad respect
Thanks for the video dudes
such a sick video wit all the history and shit. dern bros are rad af
Sick series mam keep it up
That bank is so fucking gnarly dude.... Jesus
These are awesome!
Yes this spot!!!
Love these history lessons
That’s sick! 🔥🔥🔥
Crazy spot
I think Jim Greco had the better looking ollie. I didn’t know it was such a large drop into the bank.
Hey, who’s the oldest to youngest and how did 2/3 brothers become goofy footed lol
Greco is one of those skaters that has so many great tricks you can’t even remember
Fun sesión 😂
Really enjoying these
Brutal spot
Great video! I Get anxiety every time I see this spot to this day. lol
It’s so huge and steep in person! Video doesn’t do it justice
Such a great video ❤
Coming back to try and then land a kickflip into that monster bank after completely mangling your ankle on it previously is INSANE!
Up there with Jaws on the Lyon 25.
Cool video, I enjoyed it!
Love love love these vids please never stop
That kickflip was the gnarliesr trick ever. It’s the last ABD I would want to try.
These dudes are like the property brothers, but for skating.
With pink hair and painted nails...😂😂😂
Wilshire and UC Davis would be cool spots to do an episode on.
ahhh sick
Love how they try to skate proof it and you guys still skated the shit out of it
