Bro that's fkn awesome you included Mike Hoder jumping UP onto the roof, he's an awesome and really gnarly bike rider and deserves to be amongst all these incredible skaters who got clips here! 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Yeeeah man! 43 y.o here lovin watching you guys tear it up (😂@ doubles!), explaining the significance of a historical skate spot and paying respect to those who conquered it! Keep up the good work!! Did you guys do the Jamie Thomas leap of faith spot?
@@cvltzilla He didn't quit he was forcibly retired by an injury. He can still skate a bit though and still does occasionally... Don't disrepect Cardiel like that
For Milton to come back with a broken ankle after such a tragic bail and nail it. The kickflip he did was incredible. To roll away from that and conker the fear must have been a great feeling.
Great video guys. Love the honest content about these spots. And as someone from the UK who's only seen them in videos, you really get a good appreciation for how the spots actually are.
You are BEYOND a beast if you step to a spot that injured you badly - mad respect for all skaters out there who know how to get back up after get your shot rocked 🤙 that mindset is a life skill
This was fun to watch, the view looking down at the bank is a whole new perspective, Jesus Christ that’s sketchy, ballsy, and fucking dangerous as hell. Thanks for showing us all what’s up with this spot
Could you imagine even attempting a popped kickflip off that? Like even popping and kicking out you’re still have a LONG way to fall down and try to land on your feet on an insane incline
The amount of pop that Milton put into his kickflip kinda puts a lot of the other tricks to shame. Popping into the trick vs kinda rolling off into the bank
Imagine the commitment it takes to ride off a the end of what is essentially a two story building. Flip tricks take a different type of commitment but 270s are almost just as hard to keep under your feet. Absolutely insane
I fucking love this series guys. I’m a new subscriber and this series really opens up my mind with history!! I seriously thought I knew a lot but maaannn I’m wrong, I never knew these spots have been shredded even when we never knew!!
big respect for acknowledging Mike Hoder. If there's any bmx/skate crossover, it's S&M Bikes and Mike Hoder. S&M even sell skate decks for the skate bros and all the BMX cameramen.
Milton’s such a fucking monster. That part is so damn legendary. Dude makes me sooo happy to be a life long skater. These new kids have balls of steel 🤘🏻 SMOOOOKES
@2:45 The best bit is the fight-or-flight response in the random dude crossing the street. He knew something big went down even if he didn't understand it.
Dollin will forever be my favourite skater, always ripped and never gave a fuck. Was his own person just like all of us young Australian skaters coming out of grubby suburban skateparks just doing it for the shear love of skateboarding no corporate mindset whatsoever, hope I get to meet him one day and let him know how much he inspired me as a kid. What a legend
I think Jim Greco had the better looking ollie. I didn’t know it was such a large drop into the bank. Hey, who’s the oldest to youngest and how did 2/3 brothers become goofy footed lol
there’s a big need for skateboarding media. Appreciate this segment.
midler is a real one for stopping for the homie. Probably made more of a difference than he even thinks
The guy walking across the street during Milton’s kick flip had no idea what he was witnessing 😂
I think he pooed a wee bit actually
I was thinking the same thing. That dude just witnessed skateboard history
Shook One
Bro that's fkn awesome you included Mike Hoder jumping UP onto the roof, he's an awesome and really gnarly bike rider and deserves to be amongst all these incredible skaters who got clips here! 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Can't believe Milton threw out and stomped that gnarly kickflip 3 years after breaking his leg there. Beast
Milton's kicky was massssive
It was his ankle dude. Most common skateboard injury beside a busted wrist
Absolutely. Motivating to say the least!
That's a massive mental game from milton.
jamming it in the pit 🫣
Skating the Sunset car wash post-rail, this is a rad look back and a fun video.
This series is so damn good, please keep ‘em going!
MOAR.
+1
Yeeeah man! 43 y.o here lovin watching you guys tear it up (😂@ doubles!), explaining the significance of a historical skate spot and paying respect to those who conquered it! Keep up the good work!!
Did you guys do the Jamie Thomas leap of faith spot?
Those dorky tricks were actually hilarious
John Cardiel is still a legend to this day..... So far ahead of his time. Probably my favourite skater.
he quit years ago
@@cvltzilla Does a bear shit in the woods? the dude has the most NBD's then anyone in California....gotta pay homage.
@@cvltzilla He didn't quit he was forcibly retired by an injury. He can still skate a bit though and still does occasionally... Don't disrepect Cardiel like that
All hail!
For Milton to come back with a broken ankle after such a tragic bail and nail it. The kickflip he did was incredible. To roll away from that and conker the fear must have been a great feeling.
Conkers bad fur day
These are the best videos on this channel. Please keep em comin.
Nice to see Hoder getting some props.
Milton's kickflip is some of the best skate footage ever shot. GLORIOUS
I love this concept of skate history. Keep it going!
2:45: Glancing over to see probably the most athletic achievement that man has ever witnessed in his life
Imagine if he was just 20 feet further and block that shot. 😮
Insane how much the tricks have progressed on such a gnarly spot.
@deez3063 you didn't see Alex Midler 360 into it?
Great video guys. Love the honest content about these spots. And as someone from the UK who's only seen them in videos, you really get a good appreciation for how the spots actually are.
Also my 6 year old and I want you to go see what the Wilshire 15 is doing these days!
You are BEYOND a beast if you step to a spot that injured you badly - mad respect for all skaters out there who know how to get back up after get your shot rocked 🤙 that mindset is a life skill
This is awesome I enjoyed every second of it and I walked past it many times unaware of those legendary tricks.
Thanks for watching!
Yall did an awesome job on this. I'd love to see more about the history of spots. I love when people can talk about that shit. Super rad gentz :)
Love your videos revisiting all these iconic clips!
i love that u still skated the spot around the rail hahaha
Mass respect for throwing in the bmx clip in there. I always think of it when I see the gate these days
This was fun to watch, the view looking down at the bank is a whole new perspective, Jesus Christ that’s sketchy, ballsy, and fucking dangerous as hell. Thanks for showing us all what’s up with this spot

I partially agree, but Alex Midler’s back 3 was just as good in my opinion. Rotating into the bank was bonkers
RIGHT HERE FOR MIDLER!! Still makes me laugh out loud
Thank you so much for mentioning bmx things in these history videos. I appreciate that and I'm really enjoying this series.
Milton is a friggin madlad.
sick!
Some of those "silly" tricks they do on the incline around the rail are actually pretty cool.
Love the creativity on the modern day setup. You guys make it happen no matter what...
Thanks for the quick tutorial on how to make the spot skateable again.
Been there many times and that spot is insane 🤯
I love how you guys compilated these videos into your videos. Good stuff you guys.
I love y'all dern bros. Y'all make my day.
Another fun vid, keep it up, bros.
Imagine the commitment it takes to ride off a the end of what is essentially a two story building. Flip tricks take a different type of commitment but 270s are almost just as hard to keep under your feet. Absolutely insane
Legends ✨ upon the tube...
Your videos are so entertaining. I miss skating
Love the vids! Keep them up :) Lets see the LA river spot next!
6:54 😂😂 skateboarding always finds a way! I’d love to hear from the owner, he’s probably a real estate guy on X
Love the classical music. It makes this so classy ❤
Best series
Still the most underrated skating channel

That skate session on the bank was SOOOOOO 1980's! Loved it!
that top angle with the osmo really shows how steep it is. terrifying. also cool to see dalton appear in the videos, great work as always boys!

Dollin is a legend
Him,Greco, and Boulala are the three skaters that I watch there parts constantly or every so often
He only had one good part and drank his career away
Cool video, I enjoyed it!
I think Jim Greco had the better looking ollie. I didn’t know it was such a large drop into the bank.
