Eurovision used to be all about the fan, the energy, the acceptance of being difference, but they have turned it out to a boring - ballads only- competition. This song is camp, funny, full of energy and very catchy, it should be on the final.
Maybe most people prefer ballads. You can find a colorful performance in circus as well.
