This is a great review. I bought the Hankook iON evo AS a month ago for my Tesla Model 3 Performance. There were a lack of reviews online so I was skeptical of this tire because I wasn't familiar with the Hankook brand. I had the Michelin Pilot AS on my car. They were great but only last 28,000 miles, not the 40,000 miles that was on the manufacturers warranty. This is because the car weighs much more than the average ice car and there is much more torque and horsepower that is put down on an EV. I was afraid that if I switched to the Hankook iON eve AS, I would lose performance from my previous tire. I travel 60+ miles 5 days a week for work and I've also traveled from New York to Boston and back last weekend. So far, I am extremely happy with the performance in the dry and the wet. I see a very slight improvement in my range, a noticeably quieter ride, especially when the car exceeds 60 mph and the performance of this tire is in the same ballpark at the Michelin Pilot Sport AS. Note, that I use my vehicle as a daily driver who likes to screw around a little. I'm not bringing this car to the track and if I was, I wouldn't be using an all season tire. Anyhow, if there was anyone on the fence with these tires like me, they won't let you down. I am a very happy customer. If these tires last anywhere near 50,000 miles, I will be a loyal repeat customer.
Do not get the electric drive GTs I had them I switched them out of my Model y 8k miles... they suck trust me I paid 1600 for them there not worth it... I bought them thinking they were going to be the best cause there made for performance electric vehicles. Just go with the hankooks... tesla already switched to hankook from factory.. not sure if they did in the US but in other countries already have hankook straight from factory
How? I have not found suitable size on their website 😢 I have model 3 with 19 inch rims.. 235/40 r19 and hankook does not have it on their site and I could not find in on internet for all EU 😢
This is not really a review, it's just a regurgitation of specs and basic knowledge. How do they compare to other tires? What about dry/wet braking performance tests?
What tire size are these? I have a 2023 MY LR AWD. (NOT Performance). 19" Gemini's. Given the suspension improvements in the 2023 Y, would I notice a difference in the ride quality? I know you would in an older Y.
Great to see, that If you run an NON EV tire, you can drive about 200meters, cause your battery is drained. But if you use the iON tire, it wont be noticable..

Thanks for your comments. I'm deciding between these and Goodyear Electric Drive for my Model Y Long Range.

@@juradosty I have the 235/40 19 on my Model 3 LR. I bought the tires from Walmart.
How does it compare to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 Elect?

You have reviewed the iON Evo AS, not the iON Evo which are summer tires. So clarify that in your title
I also came looking for the review of the non AS tire.
How about a link to the tire store where you got the tires?

what pressure do you tun these at?
How did you fit Ion evo AS to Model Y?
Recomended dimentions for Model Y with the 19inch wheels please
Nice advert, lacking in info.
