Great score!!! I believe the green glass is uranium glass. It's very collectable and it glows in the dark.
Oh, and the star wars cards at the beginning are worth money. Especially the blue ones. They came out when the first star wars came out. The yellow is Empire, I believe and the red are Return of the Jedi. Very and highly collectable!!!

The "silver" things, you called bookends, are wedding cups. Each one forms a heart, if you look down at the cup part, and the hearts fit together perfectly. The $50 jar looks like it may be uranium glassware from the early 20th century. If you get a black light and put the jar under it, with the lights off, it will glow if it actually is. This would explain the price on it.
Is it not called jadeite if it glows it contains uranium.

And I bet you that if it was a military move that person that was in the service might have been nicknamed Tigger and that would explain all the Tigger toys. I'm happy for y'all to find all these cool things on the other part my heart breaks for whoever lost the locker. Btw, I am a huge fan and love y'all's videos. As an early generation x woman, I recognize so many things that y'all don't quite know what they are because of your generation if y'all didn't grow up with the stuff that we did. I sit here and watch your videos and recognize so much that y'all overlook. Maybe one day y'all can go live with one of us old people while you're going through some of the stuff we can let you know what it is and what it's worth. Just keep on keepin on and doing a good job. Everyone commenting how great it is to see your excitement and how nice you are rummaging through the belongings of a VETERAN. It's nice to see what people truly think about us veterans, this man's military career reduced to nothing but a resell price.
The Godinger jewelry boxes are usually not sterling; they are silverplated, bronze, or brass. You found the lid in the previous video in a different box. It's worth looking up the piece. Very old ones sell for 40 to 100, depending on condition; newer ones about half that. Folks collect them.

idea - donate books to the local jail. somebody might read a book for the first time ever
I do that...just check first most jails won't accept hard cover books but take all the paperbacks..comic books..newspapers..just nothing with a hard cover 😊

Best storage unit ever...but it literally blows my mind how someone who must have had the same kind of LOVE you have for things like that, must have spent YEARS collecting, and then just lost it...one box of those toys could have paid for another 6 months on that unit. Great unit!!! The Heroclix are a game where you have a mat that represents a map and the herocliq are the pieces that move around and fight each other based on the #'s on the base. The bases spin or click around and show their different strengths etc. Very fun. I used to play and collect with my kids when they were young.

It's so interesting to watch what you find valuable as opposed to what some of the other people I watch consider valuable. I watch some guys that would go crazy over the boxes of toys and would go through them in detail looking for the valuable ones. The stuff that's still boxed is obviously the best, but some of what you send to yard sale others would be going nuts over. That's the fun of watching different people.

Those Marvel Heroic Clix are used in some type of game like D&D. Make sure you look up each one. Some have sold for a couple hundred bucks and others for $10. Great find, it's something I've never seen in my 50 years. But then again, you always have cool finds

The Star Wars Darth Maul figures. As the person is a collector, i'd check them for being variants. The usual Darth Maul figures came with a grey vest, but there's a variant that's all black. That one is worth big money. You're better looking up what the variant looks like rather than me explaining it.

You never know what you might find in these type of units. I read Art and Antiques Weekly, and every once in a while you see an original unopened set of Magic the Gathering cards selling for $18,000 or something crazy like that. There are Star Wars figures from the 70s that have gone for over $10K.
I was just looking at this week's issue - a lot of 7 unbranded Pez dispenser knock-offs from 1970 sold for $2124. Crazy! In the same auction, a 1966 Husky set of Batmobile, Batboat, and Trailer sold for $2375.

OK, flew to Chicago 4 years ago to see Iron Maiden again. Saw them in Pittsburgh in the 70s, and they are still awesome. When we were on our plane to fly home, Iron Maiden's plane was behind us and their lead singer, Bruce D, their pilot was waving at all of us.

27:40- Those are Korean Banknotes from North Korea. North Korea's currency is called the Won. 900 Wons = $1.00. Those are Mint condition collectables and could be worth a little bit more.

Jebus, that green jar with the brown lid might be Uranium glass. Take a black light and shine through it. If it glows a bright green, then it's Uranium glass, which makes it very collectible. Some patterns are worth more than others, but it's worth getting it looked t if you don't have a black light.
My son is 43 years old now, but he had the whole he-man collection, castle, and the mountain When he was around six years old. So that makes that older said you picked up about 35 years old? I could smack myself across the side of the head, because I think I threw them out in the trash. I could scream! Those Precious moments figurines look to be older and would be worth more money. I feel like a kid watching you open these boxes.

Awesome unit! So many cool things. It seems that he is probably deployed out of the US since it wasn't basic household junk. Military families learn to keep what's not replaceable and sell the rest so you don't have to move it. But they had really cool stuff!
