Tourism in Barcelona (2024)

In this video I talk to some of the locals of Barcelona, Spain to get their perspective on life in the city - where to go, etc.
I didn't expect that many of the locals were harder to talk to. A lot of tourists who don't respect local life are affecting their way of living.

Very informative video. I have been to Barcelona and some of the surrounding towns, all very beautiful with wonderful food. My daughter even stayed as an exchange student and we went and visited the family. But yes, lots of tourists and we notice the difference in numbers. Still, I hope to return. I would have loved to live there.

I am not surprised. I got the same feeling as Marc (regarding tourists) when I was there for almost three months. Fortunately, I felt very safe as I do in most of Spain. Came back from Cadaqués at 2 in the morning and walked home without incident.

Yes beautiful city. I went to visit and found that there were so many people and it was difficult to integrate and understand the local culture because of so many tourists. Beautiful nonetheless
