True
Nah a million dollars would be nice
Legit can feel that hahaha a bowl of sesh in front too. But fuqq, off to work i go
@@baccycones7644 1 mill only gets you a meet and greet with Span these days😂
I used to live in la mina at the making of this video you can see my car at 12:57 (red opel tigra) crazy that i could have bumped into the creator of the video
Are the women promiscuous there?
Love this series Spanian brother! Great to see you shed light on these areas, as someone who lived here my whole life, you're right about most of it!
Spanian become an architecture channel so slowly i barely noticed
Spanian, you need to visit the city of Charleroi, seen by many as Europe's ugliest city (Disputedly), and by far the most hood city in Belgium (Disputedly). It'll be cool if you could walk in the industral areas and surrounding housing.
Charleroi the ugliest city, people are weird, lot of abandonned buldings,..I agree but it is pretty safe compared to some others places in Belgium: hoods in Brussels(Cité modèle, Cité les Marolles, Old Molenbeek, Brussels-Chapelle, Annessens,..) or Borgerhout in Antwerpen.
j'etais a molenbeek avant@@micmotm2479
Borgerhout is not unsafe I think but Brussels has some sketchy areas
The biggest ghetto in belgium is molenbeek.
Is it worse than Gare du Midi and it's surroundings?😂😂
You are easily my favorite youtuber right now, keep it up!
You need to do an episode on a soccer derby, rivals game, vlog the pre game atmosphere and food they serve around the stadium, talk to some fans and post game celebrations you will have an amazing time
I agree. He should do some big derbies. He hasn't been to Croatia yet, Hajduk vs Dinamo is in March. Also he can go to EURO 2024 later next year that would be hectic.
You mean football, right 🙄
@@kingcarrot6355 same shit right? If you’re not Australian I will educate you. Here in Australia it’s called soccer since Australian football is historically a distinctive significant form of football and had a strong heritage in the country during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when soccer was less popular here than it was elsewhere.
So in short - historically football is AFL and soccer is used to seperate the two. Since “football” refers to a few different sports soccer makes it easier for people to understand which exact sport I am talking about. Still considerably the king of sports in Australia, AFL dominates over soccer so it bears the right to be crowned “football” or “footy” here.
@@ssusggusshut up bra it’s football

I really appreciate your work man. It is so interesting to see the knits of what really goes down in different hoods even in other countries. Makes me really grateful to be able to live the life I have…
Spanian walking through Kensington Avenue in Philly would be an interesting watch!
What I saw in this video is basically how typical European (big city) suburb looks like, as soon as you move away from the city centre, only more run down and dirty. Spain, France, Germany, Italy... all the same, concrete blocks from the 80's. Eastern Europe, even more concrete blocks. The only reason you're so shocked by it is because you haven't seen/experienced it before. I had the same "shock" when I visited Australia (coming from Europe) and saw all the "flat" Australian suburbs full of houses with front/back yard, maximum height being double storey houses.
While I do like to watch your "in da hood" videos, there's one very big and very important component missing in all of them. Interaction with people, showing and experiencing the hood culture. Showing run down architecture and mostly empty streets covered with garbage doesn't necessarily mean it's a "hood" or "dangerous".
I though that too at the start of this series and still kind of think that is the way to go but I guess what he likes is it to be from his perspective and going in there naive to the places and just giving his first and genuine impression
Fully agree! It’s mostly like, “look at all this scary architecture during the quietest time of the day!”
Also, that street with all the garbage was likely only still messy after a (lively) street market had been held there.
He mentioned in one of his videos he doesn’t like interacting with people, even friends. I think it was one of the videos he did in Sydney.
Comes down to language barriers aswell I think, unless you can speak multiple languages or bump into someone that speaks English it’ll be hard to get much out of any interactions
Because Spain in general has a really low violent crime rate. Even in the worst areas it’s generally no violent crime and petty theft.
10:06 You don't need to be a construction engineer to see that this building is a mass catastrophe waiting to happen.
Great stuff once again Spanian, thank you so much for these hood tours, there's something weirdly "beautiful" about the grimness of these.
Everywhere you go you blend in 🤣 you look Spanish, Greek, Italian, Romanian, Portuguese.. You should definitely hook up with a local or 2 from the areas you visit to get some insider knowledge of how it is to live there and they'll show you the real nitty and gritty. Hope to see that soon. Pce 👊🏼
He could pass for N.african..which .is common there....
It seems to me that few Spaniards, Italians, Greeks... you have seen. He looks more like an Arab
He doesn't look spanish at all.
Neither Greek @@Ilar-en7lg
Hey Spanian, The world has gone to shit, relationships and all,but ....... I do get my juice by watching your adventures! Thankyou so much for your time and energy xx
The world has always had crime and poverty you think these places are new
For a surprisingly ghetto type area there are some decent vehicles parked and women walking alone.
It is a filthy place.
Those shops you said looked like a prison reminded me of Wilmot shops in Mt Druitt 😂
Everytime I watch a video from Span I just feel like going for a walk 😂
I would love to see what Spanian thinks of the hoods here in South Africa...we got people living in homemade, tin shacks. None of this public housing "luxury"
He ain’t that stupid. He’s trying to make some bank, not die.
@@billymack333Yeah, fuck that! 🫣
That ain’t hood, that’s called homelessness
@@billymack333 idk he looks like he’s enjoying each trip
@@f4rq744 Oh they are hoods alright... thousands of them around South Africa... but as someone says above... he doesn't want to die. And you don't go near thousands of areas in the South African townships if you're not local (even then they're killing each other).
Theres something so calming watching a big guy go through scary places ive gone.
Spanian lad! Are you planning on going to that crazy ghetto in Marseille? That would be crazy if you would go there but also very dangerous I guess. Salute from Poland broski! 🇵🇱🇵🇱
These videos need to be 30 mins, like if you think so
I would love u to interact with the locals a bit more in ur videos. They bring real stories from around there and a different point of view on where u are at the moment
Probably a language barrier at the moment
Respect for going back and doing it the proper way this time. Really hurt your credibility in my eyes (as someone who’s lived here in Barcelona for 4+yrs) to see you refer to Raval like that, a neighborhood with world class museums, cocktail bars, nice restaurants, an opera house, etc.; none of these things you’d find in a real “hood.”
maybe chuck the camera on your bag strap if you can might look more like a bag accessory. Keep up the awesome mahi bro, bringing awareness 🤍
Na even the Bronx looks better than this place these days.
True
Should 100% keeping it up, your spreading awareness at the end of the day, more people need to understand how they gotta live yk shit ain’t easy
The beach park is very developed because Barcelona’s biggest music festival is held there (primavera sound)
The palm-trees and reflective windows do resemble Miami. The hoods in Miami would probably surprise you. The Caribbean influence of pastel buildings hide the poverty and deadly nature of gang activity.
Bra can I just say the background beats be mixing with the clip so well
The scary bit is it just keeps going. In sydney you only need to run two streets and youre out but this would be a nightmare
This place still looks way better than the Slums in Naples
This isnt the worst parts of Spain that would be "La Cañada Real" or "El Vacie" imo
Glad you made it out of there Span! I get worried sick watching you walk through these dangerous hoods all alone.
You made me laugh when you said - "It must be a thing to just chuck your rubbish out the window". Lol how crazy. Keep safe lad. 🙏🙏🌸🌸
Love the hood tours but they would be 100x better if you had more interactions with people rather than walk around deserted residential streets during the day
Agreed, that's why his hood tours in Aus are the best
lol that's not practical nor smart, dude. You don't turn up in a hood in some foreign country (where your don't even speak the language and approach people casually🤦♂ In the US, the locals don't even do that in their own hood unless it's people they know. That's one of the quickest ways to get your ass robbed, shot up or stabbed.
He is tripping he is is above your level to talk to you. Screwup is hallucinating he don’t owe people respect for watching his crap.
Much love brother❤ you have brought some brilliant content keep OGG 😊
It's "lets OG" (original gangster). Reversed "Go".

Would love to see more food review videos Spanian.
Spanian probably doesn't know this but a few years ago, the youngest daughter of one of the main crime families from La Mina got shot in the head in a nightclub and when people realized this, HUNDREDS of inhabitants from the hood (including civilians) packed their things and left the very same night because they feared that a very dangerous conflict would start in that place since La Mina is by far the place with the most shootings and homicides in Barcelona, so yeah, a little bit silly to compare a place like this with El Raval which is just a bunch of illegal migrants and crackheads robbing tourists
I was in both neighbourhoods several times, last week. No problem at all. Spanian is a sensationalist fake news pu$$y
Let's compare it to Detroit tho.
@@tagheuer02 I never said that Barcelona is worse than any American city, get a job
I honestly look forward to these videos after work
Spanian you need to go to Cañada Real in Madrid. It is the largest shanty town in Europe and ran by Narco groups from South America.
Bro keep doing what your doing. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 from 🇬🇧🇪🇸
15:30
That piano hitting the bass end... Noice Track... Totally works.
I commute with a bus that goes around La Mina, and as you have noticed they definitely chuck the trash out the window. As the road I travel on is a little higher, I can see the roofs of the shorter buildings from the bus, and they're PACKED with rubbish. So that means trash can only get up there if they do throw it out of the window, from the adjacent taller buildings. Nice neighbors to have right?
Mate, you gotta head over here to Bulgaria. The different types of blocks will blow your mind!
It's like a post zombie apocalypse city, without the overgrowth.
Spanians intro is like an opening scene to a mafia action packed movie😂😂
Watching this one before I go to work, bother visit your roots in Scotland, 🏴 beautiful country and people ( but has it’s double sketchy parts) 👌🏼
I would love to see this too mate, Scottish lad now living in Australia. I'm not sure if Spanian or his team read these comments, but Possilpark in Glasgow is a hood for sure. I wouldn't recommend roaming around there solo, however.
I’m a Scottish born Londoner brother, and totally agree 👍 I think his management team pick up on comments, spanian mentioned in previous vlog he’s got Scottish ancestry on one of his nans sides , be a long way to go but well worth it, all the best for Christmas and new year brother 🏴👌🏼
The Celt in him..Scots..attracts me to him...he's got something about him..I Like 🎄🎄
I used to live there in the beginning of the pandemic. We had like 4 occupied apartments just in our stairs.
bros attend on being spanish was a german "hallo" hahahahah best videos ever love it
LOVE these videos, not just the 'hood ones either. Awesome content 👌
WOW!!!!!! I’m incredibly intrigued especially since I’m watching from the USA (Memphis Tennessee) definitely different from our hoods 😮
Seeing this is so funny to me. There's empty/run-down places like this everwhere, obviously, but its funny to see places that seem familiar being described as the "hood." If you want to actually witness horrible, horrible living conditions go to Las Asperones in Málaga. This is the first one I can think of as it is close to where I work, but there's patches like that everywhere in the south of Spain. Although I wouldn't call Los Asperones a hood, just a clear example of neglect taken to the max.
This is awesome spanian, but stepping it up a level would be trying to talk to locals in these hood areas.
He probably will...when he .starts his other projects later on...Now he is keeping it simple..and sussing it out..🎄🎄
May need a translator
@@nihaoshamamingzhu5884 a lot of people speak English, he needs to set up things before entering. I'm sure ppl on IG would hit him up

Love this and your new daily vlog channel Spanian 👌
Man,you have been to several places in Portugal and you said yourself how much you loved Lisbon. I would love watching the Into the hood series in Portugal though. In Lisbon I recommend you to google for Cova da Moura, Chelas and Bairro Portugal Novo. Outside Lisbon, definitely google for Bairro da Jamaica in Seixal and Bairro da Bela Vista in Setúbal. Both are in cities close to Lisbon and you will be mesmerised for how and it looks for European standards. Big hug from Portugal!
Is this parody? This is considered a nice, clean, well-built neighborhood where I live.
what's curious is that the Primavera Sound festival is held not that far from that neighborhood, which usually gets full of Brits, interesting to say the least
Mondays after work !! Always a goof watch!!
Its a mad day when we get two hits of Spanian ❤ living for the daily vlogs! 🫶🙌
Spanian 🙌. You simply the man.
Stay blessed brother 🙏 🤝
you the man brother much love!
Spanian needs to do an Into The Hood in the UK.
Yeah, some of the northern shitholes like Grimsby, Hull, Bradford would be a start.
Then maybe down south.
England 🏴
😂 I was going to say Grimsby, he should try Birmingham and Manchester Hoods even give Northern Island a go. Barcelona didn’t look at all scary.
@@jeremyschofield8280Lol never seen hoods in the UK look like this and I have been all over London South London, Manchester, Birmingham etc
There's no hood in the UK. Deprived areas yeah, complexes of tower blocks yeah but definitely no hoods and this is from someone who's been around. Grimsby is far from a hood it's a shi*hole but not a hood
Glasgow used to be a dangerous place, but it's gotten a lot better. Apparently there are some rough folks in a place called Kilmarnock
Ya look like a undercover cop with that camera on ya shirt 😂
"Buenas" is either good morning, afternoon or evening, depending on what time of day it is 👌 your videos are epic bro 💯
Come to Valencia my brother, if you like it I'll show you "El barrio de La Coma", in Paterna, Valencia, were I live. It is a deprived housing area. So I could talk in English with you and you could take an interesting episode for your channel I think. ATB. Gabriel.
That's what he needs, a translator / guide for each area
@@nihaoshamamingzhu5884 I could at least help him around here.
Your best try on speaking Spanish was the best hahaha hilarious hehehe. Tks 4 making me laugh and not being judgemental/biased 😊
That bodycam looks suspicious bro haha, big up span💯
Propah hood no doubt but still had a kinda chilled spanish vibe coming thru in the video
Best series on UA-cam brother 🙌
Should go too Glasgow and Edinburgh. Possilpark in Glasgow and Wester hailes in Edinburgh
Love the spanian travelling to other countries 😊😊
As a person from nyc and lives in the bronx, this hood is nothing like the hood in the bronx or nyc
u gotta come see Derry N.Ireland were alot of the troubles happened..love the channel..x
Thanks for making your content man. Most inportantly you keep it real yet still humble and educational. I really got into travel youtubers over lockdown but struggle as i started to realise a few of them were assholes! Subscribed.
Spanos never disappoints 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Atleast you show a bit of inside them and should show more of the inside!! SALUTE FROM SCOTLAND BRO 👊🏴
Love us some into the hood 💯
Man never forgets where he comes from and that’s what most people forget when they start receiving fame, Spanian has a respectable ego while being humble at the same time with his origins, King shit and real man shit!
You gotta get the rayban meta glasses bro
You never show the hood in Denmark like you say you will. Been looking forward to see it.
Why no Marseille yet? That's supposedly a crazy crazy city.
Edit: People chucking their trash out the windows because trash is expensive in Europe. In The Netherlands (where i live) i have to pay €2,40 per 30 LITER TRASHBAG i dispose of, it's crazy.
Always look forward to these. Seriously though looks like Disneyland compared to Vancouver or Kensington Philadelphia.
Look up "La Cañada Real" or "Son Banya" or "El Vacie" and compare it to Vancouver
another banger spanian
You should go to one of Sweden’s hood bro, maybe Rinkeby in Stockholm
this man has the best intro iv ever heard
Haunting and incredible bro
Watchin ya while waiting 4 down graded Jasper to make landfall here in Cairns,,this series 😢you do is flippin mind blowing yet intriguing at the same time, it’s mad ya show the good parts the tourist parts & now the slum parts 1 of the shops you showed with the gates looked a bit like Airds shop you went to a few months back, anyway kool episode
Yeah keep Jasper up there away from Townsville!

This felt like a playground compared to Athens or Bucharest. Please, visit some of Stockholm's dangerous neighborhoods then. e.g. Alby, Norsborg, Fittja, Vårberg, Rinkeby etc
It’s not a competition. Get a grip.
Rinkeby for sure

the shops are shut cuz of siesta mate, La mina isnt a 'hood' just a low income area. its perfectly safe. lived here 6 years....
I’ve stayed in a air b&b and the princess hotel. Were Spanian is located is literally 5mins away from it I’ve never once felt intimidated while here lol
In 2016 a spanish gypsy lad from the Mina got murdered by another lad from a different clan in a nightclub, next day 300-500 people from the rival families had to move out cos of revenge fears. So hectic down there
I love how La Mina is in fact animal backwards 😅😂
Hope ur keeping well king
